Rules: No holds barred, anything goes. The winner must pin, submit, or knock out her opponent.
Renatta Rumble stood backstage, her body tensed and ready to pounce. She was always hyped up before a match, but this time, there was a hair in her soup. Her opponent, Nico, was a rookie, and that fact made Renatta seethe with frustration. Sure, she was new to the league herself, but she had already made a name for herself in her debut as a fierce brawler with a mean streak. Nico was just some nobody, a fresh face in the business who didn't know the first thing about what it took to survive in the ring. Renatta's own debut had been against someone far more experienced, and all things considered, she had come out of that match battered but firmly on top. And now management was rewarding her with none other than a young lioness for her second match. The thought made her growl out loud.
She did have some consolation, however. Tonight's match would be a real bruiser, a hardcore match that would allow her to do all sorts of things with her opponent. Either this rookie was way out of her league or just downright crazy, either way, Renatta now had an axe to grind. She was gonna put the hurt on this girl quick and without mercy, and show the match bookers that her first bout hadn't been a fluke. She wasn't fodder for new girls, nor was she filler for the main event. She was the main event.
As she heard the roar of the crowd and the beginning beat of her entrance music, Renatta knew it was time. She pushed open the curtain and stepped out into the arena, her boots thudding on the metal ramp. The crowd's cheers grew louder as she made her way to the ring, her hips swaying with every step. Renatta climbed up onto the apron and leaned against the ropes, taking a moment to survey the crowd. They were chanting her name, their voices melding together in a deafening chorus. She smirked, feeling her adrenaline spike even higher. With a final flourish, Renatta climbed into the ring and strutted to the center. She bounced on the balls of her feet, her eyes locked onto the crowds as the ring announcer handed her the microphone.
Spoiler
Renatta dropped the mic soon after, letting it clatter against the canvas with a smug smile on her face. Renatta basked in the crowds chants for a few seconds longer, hands at her hips as she glanced around the arena. Satisfied with the reception, she finally made her way to her corner, draping her arms along the top ropes as she stared at the entrance ramp, eager to see the rookie dumb enough to face her.
