Test of Willpower! Nova Steele (Debut) vs. Gabriel Vinlee [No-DQ match]

Type: No-DQ
Rules: Anything goes, no disqualifications of any kind. The match can continue even if one of the two is unconscious.
Win by: Pinfall, I quit, tap out.

The night had been shaping up to be a nice break from the routine—the weekend had arrived with Friday, and LAW matches were crowding the channels and websites...

The last wrestler was leaving the arena after a landslide victory, passing by a blonde who was already in the gorilla's position, sighing to calm herself and anchored in a pose with one hand on her hips. The wrestler greeted her, and the British woman returned the gesture with a murmured, euphoric "Hey, hun!" without batting an eyelid or diverting her attention.

They wanted to tell the blonde with beautiful green eyes who her opponent would be, but Gabriel wouldn't let them. Gabbie just knew that this match would be someone's debut and that new girl surely represented everything she is not; in the ring, of course: a babyface with magnetic projection and contagious energy.

Gabriel will see how true that is...

The clocks struck 9 p.m. The lights in the arena dimmed until they went out, allowing the buzz of the fans to subside until only sporadic flashes of noise remained here and there.

Everyone was attentive to what was coming...

Gabriel's favourite time...

And the debut of her opponent...

In the dim light, her eyes shone brightly. longing to hear it. Her war melody...
Theme music
Her theme song began to thrill the masses. They chanted along to the crescendoing rhythm. The blonde exhaled like an animal and crossed the entrance to the upper ramp with energetic jumps before stopping at the beginning of it, puffing out her large bust and extending her arms to receive the cheers of the loudest fans in this federation. Accompanied by the side lasers on the ramp, the blonde raised her hips and pivoted them forcefully, but very slowly, from side to side, dancing her miniskirt to the rhythm of her passion.

Drenching them with her attitude as absorbing the world of L.A.W into her beautiful and seductive skin!
Gabriel's attire

Anyone would think she was cheering up this arena, as any wrestler must do to be at the top of the fans' popularity poll. However, her oldest fans know that a new outfit, more freedom, and many more perks are not enough to change a queen's attitude towards the plebs. This golden lioness was enjoying her favourite song, the hot air of this arena, and the dream come true of welcoming a girl as promising as the one she must now confront.

That time, her manager wanted to tell her who the other wrestler was so that Gabriel would cooperate with the debut. But the Royal Viper was true to her ways and stubborn as a beast. She didn't read any of that report nor allow her ears to be filled with details about the debut girl. Today, she wanted to continue to be surprised, and she would, even if she had to burn the arena.

They did have the audacity to tell her what kind of match it would be, and well, with that, they made it clear what she should expect: everything. Absolutely everything!

What kind of woman can handle a No-DQ in her debut? Or what intentions might she have? Will she be a saint or a nightmare? Will she be strict or fun? Will they hate each other, or will it just be a one-night stand? Those doubts made her heart pump intensely and loudly.

Her eyes sparkled, glassy and euphoric. She wants a second date with that girl, and wants it to happen in a ring, too!

Fortunately, all those emotions had passed before this entrance...

Returning to the arena, the blonde relaxed with a sigh and began her walk down the top ramp without paying attention to the hands at the sides of the ramp or the thousand ideas her lustful imagination wanted to plant in her head. She platonically ignored every attempt by the fans to get a little bit of her! She modelled with her hands firmly at her sides and her gaze fixed on the ring, smiled half-heartedly and rolled her eyes indifferently. Enjoying the pleasure of continuing to reserve her attention solely for her opponent.

Moving further and further away from the insistent fans, the Blonde Brit started bouncing playfully as she made her way towards her favourite place: the ring.

She entered it using one of ringsteps. She sat on the middle rope, and with her distinctive elegance, slowly crossed each of her long legs over the middle rope, extending them with the grace of a dancer.

She strolled to the middle of the ring, chewing the tip of her tongue while shaking her head in a cheeky way. Then she spun round to face the ramp—one hand on her hip and the other over her mouth. Gabbie pulled her hand away like it was a take-off runway for her flying kiss as she curtsied. If her opponent was lurking behind the entrance, watching, they’d know she was sending them her greetings.

Instead of heading to her corner, she wandered over to the far ropes and plonked herself down, hooking her arms over the top rope as she waited for her new rival to show up. Gabriel even had the cheek to brush off the ref’s warning. She waved her hand as if to say “forget it”, sitting tight while the announcer carried on introducing the other girl. She wasn’t budging from her spot. Not tonight.

Starcourt - To Hell and Back
The lights dipped, and the opening pulse of her theme thundered through the arena, its synthwave beat shimmering like starlight. A wash of blue and red lights crisscrossed the stage, and from the thin trickle of mistspilled out from over the top of the ramp, there she was,
Image
.

She didn’t strut or posture. She didn’t need to. Just standing there, framed in the neon glow, the effect was magnetic. Long pink hair framed her visage, her features striking yet softened by an easy, earnest smile. Her toned physique was undeniable, a picture of strength and grace, but Nova carried it with the air of someone who hadn’t come to flaunt beauty, only to fight.

The crowd cheered louder as she began her walk, steady and purposeful, each step syncing perfectly with the beat. She brushed a few fingertips against outstretched hands along the way, not showboating, but sharing in the moment with the people who had come to see her. She was their heroine, not because she said it, but because she carried herself like one.

Reaching the ring, Nova grabbed the apron and vaulted up in a single smooth motion. With the crowd roaring, she grasped to the ropes and launched herself up in a low vault, landing in the classic super hero three-point pose. Nova didn’t pause long, instead, she rose tall, shoulders squared, chest lifted, like a pulp hero stepping out of the page.

Then came her ritual. Nova raised one open palm high toward the rafters, fingers spread wide, as though she were drawing down the very energy of the cosmos. The lights dimmed, focusing a glow of a single spotlight around her as she held the pose, face upturned, expression earnest. With a deliberate roll of her shoulders, she brought her hand back to her chest, pressing it to her heart, pretending to absorb that cosmic power into herself.

The gesture was sharp, dramatic, in its precision, yet played with complete sincerity. To the crowd, it wasn’t arrogance. It was inspiration. A heroine charging herself with the same light she promised to fight with. Her steely blue eyes fixed themselves on Gabriel, her head tilting ever so slightly at her choice of seating along the ropes. "From the edge of the galaxy to the center of this ring, Justice has called to me, and I have answered. Tell me, what calling brings you before me tonight?"

They were right—Nova Steele was the complete opposite of Gabriel.

That pinkette entered the arena without any fanfare. Steady, humble, and beautiful. Her toned body was wrapped in a beautiful leotard that matched her peaceful presence. And she didn't need to strike a pose to be noticed as the answer to all those who longed for order.

Before the green eyes of the dramatic punk villain, the superheroine did much better. Too well, so much so that she captured all of Gabriel's senses. The blonde was already biting her nail as that supernova entered the ring. Eager to finally touch her.

It wasn't just her firmness and confidence that had Gabriel in her hands, but her control over everyone! Nova Steele was able to subtly engage the audience with her presence before she even spoke. And without getting lost in the overwhelming presence, she entered the ring with a somersault over the ropes, ending with a thunderous and direct superhero drop that shook the canvas to the feet of her antagonist.

Incredible, simply incredible. The viper's eyes had widened, drawn to such a woman. The Brit girl went from biting her nail to sucking her fingertip as that woman imposed herself with the temperament of an unbeatable champion—and this personal touch: that ritual where she draws all that hope into her outstretched hand before planting it in her own heart. It was intimidating; she didn't even have to say a word or give her a dirty look, just be sincere, as sincere as a real hero should be. And Gabriel was almost blinded by her light. Although for the calculating blonde, that feeling was more like excitement than fear.

Nova gave a curious, or perhaps confused, look to Gabriel, who remained seated on the ropes throughout this instance. The blonde responded by greeting her with a flirtatious rattle of her fingers in the air, then she jumped up from her seat to respond to her speech.

She had to admit that this woman with beautiful pink hair, even when she spoke, flowed like a demigod. Now the Monsterheel had to play along or ruin what could be her best fight. Just because she really liked the aura this woman emanated, like a Big Bang.

Looking up at the sky, she murmured lazily.

"Why did it call you?..." She said thoughtfully. She caressed her lower lip with her finger. This was serious... so much so that she felt a need to be very frank with Steele.

In the blink of an eye, she redirected her gaze to the beautiful blue eyes in front of her:

"For The Chaos, Love. And for me." The audience roared at that last part.

Vinlee narrowed her eyelids, making her green eyes shine like two capricious little stars. Then she proceeded to walk with her fists on her hips until she stood in front of that woman. Waiting for the sound of the bell. Nova Steele was a few centimetres taller than her. Centimetres that now seemed like metres due to the gap in character between the two, but that did not mean that one of them was weaker than the other. It just meant that someone had to climb high, or that the other one would fall deep tonight.

"Or did I need to do something bad first to summon the most powerful hero in the cosmos?" She was more despotic with those words, smiling wickedly before acting.

*Ding Ding Ding*

The bell rang, and Gabriel immediately slid one leg back as she raised her arms. If nothing happened against her, she would be inviting this titan to a Test-Of-Strength!

"If there's anything I need to know about you, now is a great time to tell me." She whispered. Because I don't feel like being gentle with your body." Added. And I want to find out all your secrets, you phoney," She concluded.

She knew nothing about Nova Steele, but if life had taught her anything, it was that the purer a person seemed, the more they had to hide. Perhaps today would not be the night Gabriel was wrong.

Her piercing blue eyes locked with Gabriel’s sharp green ones, light colliding with shadow in the squared circle. Across from her stood a woman who embodied chaos. Dangerous, intoxicating, unpredictable, beauty found within the untamed corners of the cosmos.. The kind of allure that could unravel the weak. Nova did not waver.

“Chaos is a temptress,”
she declared, her voice cutting clean and strong. “She lures with promises of freedom, but under her maddening gaze, no order can survive. You would see the world collapse to serve only yourself? That, I cannot abide.”

Nova stepped forward with deliberate grace, every movement a study in control. Her hips swayed subtly with each stride, shoulders rolling back to present the proud line of her chest. She was no menace, no tyrant, but her athletic frame, long legs that rippled with power, a core tight with discipline, arms sculpted yet elegant, made her presence feel heavier than any threat. She was spectacle made flesh: a heroine shining against the shadows Gabriel wore so proudly.

“Your very presence speaks of ruin.” Nova pressed on, her voice resonant and commanding. She spread her arms wide, letting the crowd roar at the sight of her. “But I am virtue. I am tomorrow. The night will never swallow the dawn, not so long as I draw breath.”

When the final echoes of the bell lingered in the air, Nova lifted her arms high, answering Gabriel’s challenge head-on. She thrust her palms forward, seizing the freshly minted villainess’s hands in a bone-tight grip. Fingers laced, the test of strength began.

“Come then!” she proclaimed, her voice rising with a heroic cry as her muscles flexed and tensed beneath the tight cut of her gear. Her thighs coiled with power, her chest lifted proudly as she leaned in, bringing the full weight of her sculpted frame to bear. “You will find Justice is no gentle hand. It is both shield and sword, and neither bend nor break!

Gabriel would quickly feel the truth of it: Nova’s beauty was matched only by the strength behind it. At first, their locked hands held even, muscles straining, shoulders trembling as neither woman yielded an inch. Every line of Nova’s frame spoke of honed discipline and undeniable might. However, Nova had size and weight to draw upon, and she leaned it into their clash to try and overwhelm the blond and take control of their engagement.

Nova had a rather unique touch with words. She wasn't your typical babyface; she seemed like one, but she wasn't. Every chivalrous sentence that came out of her mouth warmed the heart and ignited honour and determination in everyone, including her villain.

Vinlee expected to come up against some limit with Steele, but instead, she dazzled all the walls surrounding this character's spirit. Layers and layers of honourable steel defending her heart. And because of that, something in Gabriel fluttered like a flame as the challenge took shape. It started out tiny, like a spark, but with every sentence from that pinkette, something deep inside her began to feed that flower of fire bite by bite.

When their fingers intertwined for the test of strength, the pinkette's vigour cracked the grip at the same time as Gabriel's fingers responded.

She hadn't felt like this in a long time... Perhaps she had become too impressionable over the years, or perhaps Nova Steele had a knack for inspiring everyone, even her most antagonistic opponents. But the act remained the same:

The villainess was not going to back down or hesitate because of how impressive it was to see that titanic bodybuilder tense every muscle within that tight, beautiful leotard in front her face. The best challenge.

It wasn't just precise in every micro-muscle movement; Nova Steele had a knack for making everything impressive, even a simple grip. How come this lady isn't a presenter, broadcaster or actress?

The creaking of their gloves crackled, both their hands trembled, and the vigour Gabriel wanted to feel reached her hands to collide with her. And best of all, she hasn't even excited her protagonist yet!

For a moment, she had to stand on tiptoe to match her height.

"Then make my time count," she snorted, biting the air in front of Nova's delicate lips. "Because I'm going to find out how impenetrable you are, little star."

Neither of them backed down at first. The beautiful nightmare matched the avenger like two twin forces. Opposites, yes, but identical. The crowd cheered for their girl, most betting on the Agent of Order. And sooner or later, the tremors between her fingers spread to Gabriel's arms, then to her back, which began to arch. The crowd's howls continued to bombard the ring. The British woman's legs were the next to give way, stumbling a few tiny centimetres.

Now, the eight-centimetre difference was noticeable to Gabriel; her opponent appeared to be growing larger, more powerful, unstoppable, and unchallengeable. And the weight of her opponent began to weigh on her grip. Was she finally losing in a test of strength?

Gabriel knew that sooner or later she would face a woman like her, but she had lost hope because of all her previous opponents. They all become fragile sooner or later. They are all vulnerable. They are made of paper. But Nova Steele was the other side of the coin. That sweetness exuded what Gabriel had sought most: passion and will.

That single thought paralysed Gabriel for an eternal moment, petrifying her with a look of epiphany etched on her angelic face. At last, she had met a real challenge. One that had a name and a body. As palpable as it was coveted. The smile that followed, that huge smile of pleasure that took over her face, was the most genuine gesture she had given anyone since she stepped into the ring.

"Ha..HAHAHA!" She giggled before finally giving in, taking two steps back.

She wasn't going to win. But that didn't mean she was going to let herself be crushed!

The blonde leaned forward, charging at Santa's prospect with all her might before throwing herself backwards. She was aiming to fall backwards onto the canvas and drag Nova down with her!

On the way down, she would place one knee between herself and Nova's bare abdomen, and when her own back touched the canvas, she would stretch both legs against the heroine's stomach to throw her across the ring with a monkey flip!
Spoiler
Image
If she managed to pull it off, she would roll over her new favourite superheroine to sit on their abs and pin their hands to the canvas. It wouldn't be a real hold, but it would be one that would allow her to tease her and make the L.A.W. world howl.

" *Cough, cough* I can’t handle you if you’re gonna stare at me like that all night, love." Gabbie teased in a very melodic tone.

As Gabriel snapped her body back in a sharp motion, she sought to drag the pink haired heroine with her. Was it desperation found within their stalemated lockup, or sheer cunning? All that mattered was if it was successful. For a heartbeat, the momentum shifted, as the mighty blonde playing at being a villainess tried to flip the heroine over her head.

But Nova planted.

Her boots thundered against the canvas, thighs flexing like steel cables as she bent with the motion rather than being thrown by it. Her core cinched tight, every muscle in her stomach and lower back bracing at once. The countermeasure slowed Gabriel’s attempt mid-snap, forcing the would-be flip to stall before it could send Nova sailing.

That didn’t spare her from punishment. Gabriel’s knees had still shot up into her frame, hammering Nova’s midsection. The strikes landed flush, air burst from Nova’s lips with the blow, her abs tensing and shuddering under the assault. She gritted her teeth, chest bowing forward, for a moment rattled despite her stubborn refusal to fold. The pain was real, the pinkette’s power undeniable, but Nova refused to crumble.

“Strong… but not enough,” she hissed through clenched breath, blue eyes flashing with cosmic fire she claimed to hold inside her.

Instead of being toppled, her hands clamped down around Gabriel’s thighs, knuckles whitening with the force of her grip. In a single motion she dropped her hips and surged upward, harnessing her raw power to deadlift her opponent off the mat. Her back arched, lats spread, abs pulled tight as she hoisted Gabriel high overhead, attempting to pop the blond up onto her shoulder, head between her parted legs.

The audience erupted as Nova stood tall, a living silhouette of strength and resolve, sweat glistening across the ridges of her muscles as she bore the weight. She drew in a ragged breath, her chest heaving, but her footing never faltered. Gabriel was afforded only a moment to react as Nova adjusted her stance, clamping down to secure them both upright.

If the blond was unable to respond quickly enough, the heroine let out a fierce cry, her voice cutting through the roar of the crowd. Justice had denied the chaos its triumph and now, Nova Steele sought to drive it into the canvas with a thunderous powerbomb. If she managed to hit the move, she would lean in, folding Gabriel up on the mat to lay her weight along the back of her legs, going straight for a pinfall attempt from the point of impact.

When Gabriel realised she hadn't rolled across the canvas, also realised that she had made a mistake in her plan...

And when she realized where he had gone wrong, it was too late to correct it.

The Brit had closed the physical gap by using her opponent's size and torque to her advantage. She wanted to turn her world upside down. And she succeeded in pushing her back at the end of the struggle, putting one knee on the heroine's abs and leaning back to let Steele's strength do the rest, empowering her with her own strength to ensure both the knee to those abs and the throw to Steele to the other side of the ring with the monkey flip. However, when the contact between her own back and the canvas never came, realising too late that she was actually just hanging from Nova's portentous body, with her own back inches from the canvas and nothing else, had barely bent that statuesque woman, Gabbie knew that something had gone horribly wrong. And her face revealed it all, her eyes filled with horror and realisation.

Her knee had managed to bend those abs inward, eliciting a deep gasp from the beautiful pinkette, but nothing more! The monkey flip that had flipped so many opponents in L.A.W. had just been stopped halfway!

Oh my God, she screamed mentally before Nova showed her how it's done.

The words the pinkette said to her next sealed her tragedy. ‘Enough!’ is something you say at the end, before you subdue someone naughty. And Nova did not disappoint with her punishment!

Vinlee could do nothing to prevent her world from spinning! She was rolled upwards and placed on top of the pink star. Again, barely understanding that she was sitting on Nova Steele's shoulders with their head tucked into her skirt, which made her blush profusely, while she could only grab the head of this virtuous babyface. Pure instinct, no strategy.

"GeeeEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZ"

Her curse turned into an incredibly high-pitched scream as she descended like a roller coaster, straight towards being smashed against the canvas. And the worst part was that she couldn't watch it happen, only feel. Her golden hair floated before hanging upwards, and her howl was cut short by the impact of her spine with the ring!
Spoiler

Gabriel's upper back was the first to hit the canvas, her head following after, bouncing off the L.A.W. logo. Her gaze filled with a white flash, and her body became still. Each arm bounced, landing on her elbows before collapsing around her head. Spectators opened their mouths in surprise when they saw that Nova achieved—didn't even add a jump to this impact!—She simply bent forward, using the strength of her arms and back to increase the speed of gravity and nothing else, and that was enough to pacify the problem in front of her.
Spoiler
Image
The blonde's eyes had closed, her face became that of a peaceful sleeper, and her fingers crackled. She seemed unconscious in those seconds, and the cosmic heroine took advantage of it to bend her over her neck, bringing Gabriel's knees against her shoulders without this golden nightmare being able to do anything about it. The villain was locked in a Pretzel Pin. Showing how flexible and manageable she is when treated properly, and how good the cosmic heroine looks on top of a villain.

Vinlee did not react; she seemed comfortable.

The referee immediately lay down on the canvas and tapped the mat!

"One!" They counted. Gabriel didn't even turn her head.

"Two!" They continued. The queen opened okey eye slightly, looking over her own chest, and finding those excessively fierce and bright blue eyes crossing between her legs, looking at her like a predator does when it is about to finish you off, something defiant ignited in Gabriel to defend herself

The referee was about to deliver the third blow when Gabriel kicked out. She wasn't going to let her! She wasn't ready to give away a match like this just because she liked her opponent.

The arena shook with the roar of impact. Nova had bent gravity itself to her will, muscles rippling in perfect harmony as she hoisted the Brit high above her shoulders. For a fleeting heartbeat, Gabriel was perched precariously, the heated exhales of the straining heroine washing warmly against her thighs. Nova’s fingers curled tighter into the hem of the blonde’s skirt, the fabric riding higher as she gave one last tug, baring the vulnerable curve of her legs before snapping her hips to haul the villainess higher still.

Then came the descent.

With a sharp pull and a controlled bend of her spine, Nova brought her down hard, driving Gabriel into the canvas with a devastating powerbomb. The sound cracked like thunder, body against mat reverberating through the rafters. The entire ring trembled beneath the blow, ropes rattling as if the cosmos themselves had answered Nova’s call.

The heroine lingered upright, chest rising and falling with a steady rhythm, sweat glistening across the sleek lines of her shoulders and collarbone. Her gear clung to the swell of her chest and the trim cut of her waist, her body radiating strength but carrying it with the quiet, effortless beauty of someone born to shine in the spotlight. She was every bit the heroine she proclaimed herself to be, commanding, dazzling, and impossibly alluring under the glow of the lights.

But she wasn’t finished.

With precision, Nova folded Gabriel’s limp form upward, forcing her opponent’s legs high across her chest. The Brit’s backside lifted off the canvas, golden hair fanned out beneath her as her supple frame bent nearly double. Nova leaned low into the hold, her hips pressing snugly forward, her palms sliding firmly into the crook of Gabriel’s knees to keep her stacked. It was a perfect pretzel pin, powerful, domineering, but laced with a visual intimacy that drew gasps from the crowd.

Gabriel lay pinned beneath her, arched back and flushed, while Nova loomed above with blue eyes that burned like twin stars, every taut line of her body exuding both control and allure. She was strength and beauty entwined, an irresistible image of power that felt as inescapable as the hold itself.

The crowd erupted, some chanting alongside the referee's count, others simply caught breathless by the spectacle. Was this it? Was it over already over? Could chaos truly be subdued so quickly?

Not yet.

With a sudden surge, Gabriel’s legs snapped upward, shoving with raw desperation. Nova’s weight lifted from her chest just enough for the villainess to roll a shoulder clear. The heroine exhaled through her nose, a sharp huff that carried both frustration and admiration. Straightening, she released her grip and stepped back, letting Gabriel’s body spill free across the mat with a quiet thud of limp limbs unfurling.

The heroine took a measured step back, watching the blonde quietly. She stood tall, sweat-sheened skin catching the light, a statuesque figure of raw virtue and undeniable allure. She loomed over Gabriel with the poise of someone who had no need to rush her conquest. Blue eyes glinted with challenge as she waited, almost daring her rival to rise again. She could have easily continued the attack, but the heroine refused to pounce in this moment and only provided a silent vigil to the blonde's rise back to her feet.

The blonde managed to shake off the woman, rolling a few steps before coming to rest on one knee and one hand on the canvas. And although she survived the first attempt, she couldn't recover right away. The back of her neck hurt and her back was sore.

The queen was also panting as she rubbed the back of her neck and took her time. Her instincts screamed that something would happen to her at any moment for staying down, as had happened thousands of times before when she had been tackled while on the ground, vulnerable, dazed, and open to a brutal blow. But she really needed time.

Even her balance was affected. It wasn't the first time she had been slammed to the floor, but it was the first time she had felt a force like that of this pinkette. If she hadn't just met her, she would assume that Nova Steele had something against her.

However, no attack came. Gabriel had the permissive time to move all her hair to one side, process the most painful power bomb she had ever received at the start of any fight in her career, and regain control of her entire being. She waited for the canvas to calm down, because it was still throbbing before her eyes. She was going to consume every second of Steele's patience to recover.

Her golden hair was a beautiful curtain that blocked her view of her opponent's patient prowess; however, she could feel her blue gaze ardently piercing the back of her neck. And that feeling of danger was so exciting... Her fingers scratched the canvas as she felt the tension in the air.

After a minute, Gabriel was ready to return, but only so that Nova could take her. The blonde wanted to see how patient that woman really was. The boos and complaints from the crowd about her lethargy and the referee's insistent questions about her condition were only distractions; Gabriel ignored them, focused on the shadow of her virtuous opponent. However, Nova did not move from her spot, and Gabriel was not going to be so rude as to wait two minutes on the canvas.

Instead, the queen got up a minute and a half after falling, staggering theatrically. The clamor of complaints about the lack of fighting fell on her for being slow, however, with the last rub on her neck, the blonde cracked her neck to release all her muscles, silencing most with her vibe when she shook her head to send all her long hair behind her, like a whip, and ignited the intensity by opening her bright green eyes against the virtuous prodigy waiting for her.

She turned her shoulders back and puffed out her chest to match the temperament of that beautiful woman. It wasn't fair; she made her wait, not reciprocating her intensity seemed inconsiderate to Gabriel.

And if Nova was playing this seriously...

With a snort, her condescending smile appeared.

So Gabriel was going to play rough.

The space between them seemed to be consumed between the blue and the green of the ladies. The crowd slowly sat back down, eagerly awaiting what seemed to be promised, while the Villain raised her hands to invite her to a new Test-Of-Strength again.

Nova stood motionless in the center of the ring, her blue eyes fixed on Gabriel as the blonde writhed and stalled, teasing the crowd who came to watch a fight. The audience’s patience started to fray though; voices rose in jeers and shouts, demanding action, calling on one woman or the other to strike. Yet Nova did not move. She waited, silent, arms loose at her sides, the very image of control.

Her chest lifted and fell evenly, her stoic presence a sharp contrast to the queen’s stagger as she rose. Nova had no need to chase nor smother the dark flame that was Gabriel, the blond had no place to escape to within this sacred battleground.
When Gabriel finally stood, cracking her neck, whipping her golden hair back in a dazzling arc, Nova’s voice broke through the noise, calm but edged like steel.

“Do you wish to continue down this dark path… or do you now understand that chaos will always be made to yield under the weight of order?”

The crowd roared at the words, sensing the weight behind them. Gabriel’s answer came not in speech but in posture: her shoulders squared, her chest thrust forward, and that familiar, condescending smile carved across her lips as she raised her hands, offering the test of strength once again.

Nova drew in a long breath, her eyes narrowing. Then, with the smallest shake of her head, she sighed.

“So… you have chosen oblivion. So be it. My hand will not be stayed again.”

She stepped forward and raised her own arms, seeking to lace her fingers with Gabriel’s. But this time, there was no patience, no restraint. From the instant their hands clasped, Nova poured her strength into the lock-up, surging forward with raw, unrelenting force, intent on crushing the queen’s defiance beneath the weight of order made flesh.
