The Prima Donna's Diary - Chapter 5.1: Tough Enough - Part II (vs Lauren Fredericks)
Posted: Sun Oct 12, 2025 4:41 am
Dear Diary~...
Ami Anderson, the 'Prima Donna Darling' vs Lauren Fredericks
Match Type: "Standard."
Win by scoring a pinfall of three seconds on the opponent, forcing a wrestler to submit, or knocking the wrestler out. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, they will be disqualified after a ten-count. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the submission or pinfall MUST happen within the confines of the ring.
"...Making her way to ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California...standing at 4'11 and weighing in at 105 lbs, the brightest star in the sky...the sweetest diva on the stage...the PRIMA DONNA DARLING...AMI...ANDERSON!!!"
Ami stepped out from behind the curtain, emerging to a mixed sea of applause and ambivalence from the crowd, a couple of snickers here and there, too...but it didn't deter the Prima Donna Darling as she marched down the aisle looking more confident than ever before. In the past two weeks, Ami had undergone some rigorous training. She pushed herself to move faster, hit harder, focus on her opponent, and avoid getting caught up in all the flair. While showboating and working the crowd were vital traits for a wrestler, it was more important to actually WIN the match than to lose yourself in all the fanfare and wind up the flashiest loser.
With that in mind, Ami wasn't wearing her typical gear. This time, she wore her leotard outfit, complete with wristbands and standard-issue kneepads and boots. She looked like she had just finished up a session at the gym, but her rather lackluster attire was evidence of her mindset on this match tonight. Focus on the wrestling, save all the flashy stuff for later. Her outfit still had a bit of pizzazz here and there, what with the glittery edges on her leotard, but her movements were sharp and focused as she entered the ring promptly, slipping through the ropes, moving toward her corner, and waiting for Lauren's arrival.
Truth be told, the girl was taking herself...and this loss...WAY too seriously. Most people wouldn't even see Lauren as a legitimate threat, but to Ami, she was. I mean, she had way more experience, was bigger, was stronger, and could easily bulldoze the young woman. Ami saw Lauren as a challenge...a rival of sorts. In her mind, she was still getting lost in the fanfare of it all, treating Lauren like this monumental challenge to overcome, whereas most other wrestlers wouldn't bat an eye at the older blonde. In a weird way, this 'mindset' Ami had demonstrated the level of respect she had for Lauren...going this far and making this much of a fuss to get a rematch with her, not because it'd be an easy win, but because it wouldn't be.

Diary Entry (READ ME)
Tonight's a special night, diary. After my loss to Lauren Fredericks last week, admittedly due to my own foolishness, I decided to request a rematch. It took a lot of complaining and begging on my part to get the time slot booked...I'll admit, I got ahead of myself by even asking, but fortunately, the higher-ups were feeling generous.
Or maybe they just thought I'd get thrown around the ring again, eugh-...
Regardless! After a lengthy two weeks' worth of waiting, I've finally got my rematch!!! This time, I'll show Lauren that I'm not some brown-haired broad who isn't fit for the ring. I've taken her advice to heart and now I'm coming back better than ever. Every loss is just a minor setback, after all!!! I'll prove that I'm more than capable to her and ALL the doubters. I've seen the social media posts...plenty of clips of me getting tossed around...my name being slandered as just another dumb little girl who can't contend with a so-called 'jobber' like Lauren. Honestly, the comments about me didn't upset me THAT much. It was more the comments that insulted Lauren that made me mad, believe it or not.
I may have lost to her, but I don't hate her. I'm a fan of hers! It was fun sharing the ring with her, even if I didn't win. At first, I felt awful about it, dwelling in self-pity that night after I left the ring. But the morning I woke up, I felt a fire inside me, something that motivated me to get out of bed and get right back in the gym, drilling myself twice as hard and setting the goal to get this rematch.
So here I am, diary, ready to go out there and make the most out of this second chance. I just hope Lauren doesn't take this the wrong way. The last thing I want to do is upset her by coming off as a brat, like our first match was a fluke or something. What I want out of this match is the opportunity to make up for how I lost. The first time around, I went into this fight like a total novice, and I paid the price for it by getting outclassed because I got caught up in all the flashiness.
But tonight's gonna be different, diary...just you wait.
XOXO, Yours forever~, Ami Anderson...The Prima Donna Darling~ <3
