Keqing took a deep breath as she changed into her wrestling attire backstage. She was getting used to how it felt on her body now, having worn it for a few matches. In her mind it still felt new, but at least she was feeling more and more comfortable wearing it. After fixing the tight detached sleeves to make sure they aligned, pulling her boots all the way up, making sure the dark tights she wore didn't restrict the motion of her legs at all, and tightening the fasteners on her top so that she didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions, she felt ready to go out and face her opponent.
The purple-haired athlete felt quite good about her her match tonight. She spent a bit of time looking up Raquel's profile, seeing that the girl was quite the competitor. Though she was smaller and lighter than Keqing, she had a ton of experience, having fought at LAW for many years before Keqing even made her debut. She also packed impressive speed and strength disproportionate to her size. Keqing didn't want to make any comparisons before facing her, but just from looking over her previous matches, the way she moved and fought, it felt like she was going to be facing a fighter very similar to herself. That was going to make things very interesting, Keqing thought, as she wondered how her speed and skills matched up against the veteran's.
Keqing's entrance music began playing over the speakers accompanied by flashing purple light as she stepped out onto the entrance ramp. The raised an arm into the air, fist held high to greet the crowd and show her confidence. They responded by giving her a long appreciative cheer. Then Keqing took off down the ramp, running fast as lightning before leaping onto the ring apron and vaulting herself over the top ropes. Her athletic display was always impressive to see, eliciting more cheers from the crowd. Keqing wondered if Raquel was backstage watching her right now, and what she was thinking. She hoped that she felt a little intimidated at least.
