L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Olivia would finish preparing for her first match in what felt like forever. After months of isolation, self-reflecting, and even some advice from her first real friend, the newly named Privateer was ready to make her official re-debut in LAW- fully determined to forge her own legacy. Olivia took a long, hard look in the mirror, feeling as though she wasn't looking at the bitter and nasty bitch she was when she went by her old Mandy Cannons name but instead as a confident young lady ready to take on the world! It had taken some time to get herself re-familiarized with her training and wrestling skills after being sheltered for so long but Olivia felt more than ready to make the best out of her time in LAW. Hearing her signal to enter, Olivia took a deep breath and walked out get ready on a very special project she had prepared just for her entrances... only to find that the announcer was playing the wrong theme- using her old Mandy Cannon's music!

"Coming in at Six feet tall and Weighing one hundred and eighty pounds... hide your rum and treasure... here comes MANDY CA- huh? What? It's... it's different now? Uhhh... one moment..."

Olivia slightly cringed both at the old music she played and the blunder of the announcer. Whatever. At least the crowd was getting a good laugh out of it. Shaking her arms out, Olivia waited for her PROPER music to play- which thankfully didn't take too long to fix.

"Ok! Uh... Coming in at six feet tall and weighing one hundred and eighty pounds... she's here to set sail on a new path and into your hearts... give it up for the Plucky Privateer, Olivia Orelash!!"

Right on cue, Olivia emerged from behind the curtain to not on foot- but rather on what looked like a crudely constructed mini-pirate ship! Something like a parade float as Mandy stood proudly at the tip of the cheaply constructed plywood boat on wheels, using a peddle at her foot to break and avoid going too fast down the ramp. The crowd's reaction was... very mixed between shock, confusion, and slacked jaws as the boat... started to brake apart, starting with the wheels falling off! A HORRIBLE splintering sound came out as the cheap wood on the float ground against the ramp, just falling to pieces as Olivia did her best to keep a straight face- trying to take a page out of Jack Sparrow as her float slowly crumbled apart. Thankfully Olivia would step off the float and onto the ring apron as her little project turned into a pile of wood chunks at the base of the ring, turning back to see the mess she made as the audience stared at her.

Olivia looked around at the audience and awkwardly smiled and waved as she slipped into the ring, making a mental note to help the janitors clean all that up after the match as well as to put some cash aside for better materials in the future. The Privateer would settle into her corner as she waited for her opponent to arrive- just hoping that the mess wouldn't make it TOO difficult for whoever it was to get into the ring.

Kimiko's Appearance

Kimiko was peeking backstage watching the whole entrance unfold as Olivia approached the ring. "Wow..." Kimiko was left speechless, shocked at just how bad things were going for her opponent. She was conflicted between feeling horrible for her and holding back a laugh as the boat fell apart at Olivia's feet. She saw Olivia making it to the ring just barely and awkwardly playing it off with her confidence, which gave Kimiko a little smirk. It didn't stop her from immediately cringing afterward, feeling second hand embarrassment from remembering the times where she was humiliated in front of the audience with botched overconfidence and wardrobe malfunctions.

"If her entrance is indicative of the quality of her fighting style, then I have nothing to worry about!" she chuckled. She immediately felt bad after saying that, feeling rather sympathetic to Olivia. "Whatever, I'll just have to prove my worth. I've been training too hard to lose tonight! I should be called up any second..." Kimiko thought aloud. "Well at least I don't have any poorly-constructed props, that way my entrance can't go wrong!" Kimiko joked to herself. Kimiko readied herself for her introduction. Right on cue her music came on and she stepped on stage waving to the cheering audience!

Kimiko's Entrance Music

The announcers came back on to announce Kimiko to the attendants as she made her entrance:

"Ahem... Uhhh... Now entering the ring, and hailing from Japan...Standing at 5'4" and weighing in at 153 lbs... She's LAW's cutest jobber- I MEAN-- CUTEST ROOKIE!!
It's uh... it's THE STARRR POWERRRRR!!!"

Kimiko's face became beet red and her expression turned a funny mix of annoyed and embarrassed. "H-HEY!!!" she shouted, looking at the announcer booth and throwing her arms down in a pouty look. The crowd laughed and jeered at the comedic yet honest mix-up. The announcers were heavy on the gaffs tonight, botching both of the girls' entrances.

"Keep it together, Kimiko. Keep it together. You'll go up to them and speak your mind after you win the match..." Kimiko took a deep breath in and slowly let it out trying to calm herself. She went back to awkwardly smiling and waving as she continued down the ramp. She was making sure not to take her time, she just wanted to get past this entrance part. She made her way to the ring, stepping over some of the boat debris the LAW staff was rushing to clean up before the match started. Kimiko threw herself over the ropes and landed on the mat with a THUD! She made one last quick circle around the ring before heading back to her corner.

Kimiko laid back on the turnbuckle. She was conflicted on whether or not she should start talking to her opponent. She really wanted to move forward with the match, not spending any more time on the beginning phase. She did her stretches, loosening up a final time before the match started. Kimiko noticed her opponent now that she was closer. Olivia was definitely cut and had beautiful dark hair, something Kimiko was really enamored with. She didn't want to make eye contact or look at Olivia for too long. Things were awkward enough as is. She left her body language open so if Olivia wanted to instigate she could. But Kimiko was ready to get things moving away from what had just happened, her face was still noticeably flush.

Olivia blinked as she saw just who her opponent was- recognizing one of LAW's most talked about topics in the locker room: Kimiko Nagasawa. A young lioness who so far hadn't won any matches in her still new career. With yet another blunder from the announcer, Olivia was getting pretty sick of this dude and just shook her head in disappointment- making a note to do something with him after the match. Watching Kimiko settle into her corner and avoid eye contact, Olivia tilted her head in curiosity as she noticed the flush on Kim's face. Olivia utterly sucked at reading people's emotions, but in her head she figured there was a chance that Kimiko was feeling embarrassed at being called a jobber even if it was just a screw up. Remembering how getting called 'mouthy mandy' made her feel, Olivia took a moment to think about what Oscar would do before taking a deep breath and speaking.

"Yo, Kimiko! Nevermind what that announcer guy thinks of you. Take a deep breath, stand tall, and show them what you can do"

As if showing a demonstration, Olivia straightened up in her corner and took one last deep breath before fluffing her black and blue locks out and standing firmly with a hand on her hip, flashing a confident look on her face.

"Go on- give it a try before they get impatient and ring the bell"

"Th-Thanks..." Kimiko timidly responded. Kimiko didn't know why, but she was really shy in response to Olivia's warm encouragement. Maybe it was because she rarely received such positivity from her opponents right before the match. Kimiko wasn't fully trusting, but seeing how Olivia seemed genuine and after the announcers botching her entrance as well she was more willing to accept Olivia's proposal.

Kimiko recognized this and almost began to smile. What Olivia said made her feel slightly better. Plus she could tell that Olivia didn't think too highly of the announcers either. "Maybe we'll both go up to them and kick those announcers' asses after the match!" Kimiko half-jokingly thought to herself. She puffed out her chest and confidently flipped her hair to the side letting it fall on her shoulder. "Thanks for that... And no worries, Olivia. I'm ready to fight when you are!" Kimiko chimed, giving one last wink to the privateer. Kimiko changed into a wrestling stance to signal the officials she was good to go!
If Olivia was ready and had nothing else to say the bells would ring:


And just like that the match was on!

Olivia felt a twinge of joy in her heart as Kimiko seemed to take her advice- putting a smile on the Privateer's face and leaving some audience members surprised as they saw a side from the former 'Crass Corsair' that they had never seen before. Showing no trace of her former 'Crass Corsair' moniker, Olivia would put on a game face as the bell was rung and immediately leave her corner. Keeping her arms up and ready, Olivia sought to meet up with Kimiko in the ring as she waited to see what her opponent would do. To top of the start of the match, Olivia would flash a friendly but challenging smirk and make a "Come at me" motion with her hands to Kimiko.

Kimiko gladly obliged the privateer and confidently walked forward to meet her in the center of the ring. Kimiko walked straight up to Olivia so that they were nearly chest to chest. She then stretched one arm above her, then did the same with the other. She turned her head back to Olivia with a smirk on her face. Kimiko cocked her head, non-verbally challenging Olivia to a relatively-friendly test of strength. "So Olivia, let's find out who'll have the upper hand tonight." Kimiko playfully yet assertively put forward a provocation to Olivia.

Kimiko flipped her hair over to her other shoulder, waiting for Olivia's reaction. If Olivia would oblige, then she would push forward with almost everything she had to break her down and get the upper hand. But if Olivia decided against the test of strength, she would reset her position and choose to react to Olivia throwing out the first attack!

Olivia looked surprised as Kimiko offered up the test of strength, looking down at the smaller opponent. With a respectful nod, the privateer would grasps Kimiko's hands and let out a grunt as she planted her feet onto the canvas and pushed with all her might! Her muscles would bulge as she tried to overtake Kimiko, slowly stretching her arms to the side (possibly going chest to chest with eachother) as Olivia planned to assert herself as the physically stronger one in the ring!

As Olivia wrapped her hands with Kimiko's, both of them started to push against each other. Kimiko grunted as she fought against Olivia's superior position and pressure.

Although Olivia was taller, Kimiko had natural strength on her side which made her confident. Confident enough to challenge Olivia in the test of strength. Still just by seeing Olivia's cut body Kimiko knew she wasn't going to be a pushover. That's what made the test of strength so appealing to her! Kimiko wanted a challenge, and if she was truly stronger she'd come out on top for everyone to see! She was intent on showing everyone she wasn't a jobber!

"GNNNNNNGHHH!!" Kimiko grunted as she dug deep and pressed harder against Olivia. Her arms stretched out to the sides, causing the two to press their chests against one another. Kimiko was giving it her all to fight Olivia. But suddenly Kimiko's push faltered against Olivia's strength, causing her spine to bend backwards. Kimiko still fought back immensely and the best she could, but she was pushing from a quite painful and less effective position. Her back arched as the pressure grew. She was in a true stalemate, the tide of the battle could go in either direction. It all depended on the current condition of the privateer!

Olivia could respect just how determined Kimiko was when both women executed the test of strength, slightly blushing as she realized their chests were pressing together- but it was clear who was going to come out on top based on how Kimiko's body was bending. With a respectful nod, Olivia would look down at Kimiko and give a competitive but friendly smirk.

"Nice guts you got- but only having guts won't cut it!"

Olivia would step back and pull Kimiko to a standing position, satisfied with the test of strength as she sought to get this match rolling by throwing a MEAN knee strike into Kimiko's soft stomach to get her to double over. If she was successful in that department, Olivia would blow a kiss to the crowd with a wink of her eye before grabbing onto Kimiko and flipping her up onto the privateer's shoulders. A brief pause would follow for Kimiko to realize what was about to happen and if the star powered wrestler didn't do something, then Olivia would powerbomb Kimiko right into the canvas and go for the pin!

Kimiko knew she was losing the test of strength against Olivia, but still she pushed with everything she had! But that made it all the more jarring as Olivia positioned Kimiko back up into a standing position. Kimiko tried to figure out what Olivia had in mind, but she would find out when Olivia delivered a crushing knee to her core! Olivia's strike was so powerful it had forced Kimiko into the air. "GUUUHHH!!!" Kimiko forced out a gasp as her stomach caved in. She fell back down clutching at her gut with both arms, trying to hug her injured core. Kimiko felt woozy. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she began to drool slightly out of her mouth, which was kept open in disbelief.

Kimiko felt so faint that she would've fell to the mat turning unconscious if Olivia didn't do what she was about to do. Olivia hoisted Kimiko onto her strong shoulders, prompting a confused yelp from the poor dazed rookie. But Olivia made it completely apparent what she was going to do as she paused, and she didn't have to say anything. "No-... NO!NO!NO!NO!NOOOOO-!!!"Kimiko panicked as she realized she was coming down, only to be cut off as she collided to the mat with a brutal SLAM! The entire ring shook and bounced at the impact.

Olivia quickly made advantage of the situation she created and went for the pin! Kimiko was helpless to stop her attempt. She had been so thoroughly rocked by Olivia's move that she didn't have it in her to fight back. Kimiko whimpered as her body lightly twitched beneath Olivia's pin.

The ref swooped in to count down the pin, slapping the mat with each count.

"ONE..."
"TWO!..."
"THREE!!!"

The ref stood up and waved their hands to signal the end of the match!


The match was over just like that, only lasting mere seconds! Kimiko just laid underneath Olivia's pin with a dazed, shocked expression from all the sudden pain she just endured. It was unclear if she even realized she had been pinned! Kimiko ultimately proved the announcers right by handedly losing such a quick one-sided match.
