With her music playing Annabelle came out from the curtains Annabelle came out to a chorus of boos given her ties to The Harbingers, but she didn't care, she was still smiled and good vibes as she came out waving to both sides without a care in the world! The pinkette strutted down to the ring with pep in her step as she walked up the steel steps before ducking in between the ropes and stepping into the ring going over to her corner to await for the blonde powerhouse to come down.
This was not a match Astrid Ostberg was looking forward to.
The only reason she was here at all was because of her last encounter with the Harbingers - in which she'd been cornered in front of the press, beaten up by the trio, and coerced into accepting a deal from their leader. A deal that she would need to partake in a match against each member of the team, one by one, in order to protect her status in LAW - and those matches would be on their terms. Naturally, the Harbingers had picked stipulations for the matches that weighted the odds in their favor - and for her first match, against Annabelle Valentine, Astrid would be competing in a hentai match. The very thought of it brought a blush to her face. Astrid had never done anything of the sort before - she wanted her athletic prowess to be why people remembered her, and viewed hentai as just some silly gimmick. Her own reservations were going to hold her back just as much as her lack of experience. Anabelle, on the other hand, was well versed in hentai wrestling - while Astrid might have been an accomplished former champion, she was undoubtedly the less experienced of the two in this particular context. It seemed as if the Harbingers had gone out of their way to make Astrid's first match against them not just an uphill battle, but a humiliation on a personal level.
And yet...Astrid knew that if she turned this match down, that would be just as damaging a blow to her character. Astrid had never backed down from a challenge before. In all previous encounters, she had held onto her faith in herself, and that had been enough to carry her through. But could that faith save her now, when she knew just as much as everyone else that she was in over her head? She swallowed a gulp as she thought about it. But she had to try, at least. Astrid Ostberg wasn't someone who backed away. She wasn't a coward. To no-show this match would be to admit that she didn't think she could handle it - and that would be handing the Harbingers the sort of victory they wanted most. She needed to be here just to prove a point, she told herself. And after all the failures and shortcomings she'd been dealt lately, Astrid couldn't afford to surrender. Spoiler

Despite the triumphant music playing over the speakers, Astrid didn't have much enthusiasm coming down the ramp - her expression was flat, and her fists were clenched at her side with anxiety more than determination, trembling just a little. When she got to the ring, she stopped and sighed - she had to ask herself, was she really doing this? But she had no other choice than to face Annabelle head-on. With that, she climbed in through the ropes, looking up to meet her foe eye to eye.
