L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Match Type: Standard

Hilda would be out in the open, sitting on a box crate. She had a notepad on her as she was writing down her material in it. This was something the Canadian star does as she first studies her opponent before writing down her material to use against her opponent during their match. She was seen reciting her jokes out loud and asking herself if they’re good or not.

“So you’re both a Scotswoman and a Patty. Must be a beast at drinking double your body weight. … Yeah. I think I can use that. Now what can I joke about a penal colony? I can’t really say anything about that since I don’t think she’s much of an Australian. Maybe a joke about the I.R.A.? … Nah. I think that’ll be a bit insensitive to joke about the IRA.”

As she was reciting her jokes, Hilda was too busy to even notice her opponent, Lennox, stalking her and watching her recite her jokes to herself. She was probably not making herself a much of a friendly person with the jokes she’s gonna use in their match. However, that would possibly be the least of her problems if her opponent decided to do something about her making jokes about her ethnicity.

Thornette was on a mission to make a mark on LAW and she figured that there was no better way to do that then to showcase her superior aggression at any opportunity. She'd already resolved to attack her opponent before their match began, to hurt her before hand and get into head as well. Which was why she'd been stalking her in the first place.

However, hearing her rehearse what were clearly ethnic jokes at her expense, made her premeditated attack on the woman a little more personal rather than just opportunistic. Having snuck up behind her, Lennox raised both of her fists in the air, clasped them together and spiked them down hard into the back of Hilda's neck where it connected to her shoulders, with all the speed and power she used to hit volleyballs with! She hoped to weaken it ahead of all the truama she had in store for it in their upcoming match.

Hilda didn’t notice Lennox sneaking up behind her as she was then attacked from behind. She dropped her notepad full of joke material for when she was gonna wrestle her attacker as she looked on at who attacked the goose. She then saw Lennox and would be surprised by how accurate her jokes would be based on what she was seeing in front of her. Hilda also held onto the lower part of her neck as it seemed to be where the most pain was located in.

Lennox was not looking for and extended brawl, bjt a quicj engagement that set thw tone for the matvh to come. Looking to make short work of this attack before heading out to the ring, Thornette targeted a powerful stomp kick at Hilda's lower gut, aiming to bend her over. If succesful, she'd quickly wrap her arm around the Canadian goose's neck and fall down sharply backward to the ground for a DDT!

Hilda would be on the floor as she held her head from being hit with a DDT on the floor. She was then left on the floor as Lennox left.

Hilda was then woken up by staff that asked her if she was alright. She nodded in anger as she shoved the guy out of the way. Hilda was pissed off about the attack as she would tell the guy that she’s ready to come out to the ring now.

Hilda made her way down the ramp. She didn’t have her microphone on her as she stormed down the ramp. The crowd was shocked to see a pissed off Hilda as this was out of character for her. She then entered the ring and went to her corner. She got murder on her mind and is wanting to show the world why you don’t mess with a Canadian Goose.

Thornette's aim had been to drive the woman into the floor hard enough that she'd still be hurting by the time the matc started, or better yet, be forced to forfeit. Her delayed arrival mean't the latter hadn't happened, but the former was very likely the case. The Australian had already been waiting awhile in the ring by the time Hilda had arrived. She grinned from ear to ear while standing in her corner the entire time her opponent approached and joined her. Once she was in her own corner, Lennox stepped toward the centre of the ring, hands on her hips.

"Why so late, birdy?" She asked, sarcastically.

"Did someone ruffle your feathers?"

“Nah don’t give me that fucking bullshit. You know why I was late to ring. You should’ve knocked me out right there and then. But now, I’m gonna show you why you don’t mess with a Canadian goose.”

Hilda would be huffing as she went to her corner. She was waiting for the bell to ring to start the match. Hilda was raring to go as she wanted to take out Lennox right there and then. This was no longer a joking matter to her as she left her joke book back at her locker room.

"Well, I'm glad you weren't knocked out, maybe I'd have won by forfeit, but I'd much rather all these fans get to watch me take you out!" Lennox said as Hilda turned back to walk toward her corner. She was enjoying antagonizing her Canadian opponent & she intended to keep doing so as long as Hilda remained conscious.

Thornette waited for the match bell to ring & as soon as it did, she'd back peddle all the way back to her corner, to rest against the turnbuckle, smiling the whole time, waiting for Hilda to make the first move.

Hilda would rush at Lennox once the bell rung. She was ready to pluck the asshole feathers off of her as she went to spear her into the corner she backed up in. If she managed to do so, Hilda would continue to shoulder tackle Lennox into the corner before backing up and performing an inziguri.

However, if Hilda were to completely miss either move, Hilda would be setting herself up for a counter attack. Lennox could use the opportunity of the mad goose and use it against her in this match.

Dodging Hilda's match starting charge was trivial, she'd practically been baiting her into it, after all. So when she got close enoufg Lennox simply slipped out of the corner, hoping the woman slammed head or shoulder first into the steel post she was charging toward.

Assuming that happened, Thornette's next move would be simple but effective, a series of rope assisted stomps to the back of her opponent's left knee, relentlessly continuing until Hilda or the referee stopped her.
