Tia Harris's taunting worked like a charm, however she did not expect the American to bolt up like the Flash and punch her right in the face!

With a furious rage Tia would try to uppercut the American back right in the face! If successful she would grab Betsy, place her head by the ring apron, then grab her neck with both hands and try to choke her in place!

”I’m coming! I’m coming as fast as I can!”

Kenji Takamura was running through the backstage area at high speeds, struggling to not hit anyone in the process and also trying to put his referee shirt on in the process. He’d been warned that something like this might happen one day - wrestlers occasionally making impromptu challenges, so they needed to have a referee on call, ready to go for anything unscheduled. The responsibility was on rotation, and as it just so happened, Kenji had the duty tonight.

But he hadn't imagined he would have the misfortune of having to be summoned. Most of all, he hadn't expected it to happen when he was in the bathroom. And yet, that was exactly what happened. ”Damn it, damn it, damn it-”

He came bursting out from behind the curtain and called for the bell just as Betsy was bolting up the ramp, managing to start the match a second before her fist landed on Tia’s face. A very satisfying punch, too - she had been wanting to do that for a week, and the way it landed and the crunch and the yelp? Perfect. She loved it.

What came after, not so much.

Tia was a bigger woman than her, but Betsy only appreciated how much bigger when she let loose with a hellish uppercut, hitting her in the breadbasket. She stumbled back, trying to retreat, but the Australian was all over her in the next moment, pressing her against the apron and choking the crap out of her.

Betsy struggled, twisting left and right, but it was clear that she wasn’t getting free from this implacable grip through power alone. She did have options, though, and she went for one of the dirtier ones, placing her hands on Tia’s face and giving her a quick poke in the eye.

DING DING DING

The sound of the bell rang and soon a referee would come in as an unexpected match is Underway! Tia had managed to get Betsy's neck with two hands as the angry Aussie was busy choking her in the ring apron! She was bouncing the back of the American's head at the hardest part of the ring yelling and screaming at her inching her face closer and closer.

"Yoah gawnna fuckin pie faw thaht! yah loud mouth, annoyin, leettle fuckin -- Gaaaaaaahh!!"

While yelling at Betsy the little sneak poked her in the eye which causes the aussie to let go and move away to tend to her left eye while screaming in agony with her back turned to her opponent!

No, eye-poking wasn’t exactly the nicest, most chivalrous thing you could do in a fight. So what? Neither was choking.

Betsy didn’t see much way around it, either way, with Tia on top of her, throttling her like a madwoman. She wasn’t the biggest, strongest person in the league, but she was far bigger than the All-America Girl, and now that they were up close and personal, she had a full appreciation for the size difference. She didn’t yet know how she was going to win this match, but brute force? Yeah, that wasn’t happening.

Dirty or not, it worked, making Tia back off and giving Betsy the desperate space she was craving. She gasped and sagged against the apron, but she knew there wouldn’t be time to really relax. The advantage was small, and there wouldn’t be much time to work with it.

After taking a deep gulp of air to refill her depleted lung, Betsy reached up, grabbed the bottom rope, and pulled her way up onto the apron with a quick yank, hauling her way up there to stand on the edge. Her feet had only settled for a single second before she launched off of the apron with both legs tucked in, aiming her knees at Tia’s head with a Meteora.

While Tia was busy trying to recover from an dangerous eye poke this allowed Betsy to set up her next move as the small American lightweight would yank herself on top of the ring apron!

"Thaht's ih'! whaen Oy geh' moy hahnds on yah Oy weell fuckin-"

As soon as the Aussie would turn around she was met with two knees to the face! Betsy had jumped out the ring apron for a Meterora nailing Tia in the head! The Aussie woman would crash down to the floor as she folded up a bit with her ass sticking out the air before slowly falling on her back and laying there in a daze!

”Gotcha, bitch!”

Betsy cried out as she went flying through the air, going high risk early in their match. There were a lot of ways, so many ways, that she could’ve messed this up and taken a nasty fall, but she lucked up this time - Tia was right where she needed her to be for this attack and the fallout from it. She landed the knees and they both went down, crashing hard on the floor, with her opponent taking the brunt of it. Betsy went rolling off from the crashing, tumbling head over heels and coming to a rest on her knees, just in time to look back and see Tia flopping behind her.

From here, she had a lot of options. Could’ve hauled Tia up and worked her over. Could’ve put her in a hold of some kind. Could’ve hit her with an elbow drop.

In the end, though, she went with immediate gratification . Betsy crawled back, mounted Tia’s waist and started throwing down hard punches, just wanting to get some quick damage on the bitch’s face. Nothing too tactical about, nothing fancy - it was all about hurting her as much as possible, as soon as possible, and feeling damn good in the process.

With Tia in the floor all dazed Betsy would begin to put in some more work on the downed Aussie as the smaller American woman would mount on top of her waist and begin delivering ground and pound strikes!

Tia would immediately covered up using her arms to endure the brutal assault with some of Betsy's punches breaking through her guard! In desperation the Aussie would try to buck her hips hoping it would push the smaller woman off of her so she could rise back up to her feet.

Punch after punch, blow after blow, Betsy sent them raining down on Tia in rapid succession, battering her back and forth and getting lost in the moment. Even without the crap and the backstage attack and ruining her debut, this woman had the most punchable face that she’d ever come across, and wailing on her was a rare treat.

It was a pleasure she wouldn’t be able to enjoy forever, though, as her Tia had to go and ruin it by rolling her off, not enjoying taking blows to the face, weird enough.

Betsy went rolling to the side and popped up a second later, ready to go straight on the attack…but a better idea came to her a second later, as she looked off to the side and saw the stair.

Moving fast, she ran around them, putting them between her and Tia. She took a step back, took aim, then took off in a run. She planted one foot on the steps, launched herself off, and came at her opponent’s face with a flying knee.

Tia used her brute strength to get the smaller woman off her so the aussie could get her ass off the floor. Betsy would roll back to her feet trying to continue her offense against the taller wrestler by going to the steel steps preparing for another risky move. However Tia was ready this time and as soon as Betsy went for the flying knee Tia would simply use her longer arms and catch the diving woman with a right hand to the face attempting to stun her in mid-air!

When Betsy would land back to the floor on her feet Tia would quickly knock Betsy down with a quick clothesline in the back of her neck to knock her down to the soft mats! The crowd would boo as Tia would yell out loud in a primal scream!

"RRRRRRAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!"

Tia would flex taunting the crowd to boo at her more before going to the steel steps and pulling out the top part of the stairs! The crowd began to realize what the Aussie was gonna do as Tia would raise the steel steps up for the crowd to see! She then waited for Betsy to recover and get up just so Tia could attempt to nail her in the face with the steel step!

Betsy leaped into space, flew towards her opponent, knee on target, and that was when she had her ‘Oh no’ moment. The special, everlasting instant in time, where she both realized something bad was about to happen, and realized that there was nothing she could do about it.

For her, that moment came the instant she saw that Tia was nowhere as stunned as she first appeared, and saw her reel back for a blow that she had zero chance of blocking, dodging, or even preparing her body for. All she knew was that it was going to suck.

And wouldn’t you know, but it did suck it. It sucked hard.

Tia’s fist crashed against her like a rock, knocking her clean out of the sky and bringing her down to her feet. She managed to stay standing after the impact, by some small miracle, but that didn’t last long - the clothesline she ate a second later finished the job, dropping her flat and leaving her starry eyed and blinking. She was out of it, but not so much that she didn’t realize one, major truth: She was in a lot of trouble.

Frantic, Betsy rolled towards the ring, gripped the apron, and pulled tight on it, trying to lift herself up, get to her feet, maintain something of a base, but that turned out to be a poor idea - Tia was ready for her.

The All-American Girl had just enough time to raise her hands in the air for a poor defense as her opponent came in like a freight train with the steel steps, bowling her over and dropping her flat. She stayed down for the moment this time - she’d managed to block some of the impact with her arms, but not enough to keep it from leaving her dazed and aching.
