The audience was amped up and eager for the next match on tonight's LAW show. It was a fight that stood out to many as the best thing on the card. The masked "Super Kitty" Katherine Hart takes on the Irish Brawler, Erin Quinn. As the stipulations of the match were explained, audible clamors and chatter could be heard from fans as they placed bets and took sides on which of these two purple-clad women would come out on top.

After a brief pause following the announcer's explanation of the match, an upbeat theme began to blare on the stadium speakers. Katherine would make her appearance by bouncing into the arena and waving at the legions of fans who cheered her on!

Katherine Hart

"Making her way to the ring, weighing in at a hundred and seventy-five pounds! "The Super Kitty"! Katherine! Haaaarrrrrrrrrt!"

Clad in her usual flattering purple leotard and purple mask and gloves, the brawny blonde would make her way down the ramp, high fiving and hugging a few fans along the way. She'd hop onto the ring apron and climb through the middle and top ropes to enter the squared circle. Kat would climb the turnbuckle and give the fans in the section she was facing a peace sign with her hands before dropping down and taking her place in the corner.

It wasn't obvious yet, but she was really looking forward to this match. Erin and her had been friends for a little while now and she was quite fond of the redhead. How it was that the two had never engaged in friendly competition before was beyond her. Thus, Kat had put in a request to management to take her on in a best of three falls match to give them both a chance to put on an instant classic and really tear the house down!

With an excited smile, she awaited the arrival of her friend and her opponent for tonight with a few choice words in mind to give her when the two finally met in the ring: "This was a long time coming."

Erin watched with excitement as her friend made her way into the ring. She had known the other woman for a bit and had always wanted to test her strength against the blonde. Sure Kathrine was a weight class above her, but that didn't bother Erin in the slightest. In fact she was quite puzzled as to how someone an inch shorter than her was even considered bigger. Nevertheless Erin had been itching to take on a heavyweight for quite some time. The redhead was eager to prove that she was anything but 'middle'.

"And her opponent, weighing in at one hundred and sixty two pounds...ERIN...QUINNNNNNNNN!"

And with that introduction Erin made her way to the ring, waving to the crowd as she passed them by. Though she was slightly annoyed that they had announced her weight, it hit her that the actual distinction between weight classes was weight and not size. Trying not to let herself become lost in though she would hope into the ring and focus on her opponent.

While today she would be going up against a friend, the Irish brawler would try to treat this just like any other match. Erin knew taking it easy on her friend could spell trouble. The only change she had made was that her usual purple outfit was switched with a green variant. She figured it might be fun to don the classic Irish colors, red hair, pale white skin, and a green outfit. She'd do her flag proud.

With her usual grin Erin walked right up to Kat and raised her hand for a quick high five. "You know before I looked at our matchup I never knew you weren't in my weight class?" The redhead commented. "Always figured we were pretty much the same. But I guess today I'm taking down my first heavyweight." She said quite casually, her confidence in herself on full display. "Well anyway I'm sure we'll have fun. Good luck though, cause you'll need it." Erin said, ending her conversation with a slight chuckle. She quickly made her way to her corner and tried to keep herself from bouncing up and down in excitement. She could already tell it was going to be one hell of a fight.

When Erin made her appearance and her name was called, Kat watched her make her way to the ring. She meant to compliment the red head on her green ring attire. It certainly fit the Irish thing she had going on. And from the few Erin matches or highlights Kat had, seen, she never saw her friend wear it, so she assumed it was new. When Erin had entered the ring and approached her, Kat happily reciprocated the high five and answered her with her usual smile.

"Yeah, true. Always felt like we were similar enough in weight, but I guess the cut off at L-A-W was just the right number to separate us."

But Erin's reply and subsequent follow up before she left for her corner would have Kat slightly turning her head and "Oh"-ing at those verbal jabs.

"Oooof, Erin when did you step up your trash talk-game, girl?" Katherine commented. Though the two had only hung out a few times, Kat had yet to see this confidence, competitive side of her red headed friend. The masked blonde had to assume that Quinn saved most of her morale and haymakers for the ring. And tonight was the night she'd experience it first hand!

Kat waited near her own corner for the sound of the bell. She stretched lightly and adjusted her masked before staring at Erin across the ring with fire in her blue eyes and stating: "No hard feelings, right?"

At the sound of the bell, Kat would calmly walk out of her corner. She held her arms and hands out, seemingly ready to lock up. Hart would try to close the distance to grapple with Irishwoman. She'd attempt to pit her strength against Erin's and push forwards to force her back, hopefully towards one of the corner of the ring!

Erin couldn't help but laugh at Kat's comment. "Well I stepped it up just for you." The redhead replied and stuck her tongue out. Though she didn't think she acted much differently outside the ring perhaps she was a bit more toned down. Today though Erin would make sure she was cranking all her dials to max. It wouldn't do her any good to hold back. She meant what she said about taking down a heavyweight today.

The next statement came as a bit of a relief to Erin. She always preferred her matches to be friendly competitions, or at the very least free of cheep tricks. "Yeah of course not. Well... as long as you don't pull my hair anyway." The redhead commented, trying to make it fairly obvious how much she hated that.

After their short conversation all that was left to do was wait until the bell rang. It was only a few seconds before that happened and Erin eagerly made her way to the center of the ring. "Heh, now you're talking my language." Erin said with a grin as she locked hands with Kat. If there was one thing that the redhead enjoyed it was showing off her strength. She'd attempt to shove her opponent backwards but she soon found there to be a surprising lack of progress. "Stronger...than I thought." She mumbled, still trying to increase her force and step forward.

Kat would also laugh when Erin did. Despite the teasing, the bond between the two was clear.

The masked wrestler rolled her eyes a bit when Erin mentioned hair pulling. Kat had been throwing down in the ring for a long time. Hairpulling was something she very seldomly found herself engaged in. She certainly couldn't fathom herself doing it to someone she viewed as a friend like Erin. Hart chose to brush it off and take it as yet another joke.

After the bell sounded, both women met near the center of the ring. As much conviction as there was behind Erin's intentions of besting a heavyweight LAW wrestler, Kat was mean what she said when she promised there'd be no hard feelings. There wouldn't be any because she'd be giving it her all and trusted Erin to do the same.

Katherine grit her teeth as she locked hands with Erin. The two women's muscles would flex as they tried to overpower one another! Kat tried to force the red head back. She was able to gain some measure of control, but Erin's strength was more than respectable. Quinn wasn't one of those middleweights that Kat could just freely chuck around the ring. At least not this early in the match. When Erin commented on Kat's strength and began to step it up, Kat widened her eyes, channeled her cat gimmick and reacted instinctually by letting up a bit. She'd allow Erin to push forwards and into her. Kat would attempt to catch the red head as she moved forward with a well placed knee to the stomach! If successful in hitting Erin, she'd attempt to follow up immediately by trying to slip behind Erin and position herself by hooking her leg around Erin's own and trying to lock her into an Abdominal Stretch!

Erin seemed evenly matched with Kat as neither of them were able to make much progress at the moment. That of course wouldn't stop the redhead from trying though. If there was one thing she was stubborn about it was that she always had to be the strongest. Her persistence would prove to be troublesome his time though as her opponent let up, causing Erin to involuntarily lunge forward, yelping as she lost balance.

Next came a hard impact to Erin's stomach. "Gaaaaghhhh!" The redhead groaned, doubling over and grabbing her stomach in pain. She figured Kat was pretty strong but wasn't expecting her to hit like a bus. She couldn't help but think that was probably a bit her own fault since she was stumbling forward. Much to Erin's dismay Kat had no intention of giving her any time to catch her breath and quickly slipped behind her. As much as Erin wanted to prevent her foe from getting behind her, she needed some time to take a breath.

The redhead felt herself being put into an uncomfortable position. Not sure exactly what was happening Erin would just try to drive her elbow back into her opponent's ribs before it was locked in place. She wasn't about to make things easy for her friend. "Nnnngg...no way in hell!" Erin declared, insistent that she stay out of trouble early in the match. If she wasn't able to land a solid hit though the redhead had a bad feeling that she was in for some punishment. Perhaps it was time for her to rethink her usual plan A.

Kat was able to sink her knee into her Irish foe's gut. She made sure to follow up quickly following the strike. She knew she had to make good on this opening while it lasted. In this moment, Kat slipped behind Erin in a fluid motion, clearly with something in mind. Katherine had always wrestled an honest, technical style. And she had full intentions of employing that style against her friend in this contest.

Though Erin wasn't the most technical wrestler out there, she hit hard when it counted, and that rang true now just as it did at any other time. Kat had just hooked her leg around Erin's when she got hit with a hard elbow to her side! The blow certainly hurt. Kat reacted immediately by holding her side and bending forwards slightly, wincing for a second before trying to recover.

"Ugh!! That smarts..." She said before trying to regain her composure, stand straight and aim a clubbing forearm blow at her redheaded foe's back! She'd try to answer back as she did: "Yes way! We're doing this!"

If The Super Kitty was able to recuperate throw her forearm in time, she'd attempt to follow through with her efforts and lock Quinn in an Abdominal Stretch submission near the center of the ring! Kat would grit her teeth and lock her hands, making sure to wrench her friend's torso firmly! She'd try to find an opening through her opponent's struggling to release her grip and aim a punch at Erin's bear stomach before attempting to fully reapplying the hold, again! Kat would still be feeling an ache in her site, but she attempted to repay the Irish lass by sustaining some damage to her friend's core!

Erin threw her elbow back and felt it drive into Kat's side. Unfortunately she didn't have the positioning to hit nearly as hard as she wanted. She managed to cause some discomfort but not enough to be let go. In fact it seemed she only invited retaliation in the form of a hard strike to her own back. "Gaaaah!" The redhead cried out. She would have fell forward had it not been for her opponent holding her back, now a bit tighter than before.

Soon Erin felt herself being painfully stretched back. "Ahhhh! Sh...shit!" The redhead yelled. While she might have been good at taking hits, being stretched the wrong way wasn't her forte. Erin continued to groan as she felt the pressure build around her abs. "Nnnng...damn it!" The redhead would try to shake and squirm around, doing anything she could think of to make it harder for her friend to continue holding her in place.

Erin had to think of something quick if she didn't want this to be the shortest match of her career. Using her free arm she would raise it before trying to drive her elbow right into Kat's hip. "Sorry about the elbows" Erin would comment if she landed it." Promise I'll punch you or something." She said through gritted teeth.

Though that first elbow was painful, because Kat was still fresh in this match up, she was able to recover from staggering quickly and answer back with a clubbing blow to her purple clad foe's back! After landing the hard strike, she reapplied her Abdominal Stretch hold and ensnared Erin's using all the limbs available to her. Kat hadn't been aware of Erin's dislike of being stretched or put in holds. But their next interaction would clue her in somewhat.

The masked woman strained and grimaced as she tightened the Abdominal Stretch. All the while she heard her red-headed gal pal curse and felt her writhe and flail. Despite the resistance, Hart grit her teeth, kept her fingers locked and her hold kept in place. She knew there was no way Erin was giving up this early, but this chance to soften her up was something a pro like Kat wasn't going to fail to capitalize on. After several seconds of Erin's squirming, Kat sought to stifle her foe by aiming a punch at Quinn's already strained abs. She'd pull back one hand before balling it up into a fist and cocking her arm back, but just before she could throw it forward, Erin drove her elbow into Katherine's bare hip!

"UGH!" Kat groaned as she was struck.

Her blow was preemptively stopped by Erin's elbow! Though it hurt Kat, it made sense to her why all the elbows came her way. It was probably the most efficient strike her opponent could use from her vantage point. Kat's hand went from being ready to sock Erin in the gut to being placed on her own hip to try and ease some the pain. Despite the elbow, Kat actually managed to chuckle after Erin apologized and promised to punch her rather than elbow her.

"Haha, you'd probably have an easier time punching if you turned around." Kat said while slightly bent over and holding her hip. The Super Kitty would then place both hands on her slightly smaller foe's hips and attempt to spin her around. If successful in doing so, she'd lunge forward and extend her arm in an attempt to floor the Irish lass with a Lariat!

Erin felt her elbow sink in to Kat's hip. While she had no way of seeing her foe's reaction, she figured that since she felt a lot less pressure from the hold that she had at least done something. The brawler just wished that her positioning didn't make an effective move so difficult. She very quickly appreciated how good of a technical wrestler her friend was to have quickly restrained her. "You're gonna let go eventually!" Erin said as she tried to endure until that moment.

Erin's moment to retaliate would come soon enough. As soon as Kat started to turn her around the redhead would take her advice. Spinning around Erin would use the slight momentum to throw her hardest punch at the Super Kitty. While she wasn't really able to do much aiming, the punch would land somewhere on her friend's upper body she was sure.

Turning around, Erin would see Kat's arm flying right towards her. The redhead wanted to make a witty remark about her friend helping her punch easier but she barely had time to speak. Even if she hadn't thrown a punch, the Irish brawler doubted she would have had time to dodge Kat's attack. The two wrestlers would collide. "Gaaaah!" The redhead cried out as she was sent to the floor. She only hoped her strike had done as much damage to Kat.

Falling flat on her ass Erin would shake her head. She felt a bit groggy for a moment but that would quickly pass. It was now very clear to her that underestimating her friend's strength would be a costly mistake. She always figured Kat could wrestle, but Erin was a bit unprepared for just how much of a challenge she was in for.
