Mara Ashford vs. Arma-Gil-O - Sugar and Spice

It was a little worrying for Mara Ashford that she didn't have many wins under her belt yet in LAW, and she sought to remedy this. So, for tonight match, she would make sure that she would emerge victorious against her opponent, who somehow called herself Arma-Gil-O. Intriguing name aside, there was little Mara knew about this particular girl, so all she could do now was to wait until she saw her in the ring.

Making her entrance, Mara made her way down the ramp, clad in her two-piece wrestling outfit. Being the much mellower sister among the Ashford sisters, she received a much warmer reaction from the crowd. She would then reach the ring before she climbed up the apron, entering the ring before standing tall in the middle of it.

Mara would do some light stretches as she waited for her opponent to arrive. She had seen her picture sometime ago, though she knew that she couldn't simply underestimate her opponent just because she looked pretty sugary. Hopping on the balls of her feet, she would continue doing her warm-up while waiting in the ring.

Gil's excitement for this match was the same as any, she was bursting with it! Nothing excited her more than meeting new people, and having fun in sport, so mix those two together, and she could hardly stop smiling!

Soon enough, it was her time to make her entrance, she flipped and flopped between a more modest entrance and something more extravagant, tonight, she went for a mellower tone! She popped out onto the ramp with a grin on her face, she skipped her way to the ring, stopping to hug a few fans here and there before she finally slid under the bottom rope and shot up onto her feet!

There was something exciting about the traditional, non stipulation match, almost anyone was built for it, so it was anyone's game! She hopped up onto the rope to blow kisses to the crowd, it was routine at this point for her.

Hopping down she walked up to Mara, offering a hand while resting her other on her hip. "Nice to meet you, I'm Gil! Let's have fun, okay!"

The first thing that came to Mara's mind upon seeing her opponent was that she was pretty sugary in terms of appearance, if the word 'sugary' could actually be used in this context. She would keep watching, finding her to be rather cute. But that wouldn't stop her from aiming to become the victor of this match, and soon, both wrestlers were in the ring. The match would begin shortly, and Mara would prepare herself for it.

Then, Gil went to offer a handshake to Mara, and raising her eyebrow, Mara looked at the girl before her. Seeing no harm in actually doing that, Mara accepted her handshake. After all, she wasn't one to antagonize others like her mother and sister. Her temperament wasn't well-suited for heelish stuff. "Nice to meet you. I'm Mara. Let's have a good match, shall we?" She smiled at the girl before she stepped back, readying herself.

Soon, the referee would call for both wrestlers to get to the center of the ring. Now all psyched up, Mara stepped up to the center, keeping her eyes on Gil. And then, the referee called for the bell, starting the match between the two. To start off the match, Mara would get into a stance, raising both her hands as she would watch her opponent's movements, hoping to ascertain what she was going to do at the start of this match.

"Mhm!" Gil shook her head, it was nice to go head to head with someone who wasn't looking to really do serious damage to her.

Gil met Mara with an encouraging look, mixed with her own determination of course. She was sure she could win this match! She hadn't been involved in a standard match since her debut, but even still, she was sure she wasn't too rusty, as a matter of fact, she had a the perfect idea on how to win this match!

There was one thing Gil was pretty bad at, it was tie-ups, and tests of strength. If a match was to began like that, she would more likely than not, end up on the receiving end of whatever her opponent wished to throw at her! In this case, she made a risky bet!

Seeing that her and Mara were already closed in on each other, Gil would only have to make one quick move to get the upper-hand! Seeing the opportunity present itself, she hopped up toward Mara, wrapping her arms over her shoulders and her legs around her waist, looking for a take down!

Mara was planning to lockup with Gil, hoping to ascertain her strength. But Gil decided to suddenly rush in and latch herself onto her, which caught her off-guard a little. But she managed to maintain her footing even as Gil wrapped her arms around her shoulders and her legs around her waist. Planting her feet on the mat, Mara would try to react to this by forcing herself forward, hoping to send Gil down, back first onto the mat, with her falling forward.

With this, Mara would end up being on top of Gil, using her weight to crush the girl underneath her. Hopefully, this would force her opponent to let go of her so that she could go for an attack next.

Gil should have taken into account, Mara wasn't a lightweight, and even more, her footing was great! Gil would find Mara tipping forward, busting her down onto the mat, landing onto top of her, really sending the slam home! "Gah!"

Gil wasn't the most durable, she could bounce back quick, but a simple slam could leave her defenseless! Typically, she would curl into a ball, just like her nickname would suggest, like an armadillo! But with Mara laid on top of her, she couldn't move, her movement hindered, she was helpless as she squashed onto the mat!

Landing on top of Gil, Mara would immediately pick herself up, not wanting to start the pinfall too soon. Getting herself off of her, Mara got on her knees as she looked at Gil before she grabbed her by her head. Rising back up, Mara would pull Gil alongside her, planning to lock her into a side headlock, wrenching her head under her armpit.

After wrenching Gil's head for a while, Mara decided to yank at her head before flipping her over, sending her back first into the mat with a side headlock takeover, bringing her down on the ground so that she could continue wrenching her head. She would place herself on top of Gil while wrenching her head in the hold.

Gil whined as she was helped up onto her feet, her head stuffed under her opponent's arm pit! "Mmm! Let me go...!" Gil shook her hips and wiggled her body, to little to no avail, she was locked in tight for whatever Mara pleased!

The situation was far from favorable already, but soon enough, she would be flipped, landing hard on her back, which seemed to be the target of Mara's punishment so far! "Ah!" Gil nursed her back, rubbing the lower part of it with her hand, arched up off the mat.

Taking down Gil with a side headlock takeover, Mara maintained her hold around her opponent's head even as they were both on the mat, with Mara wrenching Gil's head, hoping to weaken her. She thought that Gil might not be able to do much in her current situation, allowing her to maintain the flow of this match uninterrupted.

"Sorry about that, but I need to hurt you a little bit more..." Mara sounded apologetic as she spoke to Gil. She would maintain the hold, looking to weaken her opponent even more before she could proceed with her next move.

Overpowering Mara wasn't an option, she had think of some other way to defeat her, and the best way to do that was by using classic humiliation tactics! Gil, with her arm behind the back of her opponent, saw a perfect opportunity, one she would usually be gentle with, but whether by mistake or desperation, she grabbed the waistband of Mara's bottoms, her fingers reaching on the inside before she would yank up hard!

"I'm sorry!" Gil felt bad about the decision, but she knew she was outmatched currently in every aspect of this match, and that was all she could think to do! "I'll make it up to you...!" She assured her opponent!
