Within the LAW locker rooms, Selene awaited her next match. Dressed in her ring attire of a cookie themed bikini, she bounced on the balls of her feet as she shadow boxed. She didn't have to wait for long, a LAW offical arrived during her exercise and summoned her to the ring. Such news brought a smile to her face as she ended her pre-match ritual with a superman punch. Afterwards, she rolled her shoulders and headed for the arena.

She strolled out onto the stage to the beat of her theme's first crescendo. With a fist raised up high and a self-assured smirk adorning her face, she basked in the audience's reaction to her arrival. Then she threw a flurry of punches which she ended with an uppercut. She held her uppercut fist frozen in place and flexed her bicep to cap off her performance, hyping up the crowds even more.

Her stride radiated unfettered confidence as she sauntered down the ramp and scaled the ring apron with a single jump. Grabbing onto the top ropes, she vaulted into the ring with a single jump as well. She raised her fist high once more and patrolled around the ring before she approached her corner. There, she made herself at home as she turned her attention towards the stage where her opponent was due to appear.

Gil watched, entranced by the woman's stride, her confidence, everything about her showed no fear, or doubt in her abilities, and that was what Gil was after! She wanted that moxie, and in a way, she already had some of it. She was a fairly confident cookie herself, and given how fruitless most of her matches had ended up for her, it was even more impressive to remain so sure of her own abelites.

Soon enough, it was her turn to make her own entrance. "The contender facing off against the sugary sweetness of Miss Selene, is the smother-specialist from the USA, standing at 5'7' and weighing in at 131 lbs...! ARM-A-GIL-OOOOOOOOO!" The announcer belted out, and with it came the signature blast of confetti that welcomed Gil to the arena...!

Gil shot out, a grin plastered wide across her face, she greeted everyone with enthusiasm, high-fives, hugs, drawing out thee fanfare like she always did. The crowd ate it up, and so did Gil! The outpour of support was more than enough to fuel the flames of confidence that she wielded. Once she finished up, she skipped down to the side of the ring, rolling under the bottom-most rope, all the way to the center of the ring before springing up onto her own two feet, throwing her hands up, turning every direction to wave to the crowd!

The crowd was still roaring from both the women's entrances, when Gil extended her hand out to Selene. "Nice to meet you, I'm Gil! I hope we can have a fun match...!" Gil craned her neck a bit, Selene was much taller than she thought she would be, but that size wasn't enough to punch a ticket to victory, however, her all-around athleticism might be...!

"Hah. So do I." Selene casually replied as she gladly accepted the offered handshake. "The name's Selene. I also hope that we can still be friends after I kick your ass." Then she stuck to her corner and started bouncing on the balls of her feet again, eagerly pysching herself up in anticipation of their upcoming bout.

The second the bell rung, she exploded from her corner. She closed the distance in an instant. With her churning momentum driving her forward, she lifted her foot up mid-run and executed her signature move, the S.T.A. (running big boot), with all the force and power of a speeding freight train. Of course, the target was none other than Gil. Specificially, her face.

"The only ass kicking that's going to be happening is my ass kicking your... Face?" Gil fell well short of a witty comeback, but the sentiment was all the same, she had every intent to kick Selene's butt...! "But of course, we can be-" It was just as the bell rang, and already, Selene's foot was mere inches from her face. A delayed reaction was all it took to have the base of her foot catch Gil square in the face, blasting her back into the turnbuckle, her head slamming back on the top.

Gil barely held her footing, if it wasn't for her hooking one of her arms on the top rope, she would have fallen flat on her backside. Her hand rushed itself to her nose, she looked down at her hand. It collected drops of red, blood dripping from her nose. That blow was about as bad of a start as Gil could have had, but prepare for the worst, and comeback for the better was the mentality she had!

"If you think that's going to keep me down, you're wrong...!" Gil stumbled forward, visibly dazed still from the sheer power behind Selene's kick. There was a sense of urgency, if that was her opening move, it would only get worse from there, so Gil needed to act quickly. Her vison fogged and her plan non-existent, she lunged herself at the larger woman, throwing the entirety of her weight at her!

Selene chuckled just before the bell rung. Though her opponent's rebuttal may have fallen flat on its face, that didn't stop her from appreciating and finding the humour in the attempt. Unfortunately, it didn't stop her from kicking off the match with her trademark, thunderous big boot. "Heh." To her pleasant surprise however, she discovered that Gil of all people belonged to the select few group of women who had their skulls cracked by said big boot and remained standing, though in her case she had the help of the ropes.

The bronzette couldn't help admiring the other woman's courage and persistance. So instead of immediately pressing her advantage and resuming the beatdown, she granted the brunette the opportunity to shout out her defiant cries and go on the attack. Selene was more than prepared for whatever was thrown her way, in this case, literally Gil's entire body, snagging her out of the air before slamming her back down onto the canvas via a scoop slam.

Anyone could see and tell that recklessly throwing yourself at someone wasn't the best idea, as a plan, it didn't really involve much thought, if anything, it was a desperate last ditch effort that Gil attempted way too early. She should have known her chances, they were slim at best, of taking Selene down. Size difference alone could tell that much. Her mistake would be known as soon as her momentum was used against her, scooped up into her foe's arms before being slammed down into the canvas!

Her shoulders made first contact, and thus absorbed the better part of the damage dealt. Gil's current condition better resembled something you'd see at the end of a hardcore style match, not the beginning of a standard one. The power Selene had was on full display, amazing the crowd, her boot and slam looked effortless and inflicted very visible effects to her opponent.

"I'm not even close to finished..." Gil grimaced, shakily rising to her knees. She was too focused on getting a hit in to take a second to recover, but in her defense, would that end any better for her? Selene probably wasn't going to let her sit and rest, at least not for long. Gil pawed at Selene's thigh with one hand, grabbing the side of her bottoms with the other to try and lift herself up. "You pack one hell of a punch... But I'll show you just what I'm made of...!" Gil looked up, nose bloodied, and a weak smile on her face. Not a sight any of her fans wanted to see.

Springing back to her feet, Selene went to force Gil to stand up only to be suprised by the fact that she was already doing so to herself. Nonetheless, the bronzette went through with her plan. "You already have." She quipped as she pulled the brunette up and irish whipped her to the ropes for a rebound. Breaking into a sprint, Selene caught Gil as she stumbled forwards from the rope bounce, picked her up, spun around a full 180 degrees, and brutally slammed her onto the mat once again. This time, Selene performed her signature move; the ''M.S.G" (spinning spinebuster).

Yet she wasn't done. She bounced back up upon pulling off her second high-octane powerslam and immediately moved to again irish whip her opponent to the ropes for another rebound. Deciding it was time to end things, Selene planned to use one of the most devastating moves in her arsenal next, the one which ended almost every single one of her matches with a knockout.

The status gained by her less than impressive record was a hard one to shake, especially when her matches played out like this, but despite it all, Gil was not a quitter. She, against her better judgement, and her body telling her to stop, would stand. She had a match still to fight. She had to show resilience, if she didn't, she may never wave off that jobber title that haunted her.

While her show of persistence was admirable, in the end, it got her into way more trouble than anything. She would be slung at the ropes by Selene, bouncing off at a high speed and right back at her much larger foe. Her momentum and the sheer power of Selene made this much worse than it could have been, whipped up over her and slammed into the mat, she bounced nearly half a foot from the impact, a shrill cry escaping her.

Nothing could have prepared her for that, she should throw in the towel before it's too late. But she wouldn't. This time around, she didn't even have the time to try and help herself up before she was slung back at the ropes. She had to do something, but throwing her weight wasn't doing her any good... But what other choice did she have?

Bouncing back toward Selene, she had to pull out the old trusty maneuver, the flying hip attack! It had mixed results, but if it could buy her a second, just one, measly, second, she might be able to start something up here! She hopped up, turning herself so her ass was on course to collide with Selene's chest, it wasn't her best, or highest jump, but it should do the trick...! "Eat...! THIS...!"

Yet gain, Selene was pleasantly surprised by Gil; she somehow managed to assert control over her momentum and use it to her advantage to execute a flying hip attack. "Heh." The Japanese woman smiled brightly as she stepped forward, braced herself, and tried to catch the projectile flying towards her.

She staggered a couple feet backwards in the attempt, but should she stabilize her footing, she would throw the American skywards. And as she hung in the air, Selene leapt up and wrapped her arm around her opponent's neck, going for her finisher, the "S.R.O.J." (pop-up stunner). When the two landed back onto the ground, she would bash her steel-hard shoulders into Gil's jaw.

Flying bottom first wasn't the most hard-to-execute move there was, and a clear counter was easy to come by, by simply grabbing around the waist, that didn't come as easy to lightweights, but Selene was no lightweight, and she had done more than enough to prove her physical prowess in this match, even with how little time had passed...!

Gil's hopes and prayers quickly were shattered before her, with all too much ease, she would be stopped of all momentum she carried, and tossed up further into the air, in a hopeless position, where all she could do was wait for Selene to put her out. She felt stupid, she made too many bad decisions, she didn't think things through, and she was reckless.

When she came down, her face smashed into Selene's shoulders, she heard a small pop, and then nothing. She was out. Selene made it look easy, and maybe that's because it was, Selene kicked her butt and didn't even seem to break a sweat. Gil's real only hope was that her persistence shined through, that people would see her still as that figure of positivity, despite getting crushed like this. She had to set an example through winning, and losing, and that was to never lose hope. Spreading that message was hard, however, when you were out cold in less than two minutes...
