L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Backstage, in what was to be the first match for Nashi and Yukino working together as a team, Yukino sat hunched on a bench, her heart pounding and her lungs heaving. It wasn't long ago that they had been reunited after a long absence when the two faced each other in a match during LAW's Halloween show, but now that they were both back in LAW, they knew it was about time they made up for all that time they spent apart. Tonight was set to be the night they would work together once again, as the newly-christened Idol Dragons. But if Yukino had been worried when it came to getting in the ring by herself...she hadn't seen anything yet.

She was excited, of course - it was a big step forward in her career, and it meant that she and Nashi were ready to take their place in taking the wrestling world by storm. If she and Nashi were going to stay a team, it would be matches like these that would characterize their career going forward - and she knew she had to be ready. But all the same, her stomach felt like it was tying itself into knots. Her fingers clenched and unclenched as she tried to focus her nervous energy. This might have been a big opportunity for them - but it also meant there was much that could go wrong, and if they were here as a team, that meant the possibility existed that Yukino wouldn't measure up, and she would let her partner down. Even back during their singing career, Yukino had always worried that she would make her partner look bad, or disappoint her. When it was something that could impact their bodies and well-being, even their lives, the stakes were even higher. Letting out a sigh, the white-haired girl glanced away from Nashi. "I'm...still not sure if this will work, Nashi...what happens if I cost you the match?" The last thing she wanted was for their career to be over before it began - especially if it was because of her.

Yukino focused her attention on the boots she was wearing - because, once again, they would be competing in costume. Their first match had been a success, and they had made a name for themselves in the cosplay world, so it only seemed right to book them in a special cosplay match. She was dressed in a blue leotard with white trim in a pattern reminescent of icicles, like that of the DC Comics hero Ice. She'd put a lot of work into the costume, wanting to be sure it would look its best...but looks were only part of wrestling, and only time could tell if her abilities would be enough.

Nashi was in the locker room getting ready for her first ever tag team match with her best friend! The pinklette was excited, also helped by it was costumed theme, so she was dressed in green leotard with a black shoulder pads and a wig, like the DC superhero fire. She was finished putting on her wig for the outfit to work before turning to her partner.
“Look Yukino it’s only our debut, even if we loose, will bounce right back!” She said in a cheeky tone giving her friend a hug”so Yukino you ready to sing and take names!?” She asked with an determined look on her face with her fist going up.

"I guess so..." Yukino sighed, even as she stood up and faced Nashi. She was happy to know that her partner was excited as ever for this match, but at the back of her mind, she couldn't help but worry that if anything would go wrong it was going to be her fault. But the more she looked at her, and the more she heard her express her hopes for when they would rise to power as a dominant force in LAW's tag team division, the more Yukino began to feel assured in her abilities. If Nashi believed in her, then maybe the two of them would stand a chance - and her smile grew a little bit wider at the thought!

It was then that Yukino heard the stagehand calling the two of them out to the ring, and that was when she elbowed Nashi in the side. If this was their first tag match, it was time to make it count. "C'mon, Nashi! We're up! Let's go!"

"And making their tag team debut, from Tokyo, Japan...the IDOL DRAGONS!!"

As the announcer proclaimed their entrance, Yukino stepped out onto the ramp at Nashi's side. Her heart was pounding away in her chest, but she remembered her career as an idol, and she was ready to face it with a smile as she leaned in to link arms with Nashi and face the crowd with a wave and a bright smile! With that, she began to saunter down to the ring, posing for a few photos on the way, before she rolled in through the ropes to get to her feet. For once, she thought, things didn't seem so bad after all. No matter who her opponents might have been, the crowd seemed convinced they could stand a chance, and that was all it took. Maybe, Yukino told herself, she could get used to this...

Nashi began to smile more as Yukino finally understood her words and was just as excited as she was! When they were called Nashi, jumped in excitement”You don’t have to tell me twice!”

Nashi went out with Yukino and as they’re same was called, Nashi too linked arms with her partner and walked down. She waved to the crowd and swaying her hips, even taking a pose or two for some camera people with her partner,before rolling under the ropes to get to her feet. She stood up and waited in her corner with Yukino for theyre opponent’s.

Alaina and Tina were backstage wearing alternate wrestling attire for this match. The bigger, oler Alaina was wearing a one piece swimsuit patterned exactly like Wonderwoman, complete with a metal headpiece, gold colored wrist tape, kneepads and red boots. Tina meanwhile was in a two piece supergirl outfit with the blue "S" top and red briefs with some blue neepads and red boots.

"We're facing the idol singer tag team eh?" Tina said. "I can't wait to show the two of them what we do inside a LAW ring." Tina said.

"They may be singers trying to wrestle but Japan seems to have a few of them in LAW and they all can wrestle. We are going to go out there and give it 100% treating them like they are the SWAT Kats. They get us at our best the same as every other tag team we face." Alaina added as Tina nodded, patting Alaina on the back as the two left the locker room heading towards the arena.

Alaina and Tina came out into the arena as their music played bounding out and waving to the fans before high fiving whoever they could coming down the ramp. They appeared quite confident as they made their way to the ring, all smiles as they reached the bottom of the ramp. Both women flexed and struck a couple poses before running to the ring, sliding in underneath the bottom rope. The Thundergirls stood tall and held their arms out, taking in the cheers as they were officially announced.

"Aaaand in this corner, at a combined weight of 336 pounds.... The Thundergirls!"

Alaina and Tina quickly talked among themselves before Tina stepped out onto the apron through the ropes leaving Alaina standing in the ring jumping from foot to foot awaiting the bell, smiling to see if it was Nashi coming out to face her first or if it was Yukino. Alaina had a bit of a history with Nashi from knowing her father but her partner was a total mystery to her.

Nashi was leaning back in the corner watching her opponent’s come down to the ring. What she wasn’t excepting, was they’re opponents being her mentor Alaina Sanders, who she previously fought but lost….. and her tag partner Tina, rocking a Wonder Woman and Supergirl duo.

When Alaina, stepped up Nashi waved and said”hey Alaina, nice to see you again I guess our teams both thought about wearing DC outfits” she said with a light giggle before looking back with a determined face”this wont be like last time, I’m working with my best friend Yukino!” She shouted proudly before turning back to her partner”Hey Yuki, sorry but can I ask for a favor? Can I please fight Alaina? Because I got a score to settle but I’ll tag you in when needed kay?” She asked her friend with a cheeky smile excited to fight the ThunderGirls

When Yukino saw how her opponents were dressed, she blushed a little bit harder, realizing that she hadn't heard anything about them doing this when she and Nashi had planned out their outfits. In fact, when Nashi herself expressed that she hadn't seen this coming, she giggled to herself. "What? You mean you didn't set this up?" she asked, elbowing Nashi's side.

Then, she heard the pink-haired girl express her desire to face Alaina first, and Yukino nodded her head. "Yeah, of course...I'm, uh, just going to be right here if you need me, though, okay?" Though her words were encouraging, Yukino still breathed a short sigh of relief as she took a step back behind the ropes. She had been nervous about going into this match, and it would take some pressure off of her to let Nashi take charge - as well as easing her concerns about causing trouble in the match. Not to mention having to go up against Alaina, who easily outweighed her.

Alaina stepped forward and looked more than ready to kick things off against Nashi. "All right, now that you two finally decided lets go!" The amazon said as she surged forward and extended her arm looking to kick things off by clotheslining Nashi down to the mat.

Nashi felt Yukino’s elbow and giggled at her joke. “Yeah off course I’ll tag ya in when I need ya!” She nodded with a smile before stepping forward to face off against Alaina.

It seemed as if Alaina was ready aiming for a clothesline”I know you too well Jungle Girl” she teased her mentor and went to duck the clothesline, if successful she would aim to send a powerful chop straight to Alaina’s chest area!

Alaina took the chop and staggered back rubbing her chest. She wasn't about to let Nashi think she could simply topple her over though. Alaina stepped back in and swung a fist towards the abdomen of Nashi.
