The Silver Bullet vs. The Flying Snake: Ruby Rose vs. Enrieta Rosu

Match Type: Standard Match
Rules: Victory by pinfall, submission, or knockout
Attire

Theme
Enrieta ran from backstage and towards the ring after her theme began to play, sliding under the ropes and heading toward her corner. She hopped onto the middle ropes with ease and showed off her more than considerable muscularity to both crowss and cameras alike, before dismounting with a backflip and turning back towards the center of the ring. She'd proceed to shadow box, throwing a variety of punches and knee strikes, before she layed back to rest in the corner.

Her opponent in this match, would be Ruby Rose. On paper, they were of similar size. Both were quick on the attack. Both made extensive use of aerial offence. However that's largely where the similarities ended. But it was the combination of their differences and similarities that made this match up so exciting for Enrieta. There was nothing she enjoyed quite as much taking on fellow rookies and making sure they had a demoralising time facing her.

Enrieta figured Ruby expected to escape from having to face her head on by means of speed and evasion. The Flying Snake intended to keep up and instead force Ruby into a upclose and violent brawl, with neither of them being spared from being punched, kicked or tossed, with space only opening up immediately proceeding a devastating momentum based attack. If it came to that, Enrieta figured she'd prevail, not only due to her strength and durability but because she belived, when it came down to it, Enrieta was more willing to act with cruel intent. Given the opportunity, The Romanian Viper was ready to draw blood.

Ruby was always excited to get in another match. Still, despite having been through several of them already. Ruby would still get butterflies in her stomach before the entrance. At least it was a sign that she wasn’t completely scared of getting into a match. Ruby was always one to over think things, it was something that was hard to control.

Ruby’s opponent was Enrieta Rosu it looked like they were similar enough. But Ruby could tell that there were more differences deeper down between the two. Though something like that she would have to figure out in the moment. One thing immediately notable with Enrieta is how rough she is in matches. Ruby saw this and worried for herself. Odds are Enrieta was going to bring that same sort of energy in this match. Why did I have to get someone that’d Yang like to fight… Ruby complained. Quickly shaking it off as there was nothing she could do now.
Spoiler
Now it was time to make her entrance. Ruby would make her way to the waiting area, waiting for the queue to enter. Once her theme began to play, Ruby would run from backstage and flip onto the main stage. Getting a good pop from the crowd, Ruby would raise her arms and wave to the crowd. Ruby’s smile was one that could melt any cold heart. People felt that it was natural to cheer for her. After a few moments would sprint down the ramp to the ring. Jumping through the middle and top rope with a great show of athleticism. Rolling to cover her landing. Ruby would pop back up and strike a pose. Giving the audience something else to pop for.

Keeping things on the shorter side, not wanting to get blind sided by Enrieta. Ruby would cut her entrance here. Waving along as she would head into her corner and rest her back on it. Finally getting a good look at her opponent. Ruby could tell with one good look at her opponent that she has seen her fair share of brawls. Ruby’s mouth getting the better of her. Hey are those scars real? Ruby would ask because it is easily possible for the scars to be a gimmick. If so then Ruby had less to worry about it. If they were real, then Ruby knew that this match was going to hurt in more ways than one. But if Ruby kept her head on straight and kept to her strengths and what she’s learned. Then everything would fall into place with Ruby’s favor.

Enrieta only found herself annoyed by the reaction the crowd gave to this soft little girl. If they had any taste they'd, soon be cheering for her. If nothing else, at least Enrieta would get them to watch Ruby suffer. The Silver Bullet was nimble, as expected, but The Flying Snake felt that a lot of that would go away through tiredness, damage and pain as the match wore on, with any advantage Ruby had over her in that respect gradually disappearing into virtually nothing.

Ruby was smart enough to keep her showboating to a minimum once she entered the ring, Enrieta would have been tempted to undercut a landing or strike her in the back has she not done so. As Ruby asked her question, Enrieta headed toward the center of the ring and responded to the question about her scars.

"Oh they're real alright. Sure I've got plenty, but every one I've gained, my foes ended gained at least two more. When I'm done with you, Ruby, maybe you'll have some of your own. As long as you don't just shatter." Enrieta said with a closed mouth smile.

"Speaking of shattering, is your wholesome sweetheart thing real? Don't you suplex girls onto the top of their heads with one of your finishers? That can't be good for their spines." Enrieta asked with her hands behind grasped behind her head, with he torso front completely exposed. As soon as the match started, Ruby would have a good opportunity for a sucker punch at anywhere but the head. If she couldn't block it in time it'd hurt, certainly, but she could mess with Ruby's style by having more ammunition to get into her head by implying that she had cruel desires masked by a nice, playful and sportswoman-like façade.

Ruby didn’t have any strong feelings towards Enrieta. As of now she was just another opponent. Not wanting to get caught up in her head. Ruby kept calm and ran through her game plan mentally. Sure things wouldn’t go exactly how she wanted. But a plan is better then no plan at all. Enrieta is probably expecting Ruby to speed around the ring. While not wrong, Ruby would keep her striking and throwing in her back pocket. Enrieta had to be roughly the same weight as Ruby. So it wouldn’t be a stretch for Ruby to pull of some power moves.

Now that Ruby and Enrieta were just waiting for the bell. Ruby would be the first to start a conversation. Asking about Enrieta’s scars seemed to be a natural start. But the response Ruby got was not exactly what she was looking for. Enrieta going on about how her scars, and that her opponents have more. Finishing with that basically she would do the same to Ruby. Sighing disappointedly Ruby would respond God why did I have to get this type of opponent knowing now that Enrieta was one for liking violence.

Enrieta wasn’t done though she had something else to say. Talking about Ruby’s supposed gimmick of being a sweetheart. Adding on that Ruby drops people on their heads and therefore causing spine damage. Is it real? Don’t think I am faking it. Well I like to think I am a nice person. Wouldn’t see why people would think the opposite. Ruby would respond to the first part. Yet now for some reason being more defensive in her response. You mean Crimson Rose? It’s not like I mean to cause spine damage… None one my opponents have gotten any issues from it. Ruby said, now thinking about the nature of her move. Sure Crimson Rose is dangerous, but isn’t any wrestling move by that logic. No Ruby couldn’t be the cause of someone having spine problems right?

Some seeds of doubt were being planted. All while Enrieta would start with some light show boating. Completely exposing her stomach, it was like she was asking to get hit. Ruby quickly analyzed the position Enrieta was in. It wasn’t like she could counter with her hands being in such a position. So not being one to miss her chance. Once the bell rang, Ruby would dash forward to Enrieta. Already showcasing her blinding speed. Adding an extra layer to that Ruby would extend her rang by raising her leg and aiming to kick Enrieta in the stomach, with enough force behind it to at least bend her over.

"Right, totally." Said Enrieta sarcastically in response to Ruby's denials. On one hand the naviety of her words suggested that she was telling the truth, on the other hand that could also be an act. Enrieta leaned toward the former, but even if it were the case, making Ruby second guess herself would only help Enrieta in their match.

As Enritea predicted, when the bell wrung, Ruby quickly took advantage of her vulnerablity to attack.Since Enrieta's hands were by her head, Ruby would want the strike to land as quickly as possible so that Enriety have little chance to block or otherwisecounter it couldn't block it, so it'd likely be a kick to her midsection. Sure enough, that was exactly what came. Enrietawould have time to tense her abs in expectation of the kick saving her from having the air knocked out of her, but that still couldn't help Enrieta from stumbling back a few steps and bending over in response to its power. It hurt, but Enrieta was sure she'd pay Ruby back with plenty of interest soon enough, but in the immediate present, The Flying Snake was only ready to wheeze one thing:

"Cheap shot."

Enrieta had this dangerous aura around her that Ruby was worried about. Sure she was in the business of fighting other people. But it wasn’t like Ruby went to far or did things out of malice. Ruby hoped that this match wouldn’t take a turn for the worse. With someone like Enrieta, odds are she wanted to drag Ruby down to her level

Once the bell rung, Ruby wasn’t going to waste this free shot that Enrieta was giving her. Considering Ruby’s speed and the distance between them. Not even talking about Enriet’s posture. There was no doubt that Ruby was going to land her move. Landing a straight kick to her midsection. Whether or not it did good damage didn’t matter. Ruby wasn’t going to end things with one kick. Any damage is good damage. Still the kick had Enrieta stumbling back and holding her stomach. Wheezing was a good sign, but the one thing that Enrieta would wheeze is that Ruby landed a cheap shot.

Oh stop, you did all of that on purpose. Don’t go complaining about what you did and how I responded. I’m sure you would do worse if I did the same thing Ruby shot back at her opponent. Ruby would have to keep her mental strong, she didn’t quite know it. But Enrieta was fighting two fights, one a fight of the mental states and the literal fight.

Still with the match starting in Ruby’s favor she would go close the gap between her and Enrieta. Grabbing onto her arm, Ruby would throw Enrieta to the ropes. With Ruby running to the opposite ropes. Rebounding off of them to get extra speed, Enrieta would surely be doing the same. Meaning that the two wrestlers were on a collision course to each other. Ruby taking this moment would try to make her movements ambiguous. Ruby would go low, as if she were going for a leg sweep or some sort of tackle. Hopefully this would fake out Enrieta, as the true nature of Ruby’s move was aimed higher. Using her more than impressive legs, Ruby would jump up and hopefully land a missile drop kick on Enrieta’s face!

"I'm not the one faking being nice." Enrieta would quickly reply, as Ruby grabbed onto her arm to swing her toward the ropes. She did noting to oppose her foe in this action, as the she felt it was a mistake on Ruby's part. In similar situations, The Romanian Viper would have probably grabed her opponent's head to drive to them the mat with a vicious face buster. Instead, Enrieta would be sent towards the ropes to bounce off them as Ruby ran towards to opposite set.

Immediately, when she saw Ruby appear to be returning off the ropes for a tackle, Enrieta would choose to go for a missle dropkick, hoping to connect with her head and compress the girl's neck into her body. But by the time the Flying Snake committed to the move, The Silver Bullet was going for her own missle dropkick. They'd both hit the ground without either's kicks properly connecting with each other and Enrieta would attempt to scramble to her feet as soon as, or, before Ruby.

"You're going have to hurt me a bit more before I can't fly with you, Ruby. Perhaps some of your signature spinal trauma?"

Ruby was trying to not let Enrieta into her head. But with the constant talking about being fake nice. Ruby is sure of herself, but maybe it wasn’t real? Shaking it off Ruby just wanted to focus on the match. So taking her lead even further, Ruby was looking to work off of what she was good at. Using speed to her advantage. Sending Enrieta to the ropes and wanting to cave her face in with a missile dropkick.

But it looked like Enrieta was committing to this plan of getting into Ruby’s head. Looking to copy Ruby and using her own missile dropkick. Both of the kicks landed awkwardly on each other. Having both of the wrestlers fall on the mat. Ruby, not wanting to let Enrita to get her lead, she scrambled to get up, preferably before Enrieta. Still even as they scrambled to get up Ruby could hear Enrieta come at her. STOP IT!!, Why do you keep saying that Ruby said angrily, already getting tired of Enrieta’s antics.

Wanting to get back into the match, Ruby dashed at Enrieta looking to drag her attention to the skies. Ruby was looking to trap Enrieta up with what Ruby could be doing. Faking out of her initial high flying move. To kick flip off Enrieta, at least stunning her long enough for Ruby to land Trick Rose!

Enrieta could tell that her constant insinuations that Ruby was crueler than she let on were getting to her, which was certainly a goal of hers for this match. But that wasn't the goal of course. The goal was to win and to hurt the energetic girl in front those who had been cheering her along. The two of them managed to get up at roughly the same time and the Silver bullet immediately began to dash towards the Romanian Viper. Enrieta was fine by this and assumed it was a mistake bred of Ruby's frustration. Ruby would get in brawling range and Erieta would pummel her with her strength advantage. So Enrieta was fine enough charging towards Ruby as well.

Unfortunately for Enrieta, Ruby had other plans. Rosu would begin to take a swing a Rose, only for it to be interrupted by her jumping and flipping off her chest, knocking her back. Stumbling backwards with her arms out of guard, when Ruby landedon her feet, she was more than well set up to crack of vicious high kick across Enrieta's throat.

Enrieta made a quick pained gurgle as she fell to the ground, grabing toward her throat on the way down. Enrieta had taken much worse kicks before, but the surprise had left her unable to brace for it and she absolutely needed to have. Ruby's small foot had landed right below her chin and into her throat, right across her larynx. She had been mocking Ruby from before the match started that she was meaner than she appeared, but it was still very unpleasant to eat the fact that Ruby was more than capable of seriously hurting her if given the chance and being struck by the mood to do so. Was this such an attempt? She'd been telling Enrieta to shut up after all. Perhaps she trying to injure her throat to make her be quiet? Intentional or not, Enrieta was still left flat on her back, holding her throat in pain.

Ruby wasn’t sure what Enrieta would get out of saying these mean things. But it was getting to Ruby whether she liked it or not. Sure Ruby could deal with insults better than Yang. Yet something about Enrieta calling Ruby an act, suggesting something more sinister. Ruby knew she was a good person. Yeah she fought people and on occasion when she could throw them. That was just the name of the game though right? Ruby wasn’t a bad person for this right? Ruby would have to fight two battles in this match. The physical one and the mental one there.

Doing her best to keep the mind clear. Ruby just needed to move faster than the negative thoughts. Wanting to keep Enrieta on the backfoot, Ruby would need to use her speed and agility to keep her off balance. Doing a flip off of Enrieta’s chest and landing a kick to Enrieta’s throat.

Usually Trick Rose is meant to be a high kick aimed to the face. Yet this kick missed its mark and instead aimed for Enrieta’s throat. Widening her eyes, feeling her kick was off and looking at the result. Oh my god, are you… Ruby was going to finish saying but stopped herself. This easily could’ve been some plot from Enrieta to make Ruby look bad. Even if the objective was to slow Ruby down, it was working perfectly. Ruby would just need to deal with the consequences later. Shaking the things off, the blow to the throat probably was keeping Enrieta down longer than normal. Looking to grab Enrieta and stand her up. Ruby would try to throw Enrieta to the ropes just like before. Instead this time Ruby was not going to let Enrieta bounce off of the ropes. Just as she was going to turn to hit the ropes. Ruby would try to knock Enrieta out of the ring a roundhouse kick aimed towards Enrieta’s face.
