Allen Riley vs. Aoi Sonozaki - Burning Determination

Her last match ended with such a loss that Allen had to take a break for a couple months or so. She had to focus on improving herself before she felt she could return back into the ring. Now, she was ready to take on another opponent, and she was determined to win this one and improve her standing in LAW. From what she had heard, her opponent for tonight would make her debut here in LAW, and she wanted to be the one winning this one instead of feeding a newcomer an easy win.

Upon receiving her cue, the British daredevil made her entrance, her music playing from the loudspeakers. The crowd cheered as Allen finally returned to LAW, and she raised her arms as she made her way to the ring, walking down the ramp. She was wearing her signature pink outfit with black flames. Once she reached the ring, she posed for the crowd some more, giving the audience in the arena and at home quite a show before she climbed up the apron and entered the ring.

Upon entering the squared circle, Allen would do some stretches, showing off her body for everyone to see. While she didn't put much emphasis on it, she was actually proud of her own body, and she would put it through the test for tonight's match. Of course, wearing such a skimpy wrestling outfit would certainly draw a lot of attentions, which was pretty normal in LAW and wrestling industry, all things considered. And once she finished with her stretches, she would wait for her opponent to show up.

Aoi was new to this. She was no stranger to fighting sure and she definetly wasn't new to the art of wrestling, however...this whole showbusiness of LAW stuff was...new. Still, the readhead advanced.
Her entrance wasn't particulary flashy, a couple spectators who were closer to the ramp saw that she had actually jumped a little once her theme song resonated in the arena clearly surprised at the sudden sound. It was a small incident though, easily overseen by many and only noticed by a minority and she was able to continue up to the ring rather confidently.

Dressed rather modestly compared to her opponent, a sleveless white shirt and blue jeans clearly a more conservative attire overall. Although she had a nice opening in the low part of her shirt that exposed her navel.
Due to being in general a new name in the pro wrestling scene, her entrance wasn't received with any particular attention although someone clearly had cheered complimenting her looks. Cheap attention in her opinion, she will gain much more worth by defeating her opponent tonight.
Speaking of which...

"I've heard that this is your first match in a while Miss Allen."

Began the readhead as she made her way into the ring.

"Report I've seen say that the cause for your momentary retirement was a defeat. So fell free to call the match at any time if you fell like you can't continue." She spoke with sincerity and resolution, they were relatively close in age, but this woman was still a colleague in her opinion and a possible, very repetant student of hers in her mind, so she felt that she had a responsability to uphold in making sure that the action was conducted as safely as possible compared to her usual violent approach.

Allen narrowed her eyes as she listened to what her opponent said. It was clear that she was trying to get into her head. Still, Allen retained her cool and shook her head. Whatever mind game this woman was playing, she had no intention of playing along.

"You're mistaken..." Allen said, standing her ground. "I didn't retire. I just took a break to improve myself, that is all." She gave a pointed look at Aoi, making it clear that she wasn't going to be demoralized by whatever she was playing here.

"Now, enough talk..." Allen said, rolling her shoulders. "Show me what you got." She was ready for the match. The referee would get between them to see if they were ready. After that, the bell was rung, starting the match between both Allen and Aoi.

To start off the match, Allen would try to go for a quick and sudden attack, where she would try to deliver a low kick right at Aoi's leg. She wanted to see how the other woman would react to the attack so that she could plan accordingly.

"I see." The readhead nodded, atlhough she doesn't seem that much convinced. Umbeknowst to her opponent, this was due to genuine concern towards the prospect of this match resulting in an hindering of the other woman carreer.

''Still, let me know if you want to call it, ok? If the action gets too intense for you, I mean...
After all, it's your first match on return." Again, she said so with calm and somewhat sympathetic concern even as she got stanced up ready for the match to begin.
Once the bell rung, the western woman decided to go for a low kick, Aoi having a background in such forms of close quarter combat knew how to defend from such a maneuver and especially how to time right her defense so that the counter could be devastating, she lifted her targeted leg bending her knee to form a ninty degree following Allen's movement and letting her shin impact against the scantly cladded woman's one, forcing her to suffer more because of her attack due to ramming in an hard part of the body while in momentum.

If Allen would recoil stunned, Aoi would proceed to counterattack semmingly going for a chop to the throath in order to make her opponent raise her guard high only to reveal a faint as she would try to instead connect with a gut punch with her other hand.

Allen's eyebrow twitched. She didn't like the implication of this. She wasn't some rookie who would break even from a slight bump. She opted to not say anything to that as she would focus on the match.

When the match started, she tried to deliver a kick, but her opponent went for a kick of her own, and their legs met. Allen gritted her teeth from the collision, and she would try to hop back as she would try to recover, only to see her opponent going for a chop.

Thankfully, Allen was quick enough to react to this, so she would bring her arms up to block the incoming chop aimed at her throat. Then she would pull back, favoring one foot before straightening up. Then, she would assume a stance as she would carefully reassess her situation.

As her opponent recoiled back after her counteroffense Aoi flashed a small grin of satisfaction, not a bad start for either of them to be fair. She raised her fists high, her guard and stance semmingly without leaving any opening.

"Very good miss Allen, your reflexes are impeccable. I was going for the jugular there." She jokingly added at the end as she while started to advance towards the other woman, not attempting any moves, merely trying to drive her opponent into a corner.

Bracing herself for whatever was coming next, Allen was then pushed towards the corner by Aoi, and she gritted her teeth as she would try to regain her bearing. She would let herself be pushed towards the corner by her opponent, and as they got closer to the turnbuckle, Allen would try to twist around, exchanging positions with Aoi so that the other woman would end up being at the turnbuckle and not her.

Since they headed towards the turnbuckle without any kind of hurry or momentum, Aoi finding herself facing the corner didn't actually gain any kind of reaction out of the readhead, except a small smile popping on her lips as she noted to compliment Allen for her egregious movement.
Having followed the other woman move with her eyes, Aoi knew the general direction of where Allen was likely located, despite her now being at her back. As such, the japanease decided to retaliate with an elbow right on her chest!

Allen managed to get them to switch positions so that Aoi would be the one to end up at the corner. But before she could make use of this, she suddenly took a hit to her chest. Aoi had just struck her with her elbow!

"NGH!!"

Wincing, Allen gritted her teeth before she tried to retaliate with an attack of her own, targeting Aoi's chest with a forearm smash. Considering that her opponent was at the corner, she would be the one cornered here, and Allen planned to take advantage of this.

The readhead let a little smirk grasp her lips as she had managed to flip off her opponent.
Momentarily that is...

"Ghkk..."

Aoi found herself smashed with her back against the corner, sending a little vibration on the upper ropes as Allen retailiated.
The teacher was not momentarily stunned, still grunting in pain from the attack that made her squint one of her eyes.
