”Annie Clark”

Annie has had an exciting LAW career so far, taking on Veterans and Newcomers, Heavyweights and Lightweights, and all sorts of opponents that she has hit a Powerbomb or Muscle Buster on. But Annie knew she had to prepare her body extra hard for her match tonight against esteemed veteran Tiki Lowell, someone who has wrestled a lot longer than her, and has probably wrestled opponents similar to her in a lot of ways. Annie knew she needed to lift those dumbbells, stretch her muscles, and make sure she was as physically fit as possible for the match, as her strength will probably be the main way she can beat Tiki.

Lifting those dumbbells, Annie knew that a lot of people will be looking at her performance through the match, to determine if she could be a future champion, or someone on the Fraud Watch. She was determined to win this, to make an impression across LAW and to Tiki that she will not go down so easily.

The LAW Official knocked at her door, alerting Annie that the ring was set and that the match was indeed ready to begin. Annie nodded with a smile that could infatuate anyone on her face before heading out to the ring.


The arena turned bright orange, and Annie made her way down to the ring, marching down while slapping hands with some fans who wanted to greet her. Annie wanted to come out and give the crowd a show. Annie walked up the steel steps and underneath the middle rope into the ring. She then climbed onto the middle rope in her corner and waved to the crowd.


Annie then headed to her corner, and waited for her esteemed opponent to make her entrance, a confident smile across the Southerners face.

Tiki Lowell

Tiki Lowell recognized this match for what it was: a trap match. Annie Clark was a wrestler that most unbiased sources would tell you that a top veteran like Tiki should be able to beat quite handily. Even if the redhead was past her rookie phase, the greenette still had decades of experience over Annie with an elite pedigree of victories to match. Not to mention enough of a size advantage that the two were practically an entire weight class apart. With Tiki being at the heavy end of Middleweight compared to Annie being at the heavy end of Lightweight.

The common nature of a trap match was that the underdog fighter had one special trait in particular that was capable of carrying them to victory if a couple things went their way here and there. Most people, upon hearing this explanation, would acknowledge this as indeed being a trap match for Tiki, citing Annie's Heavyweight-class power as her special trait, and stop there.

But Tiki saw Annie's profile as a wrestler to be deeper than that. After all, if immense strength was all it took, than any powerhouse wrestler could constitute as a trap opponent. What gave the veteran cause for concern was what she would describe as Annie's controlled power. A 115 pound frame with enough strength to slam opponent's 3 times her weight, and Annie was able to handle that with perfect control

Annie being able to control that sheer volume of strength allowed her to do so much more than just hit hard. With a Heavyweight's legs carrying a Lightweight's body, the farmgirl could move at dangerous speeds. Annie was more than her physical attributes as well. She was no dumb brute firing off haymaker after haymaker, relying on her physicality to make enough land for her to win. Annie had skill and technique that allowed her to truly use her power. In Tiki's mind, this was only a trap match because the populace at large at yet to realize what Annie was really capable of. To the veteran, this was a match between two wrestlers who deserved to be in the ring with each other based on wrestling ability alone.

Music

Tiki's music came on, and she made her entrance, calmly walking from the stage to the ring, letting her cape flow behind her as she went. With grace and poise, she stepped into the ring and removed her cape, letting it fall into her corner behind her. "Greetings, Ms. Clark," said Tiki. "I'm familiar with your wrestling. I find your combination of powerful physical attributes with such a compact build to be both unique and impressive. I look forward to experiencing it firsthand." Tiki chose her words carefully so as to not refer to Annie as "small," as an attempt to address her opponent with respect.

Annie looked at Tiki with a friendly smile, she seemed generally nicer then a lot of the wrestlers she had faced before in LAW and actually seemed to show some genuine respect for the powerhouse farm girl. Annie was well aware of her status as a betting underdog, and as someone who has always been an underdog all her life, it was just another days work.

“Thank you Miss Lowell. I’ll be sure to show you my power partner.” Annie said as she pointed to her toned bicep, looking to show her strength. This was a big match for Annie, a chance to really stamp her ground in LAW and wrestling in general.

Annie headed back to her corner, and waited for the bell to ring.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rang and Annie headed to the center of the ring, before motioning for a test of strength, looking to engage directly with her veteran opposition.

"And of course, I intend to show you my skill and technique," Tiki said in response to Annie's declaration. Shortly thereafter, the bell was rung. Playing to her strength, the redhead was quickly trying to engage the veteran into a lockup. Tiki's face remained neutral, but she was internally raising an eyebrow at Annie's attempt.

Not a chance I'm going for that, Tiki thought at the sight of Annie's attempt to engage. Entering into a test of strength against somebody with the word 'Powerhouse' in their moniker was simply an act of thoughtlessness. The only possible justification for doing so would be if Tiki was expecting Annie to expect the veteran to go for something tricky, and then decided to try going the extra layer deeper and playing the position straight to outthink Annie in turn. But the opening moments of a match was far too early to be trying to go that deep with mind games.

So instead Tiki would go for some good ol' fashioned misdirection. She'd act as if she was going to accept the test of strength, but once the veteran was only a few inches away from locking up, she'd quickly shoot her right arm out and around Annie's hand, instead trying to grab the redhead's wrist. Then Tiki would push Annie's left arm down and in towards her body and try to come around onto the Lightweight's left side, which would be left near defenseless if the veteran could successfully bypass Annie's arm.

Tiki had been truthful when she said she wanted to experience Annie's strength for herself, but the veteran also knew that not letting the redhead show off her power was her safest option to win. So the veteran would go big right out of the gate to try to win before Annie even had the chance to get going, and it would not be gentle. As Tiki came around Annie's body, she'd make use of her height advantage to bring an elbow strike straight down onto the top of her opponent's red head to keep her too stunned to stop Tiki from going all the way behind her and continuing her attack.

Tiki would bust out a combination that she'd gone for before, and had found it effective enough to elevate to Signature Move status for the first time. She'd wrap her arms around Annie's waist, lift her up, and then slam her right back down crotch first onto her knee for an Atomic Drop. But where many stopped here, Tiki went a step further. Lifting the Lightweight back up again, the veteran would slam her backwards with a German Suplex. A combination that she had dubbed the Draconic Atom Bomb.

Yet again, where most wrestlers stopped, Tiki pushed further in the name of fighting as best as she could. The veteran didn't like the pin that you defaulted into after landing a German Suplex. She felt it didn't put enough weight on the victim and gave them too much bodily agency. Tiki had a few things that she liked to do from this position, but for this instance, the greenette would turn herself over and shifted her hands from Annie's waist to her thighs. Then Tiki would throw her body forward, her breasts sliding over Annie's butt and coming down on top of her thighs as the veteran's hands slid further up the Lightweight's legs, putting her into a Matchbook Pin. Annie's legs were dangling up over her body from the Suplex, but now Tiki had them pressed and folded down over the redhead's body properly with the Matchbook Pin. It was very early, but Tiki was hoping that the blows she had dealt to Annie's head and crotch would leave her too stunned and in pain to gather herself and fight out before the ref's count hit three. "My apologies," she'd say. "But I wouldn't be where I am today if I freely accepted tests of strength against women of your reputation and caliber."

Annie was hoping for a relatively straightforward test of strength, and hoped that Tiki would engage in letting Annie show how strong she was, the smol Powerhouse moniker was far from a lie. Sadly for her, it seemed Tiki had other plans.

When Annie and Tiki got close, Annie smiled, thinking she was going to have her test of strength with Tiki, but then Tiki grabbed her arm in one swift motion. “HEY! LET GO!” Annie yelled in frustration, seemingly unable to get her arm loose as Tiki moved around with ease.

And then before she could figure out, Tiki elbowed her in the back of the head, causing Annie to hold her in pain, basically being stunned for the moment. Not being able to do anything before she was lifted and dropped on her crotch and Tiki’s knee.

Annie’s face turned bright red, and she screamed “AAAAH!” at the insane amount of pain she felt, but before her scream could even finish, Tiki dropped her with a German Suplex and eventually matchbook pinned her.

Annie was basically out cold right now, and with Tiki having an incredible amount of leverage, this seems like a near instant loss for the smol Powerhouse.

But just before the referee’s hand could slap the mat a third time, Annie finally came back to her senses, and with all her force, attempted to push Tiki off her using her legs and break the pin up.

Tiki had thought that she had managed to put Annie to sleep when she looked down at her glazed eyes and drooping face. The fact that the powerhouse wasn't fighting against the pin at all served to convince the veteran of that anymore. By no means was Tiki going to let up until she heard the bell ring, but she wasn't exactly expecting to face significant resistance.

So it was suffice to say that Tiki was more than a little surprised when Annie suddenly came to life and unfolded her body like it was a spring releasing tension as the redhead threw the larger woman off of her. "My my," Tiki said. "Well I'd say you taking the full force of my attack and still surviving the pin justifies my decision to go all out right away."

"And don't think I'll go any easier from here," Tiki said as she began to charge back in. With Annie still on the mat, the veteran would go for the redhead's legs and try to lock her into a Figure Four Leglock. But even if Tiki got it, she wasn't expecting to have it for long. She knew full well the farmgirl was more than strong enough to reverse the hold. In fact, Tiki was counting on it.

When Tiki felt Annie begin to attempt to reverse the Figure Four Leglock, the veteran would immediately bail out on her hold and let Annie roll onto her stomach by herself. If this happened, Tiki would then jump onto the Lightweight's back and put her into a Rear Naked Chokehold. If Annie instead just crawled on her elbows to the ropes, well then Tiki didn't really have much to do about that. She'd just take what damage she could before the powerhouse forced a rope break.

Annie was extremely gutsy, and if there was something that anyone who had managed to defeat her in a match was basically having to near kill her. She can take a hell of a beating, and that early combo fo moves from the Veteran known as Tiki Lowell probably would have beaten any othe rookie or young wrestler.

Even if it did near defeat her, Annie still managed to kick out at 2.9, as the crowd cheered and roared in approval. Now laying on her back, she slammed her fists on the mat as a way to pep herself up, get her motivation and energy going.

All of a sudden, she felt her leg being grabbed. “OH NAW YOU DON’T!” Annie yelled as she attempt to shove Tiki off backwards, eventually causing Tiki to give up, before Tiki switched over and put her in a Rear Naked Choke.

“AAAGH!” Annie screamed as she felt her air start to leave her body, and she started to use her hands and attempt to push herself backwards towards the ropes to break the hope, and hopefully escape the opening onslaught she had been taking.

Though Tiki managed to get Annie's legs in her hands, the powerhouse kicked and fought hard enough that the veteran was unable to lock in the Figure Four Leglock as she had desired. But luckily, Annie had thrashed so hard to do so that she rolled herself over onto her stomach anyway, so Tiki was still able to drop down and lock the farm girl into a Rear Naked Chokehold.

What Annie did next was what Tiki had been expecting; she began making for the ropes. But the way in which the Lightweight chose to do it confounded the veteran. Rather than forwards, Annie began crawling backwards, seemingly intending to use her foot to establish the robe break. As far as Tiki could tell, it was an objectively slower and less intuitive way to try to get to the ropes, so she didn't know why Annie was doing it like this.

Tiki also believed that Annie's method of trying to get a rope break had an even more significant flaw which the veteran thought had a chance to extend an offensive which she had originally been willing to accept the end of. Once the redheaded wrestler got close to the ropes, Tiki would quickly spring up to a seated position as she turned around, then try to grab Annie's legs to lock her into a Boston Crab. If it worked, Annie wouldn't be able to move backwards anymore, and if the farm girl went forward, then she'd have to cover the entire length of the ring to reach the ropes on the other side.

Annie sometimes does not think straight when she’s under pressure, always wanting to take action first before wasting her mental energy on thinking. She tried to move backwards, hoping to use her legs to clip the bottom ring rope and force an end to the submission, even though heading forward would probably be a better option.

Sadly, for Annie, that plan would be stopped in it’s tracks, as Tiki got up and attempted to grab Annie’s legs in an attempt to put her in a Boston Crab.

“NO!” Annie screamed, not wanting to be put in another submission, so almost immediately she attempted to use the soles of her boots to push Tiki back and fend her off.

She needed to get off the backfoot and start establishing herself and her offense.

Tiki unquestionably possessed advantages in skill and technique over Annie, but the American's raw power seemed up to the task of closing the gap well enough to keep her from getting overwhelmed. As veteran tried to punish the younger wrestler for her mistake with a Boston Crab, Annie worked her legs hard enough to push Tiki back and knock her off balance, sending her tumbling backwards.

With Tiki having been stood over Annie, the greenette nearly landed butt first on the back of the farmgirl's red head. But sadly, Tiki wouldn't catch that break as she landed just past Annie, putting her crotch right in the Lightweight's face, yet not actually making any contact. The greenette's legs landed on either side of Annie's body, leaving the smol powerhouse surrounded on three sides.

Assessing the options and working quickly, Tiki would try to grab Annie's head and lift it up before sliding herself forward. The veteran would then let Annie down, her neck resting on Tiki's crotch, before the greenette would try to lift her legs up and wrap them around the powerhouse's throat, hoping to lock her into a Triangle Headscissor.
