A Young Lioness' Glance Into the Darkness! Morgan O'Rovy vs Mikoto Yakamura!

The crowd was cheering in excitement as the spotlights of the arena scanned the arena until they all went dark at once. A few seconds later, a voice boomed through the darkness. "BE ENVELOPED BY DARKNESS TO BE REBORN NEW IN THE LIGHT!" the voice shouted as the lights would come back on. There on the stage entrance was Mikoto standing, her palm in front of her face with her fingers split around her eyes in an intimidating pose. She walked to the ring proudly while her theme played in the background. She was wearing her neon out fit today because she felt like it.

Once she made it to the apron of the ring, she would roll underneath the ropes, pushing herself up and posing once more for the crowd in which she was rewarded with yet another roar cheer. This is partially why she wrestled. She adored this type of attention. Once she was done appealing to the crowd, she walked to the corner of the ring and rested against the turnbuckle to wait for her opponent. She had heard that the girl was still a young lioness, so she wasn't expecting much other than an easy win in this match. Maybe she could use her to send a message to others wanting to challenge her...

Morgan braced herself in the locker room, looking herself up and down in the mirror, making sure her clothes were just right. “Deep breaths.” She thought. This was her debut. She couldn’t afford to mess this up. How bad would she look? Satisfied with the state of the attire, she took a breath, donned a brave face, and strode into the ring, music blaring. She looked her opponent up and down, before extending a hand. “Morgan. May the best woman win.”

Mikoto's eyes scanned the girl up and down. She didn't look like much to Mikoto. "Yes. May you be reborn a new and better wrestler after I am done with you.~" she replied back confidently but refusing to shake her opponent's hand. A villain like her shouldn't be shaking hands with others. It shows weakness in her eyes. "Hmph."

Morgan was slightly taken aback by her foe’s demeanor, but paid it little mind. She pulled back into a defensive stance as the bell rung. Analyzing her opponent as best she good, Morgan began by feinting a left hook, before attempting a leg sweep.

Mikoto watched her with an unimpressed look as the girl ran in and attempted to catch the hook before falling for the feint and stumbling to the side a little where she would have her legs swept out from under her, causing her to fall to the floor. But not hard enough where she would stay on the floor so after she fell, she would immediately begin attempting to get up to slam her fist into her opponent's abdomen.

A surge of exhilaration flowed through Morgan, but was quickly gut short by the sight of a fist cutting through the air on it’s way to her chest. She hardly had time to sidestep as the blow caught the side of her chest. “Ungh!” She let out a cry, staggering, before attempting a kick to her foe’s knee, which, if successful, would be followed by a backhand across the face.

The gut punch was meant to give Mikoto enough time to stand back up and regain advantage. However, her opponent recovered from that gut punch much faster than the Defiant Darkness had expected. Thus, she didn't have enough time to fully get back up as the kick to the knee had just knocked her down to one knee again and the backhand had nearly toppled her over. "nngh!" she grunted twice with each hit she took. She couldn't believe she was taking hits like this from a new girl. The whole thing hurt her pride. If she lost, then people would probably make fun of her for it. So she had to win at any means necessary.

Morgan was spurred on, enhanced by a mix of nerves and adrenaline. She was winning her debut, she thought. The rookie lifted her leg into the air and attempted to bring it onto her opponent in an axe kick, assuming that her opponent was dazed enough she wouldn’t intercept it

With that backhand, Morgan would fortunately have enough time to combo it into an axe kick, effectively knocking the defiant darkness into the ground with a yelp as she managed to finally take first advantage away from the girl. Mikoto was dazed, but she wouldn't be dazed for long and was making moves to start pulling herself back up so Morgan had to act fast!
