It was an earlier match on the card - the placement typically reserved for smaller-scale spectacles, the likes that would debut newcomers to a promotion or give some lesser names on the roster some time to shine. Indeed, one of the women in this match would be making her debut tonight. The other one, Sakuri Kunikai, had a couple of matches to her name - and she'd gotten the eyes of a few fans when she had the body of a gravure idol and the cheerful disposition of a high school upperclassman, both of which she was - but she still wasn't anywhere close to the main event yet. Sakuri wasn't going to let that stop her, though. She'd get there one day. Any match was an opportunity for her to get her name out there - and besides, she needed the paycheck.

"Coming first to the ring, from Hakodate, Japan! At 4'9, weighing 109 pounds, SAKURIIIII KUNIKAAAAAAAI!!"

As Sakuri's name was called, she stepped out through the curtains and onto the top of the entrance ramp, an eager grin on her face as she waved to the crowd. She hopped up and down a few times, pumping her fist in the air, before she made her way down the aisle and slid through the ropes. There, she took a moment to stretch, preparing herself for the match ahead of her.
