L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

The winner of this match will be decided through pin fall, submission or count out. Weapons are strictly banned.

Sally hadn't yet showcased her immense well of talent and likable personality to the fans of LAW, yet she wouldn't let herself be nervous. Instead the blonde would let pure excitement occupy her head, denying any thoughts of anxiety or worry from upsetting her grand debut on a much more competitive and eye blindingly bright stage.

The blonde knew only one thing about her opponent and that was that the environment of LAW was just as foreign to her as it was to Sally herself. Of course Sally knew she was a charismatic super nova though and would quickly become accustomed to her new home, but she would always remember the first battle between two debuting competitors and even if understandably this Asuka person didn't have the same mark of greatness Sally was certain this would be a special experience for both parties.

Backstage Sally would be wearing her usual wrestling attire that was basically her signature look through the Indies of north west America. The blonde would be wearing fairly stretchable blue jeans, which had entirely had one leg cut out entirely other than the region just under the hip, meanwhile the opposite leg's material reached all the way down to her ankles, covering significantly more than her first leg. Then on her upper body Sally would be wearing a frilly low cut top, which luckily covered her breasts fairly well despite the material regularly bouncing and ruffling as she moved, especially since the blonde was a strong advocate for the " free the tit " movement.

Before long Sally's theme " Better harder faster " by daft punk would shake the arena which would be the prompt the blonde was waiting for. Sally immediately cutting through the curtains and looking up at the lights and crowd before sticking an undeniably cheesy pose with complete seriousness. The American super nova then heading down the ramp at one side, high giving fans enthusiastically who almost certainly had no clue who she was.

Sally's journey would lead her to the ring eventually, and she would enter it fairly quickly by stepping up onto the apron and using the ropes for support as she did so, before ducking under the top rope and entering over the second. The blonde then heading towards the furthest corner and climbing it, raising her arms high as she soaked in the light and attention.

Sally then bouncing off the corner in a 180 to land soundly on her feet before standing directly in the middle of the ring with a large smile and her arms crossed in front of her chest. The blonde planning to truly welcome her opponent and introduce herself properly.

Today was a special day and like any special day to dressed for the occasion. "Dress to impress~" She had arrived early in anticipation for her debut match, knowing full well she would need the time for preparation. Her new ring gear alone had been a chore to put on all by herself. Far more involved then what she had worn last time she stepped into a ring. This was the new her though. "Strider ★ Star". She admired herself in the mirror, twisting slightly as she worked to stencil in a small star on her cheek, just under her right eye. The over the top get up was only part of what she was transforming herself into. She wanted to give everyone a show. She wanted to embrace her new persona to become a larger than life, honest to God heroine of wrestling. It was all very exciting.

Asuka hadn't been with LAW for very long. She hadn't even gotten a chance to wet her whistle with a dark match or two. Most of her time had been spent back stage when shows were running, watching and waiting about in case she was called on to participate in any last minute booking changes. While eager to jump in and get down to brass tax, she was overjoyed when they informed her ahead of time when she would be debuting. It gave her time to prepare physically and mentally. She was comfortable in the ring, yes, but not one of this size or caliber. She had just been herself on the independent circuit. Small shows for auditoriums mostly. It was a more personal affair with so few people in the crowd. Faces became familiar, she even knew a few of her handful of fans by name. She wondered if any of them were in attendance tonight.

Fully suited up and made up, she did one last check to make sure everything was where it should be and properly secured. For good measure she tested out a few poses, gushing to herself how cool she was going to be when everyone finally saw her. Everything had to be perfect. She was going to try her hardest to make a good impression tonight. For herself, for the fans, and for whomever it was she was up against tonight. Asuka peeked out through the curtains catching the tail end of Sally's entrance. She had been contemplating her options at a backstage vending machine when a LAW staffer informed her, in a panic that she was "..On at any second, hurry... HURRY!". A small sigh of relief escaping her as she seemingly arrived just in time. Leaning to the side she took in the full scope of the crowd. It was a bit overwhelming to say the least... she had been own to the ring in the arena a few times practicing her entrance. Empty seats really didn't match up to this even a little. "You got this. Just go out there and do your best... they are going to love you girl." Her attempts to psyche herself up didn't really provide much relief. Taking a deep breath, she waited for her music to hit.

Strider ★ Star

Strider ★ Star burst through the curtain, taking a few long strides before jumping into the middle of the stage. She threw a hand to the sky, fingers fanned out as the other held open near her face putting herself on display. "Yeah!" Colorful lights of varying colors and sizes spiraled around her from above, creating a cosmic aura swirling around her. She bounced with the bass in her them, running from one side of the stage to the other, lights following behind her like the tail of a comet. She jumped, planting her self at each edge to strike a dramatic pose borrowed from any number of Sentai productions to drum of the crowd. So far it seemed to be working. Even as an unknown, her energy mixed with the easily recognizable gimmick she was going for was rallying people behind her.

As the vocals kicked in she rushed to get into position, taking to the ramp like a bat out of hell. Near the bottom she threw herself forward, sliding down the remaining ramp on her knee pads, pumping her fist the whole time. When she reached the bottom, all the colorful stars that had been following her exploded outward, the lights spreading out into the crowd dramatically. She popped herself up to her feet, running around the outside of the barricade along the ring, arm outstretched to provide as many high fives as she could along the way. She caught sight on Sally in passing, giving the girl a big grin with an accompanied wink.

She climbed up onto the ring apron, gripping hold of the top rope. Leaning back she pulled the rope tight before diving herself up and over, landing inside the ring in a practiced tumble. As she jumped out of her roll she struck another dramatic pose mid ring to an uproar of applause. Her timing had been perfect, striking her last big note before her music dyed off. She was huffing out of breath, already sweating a bit. Not exactly the best way to go into a match, but it had been worth it for the sake of showmanship. "Whew..."

Turning on her heel she gave a few jogging steps back from Sally, giving her another genuine smile and two finger salute. "Greetings adversary. I wish you the best of luck. May we have a glorious exchange tonight." She was definitely laying it all on thick, even changing the tone of her voice to cater to her entire goal of seeming more heroic. It was cheesy for sure, but endearing none the less.

Sally would watch attentively as her opponent made her appearance, and as expected the greatest young woman to grace the Angela family name wasn't fighting a tactless nobody for her first match, instantly the blonde knew that her foe had style and if she had such a confident air in her walk out then that would likely carry to the ring. Sally gazing at her opponent without letting much of her emotions being shown, not letting her poker face fade slightly as her opponent winked at her. The self proclaimed Icon taking just a few steps back to make room for Asuka to soar over the ropes to take her first steps in the LAW ring, an experience which the blonde herself had just experienced.

Then Asuka struck a pose, prompting the blonde to clap slightly as she looked on with amusement. Sally hadn't quite noticed any signs of tiredness in her opponent's face, and for some reason she didn't have the passing thought that such an elaborate walk would require exerting some energy. Sally watching as her soon to be opponent gave her a smile, the blonde slowly backing up into another corner to get ready for the bell to eventually be rang as she listened to Asuka.

" It'll be one for the ages. Let's become the biggest names here! " Sally would fire back, her slight ego probably shining through somewhat although at least her first words were free of malice, the blonde mostly becoming an infamous wrestler less due to any lack of sportsmanship but rather...other issues.

Without further ado the bell would ring, signalling the start of the action. Wanting to start her first LAW match in classy fashion Sally would approach the middle of the ring, holding her arms up for a test of strength, although after a moment of struggling if Asuka didn't act first then the blonde would attempt to drop to the mat suddenly, hoping to slip out of her opponent's grasp and drive her foot into one of her opponent's ankles to either make her fall to a knee or tumble. Sally having the contrasting desire to start of her match in a familiar way with a lock up, but add in something a bit less common for the beginning of the match into the mix.

"Very well!" Any hint of anything in Sally's tone were swallowed up for Strider ★ Star's infectious excitement. "Then have at you!" As if on cue the bell sounded. She had already begun to step up, a woman of old school wrestling values most of her bouts started standard fair. She was surprised to see the raised offered hands held high.

A test of strength! Far fewer foes on the independent scene used this, unless they dwarfed her in size. She readily offered her own hands up, clapping palm to palm as her fingers interlocked with her adversary.

A true heroine doesn't back down from a challenge, and as it was here tonight, she would make no exception to this. She gave as good as she got, not pushing for dominance only seeking to hold Sally at bay. A struggle for the crowd, she was a showman after all. She seemed intend to ride things out until a natural conclusion, blissfully unaware her foe had other plans in store.

Strider ★ Star had only just started to apply herself when Sally yanked herself free from their deadlock. The sudden removal of pushback caused her to teeter forward, too far and off balanced to even think about stopping the blond's means of attack. The boot found purchase on her ankle, kicking up back and away, straight out from under her. The a yelp the heroine clattered onto the mat, arresting her fall with her hands but leaving her in a truly awkward position.

One knee had planted itself on the canvas, while the leg that had been knocked back was thrust out behind her. She was in this moment, a vulnerable human tripod, and she knew it as her eyes snapped to Sally. Maybe if she was lucky she could manage to deal with what came next.

Sally didn't have any cruel intent behind her decision to trip her opponent in such a harsh and arguably unfair manner, but at the same time she had no desire to show her opponent any mercy in the early going. Proceeding in her assault the blonde was about to move in on the heroine, before hesitating slightly as a kick was thrown in her general direction, although luckily the aim was just slightly off. Without further delay Sally would then try to drop onto one knee behind her opponent, to join her in the combat tripod position.

Unlike her opponent though the blonde would be in a slightly more secure position, as her leg which wasn't folded under her surfaced knee was spread out wide as her foot was sternly grinded into the canvas. Meanwhile the blonde's arms would coil around the behind of her opponent's hips and tightly join at the heroine's front, joined hands pressing tightly into Asuka's upper waist as the blonde tried to whip her body to the side and use that momentum to carry both herself and her foe sideways across the mat in a gator roll.

Fully intending to take advantage of any disorientation caused from the sudden spinning and rolling Sally would release her opponent's side and proceed to quickly whip her arm around her opponent's neck and tightly constrict her first LAW opponent in her grasp. The blonde using her amateur wrestler experience fully to her advantage as she tried to apply enough pressure to deprive her opponent of air in a sleeper hold, although for the most part her primary focus was just to stay out of Asuka's line of sight and restrict her movement as much as possible.

" Ahaha! Got you! I'd like to see you try to get out of this one Emi- Huh...Wait, I never got your name... " Sally would inquire, before coming across a troubling truth, the blonde being shocked that she somehow started the match without trading names with what was going to be her first ever opponent on the biggest stage of her life.
