It's Showtime!!! Irina Kozlov (D) vs Hangaku

Irina was in the backroom doing her final stretching as the door to the backstage was knocked.

"I'm coming!" She shouted with excitement, unwrapping her toned legs from around her neck as the contortionist got to her feet and started making her way to the gorilla position. Her debut in LAW would mark Irina's first match in Japan, eager to learn from one of the last remaining professional wrestling hotspots after performing for moderately sized promotions over in Europe. Of course she as no stranger to the big stage due to her experience as a circus performer and she was looking to dazzle the LAW crowd with her abilities. Soon her music started to play and Irina makes her way through the curtains.

"Making her way to the ring from St. Petersburg, Russia! Weighing in at 117 pounds...Irina Kozlov!"

Irina smiled and waved as she made her entrance to a large crowd of people who were eager to see what the Russian was made of. As she reached the ring, Irina kicked off her flats and leaped onto the apron and landed with a split. She then crawled underneath the ropes and then a reverse handspring until she was standing upright, receiving a loud applause for her show of flexibility. Bowing to the crowd, she turned towards the stage as she eagerly awaited her opponent.

"I knew there were clowns in this league, but I didn't think they'd bring the actual circus here too."

"Be nice, Himeko-chan. Need I remind you this is my match." Hangaku finished her hair as a smaller girl tightened her kimono sash. Apparently her next opponent would be a performer of sorts from a European circus, at least according to the princess's notes. Hangaku herself rarely looked over much of her opponent's files and information aside from the basics. Every match should have some surprises after all. "And I'll have you know I'm a performer myself. Does that make me another clown?" As playful as her tone was, there was an edge to it. The princess only gave a short huff as the smaller girl finishing tying her sash. Teasing aside, Hangaku was looking forward to this. Seeing how a fellow performer of a different culture fought would be quite the show. Combat and performance had a rather thin line after, and a European performer at that had the woman curious. East and West colliding and all that. It'd be a chance to see something interesting at the very least. And given how the crowd was reacting, even through muffled doors Hangaku knew this person had some kind of pull to her.

"Well, I'm off to play with the so-called clown then."

The princess only gave another huff, and the smaller girl wished her luck before Hangaku walked off and onto the stage. And the first of note was how large the crowd was. This was big even for a debut, and it was a rather excited crowd at this. Hangaku looked to the ring as she walked down in slowly, sultry fashion, seeing a rather cute and colorful young girl. The two-toned hair, the bright and pink outfit, it was just too adorable. She looks like a watermelon. Hangaku noted with a smile.

As she slide into the ring, she smiled and bowed at her opponent. "Here's to a wonderful match, Suika-chan." Oops, I named her that in my head, but I didn't mean to say it aloud... Oh well~

Irina was in the process of stretching as her opponent, Hangaku was coming down to the ring, the crowd brimming with excitement over whats to come. When Hangaku came to the ring and accidentally spoke the wrong name, Irina raised a brow and smirked.

"Confusing me for a lover, are you?"Irina said teasingly.

[dlamp]

Hangaku blushed, pouting somewhat. Okay, she opened herself up for that one, but the comment still stung a little. Actually, I think I had a fling with a Suika-chan once... Well, the time for that wasn't here or there, it was time for the match. "My, aren't we cheeky." She shot back, giving a playful smirk of her own. "I think I will keep calling you Suika-chan then." At the girl seemed nice enough, teasing aside. As for how she fought... they'd both figure each other out in that regard soon enough.

"Though I do hope we have a good match together."

[Faeron]

"I would hope we have a good match as well." Irina replied with a smile, hiding the malicious intent within.

"I personally don't like to carry someone to the finish so don't hold bac!"

The bell rang and Irina was quick to duck down to try and snatch the legs of Hangaku, eager to slam her down to the mat to get the match started.

Just as the bell rang her opponent was already springing into action, grabbing Hangaku by the legs and throw her back. "Whoa!" Hangaku tumbled back at first, but was able to catch herself, using her hands to break the fall back somewhat with her back arched. This girl was eager, Hangaku had to give her that much, hungry for a fight and to win. "Alright then Suika-chan, no going easy then!" She lifted up one of her legs, trying to shake her opponent off with a bit of force.

[Faeron]

Irina raised a brow in amusement as Hangaku managed to catch herself somehow. Noticing the shift in Hangaku's legs, Irina made a short hop and dropped knees onto her opponent's gut as she looked to flatten Hangaku.

[dlamp]

There were many things Hangaku was expecting in response to trying to shake off her opponent. Maybe a kick to her side, or a quick retreat, or even a leg submission of some kind to keep her in place. However...

"Ooof!"

A sudden knee drop was not on that list, and Hangaku folded like a table as Suika's knees collided with her stomach, making her gasp out in shock as she laid flat on her back. It seemed Suika was more unorthodox that she thought, Hangaku was now struggling to catch her breath as punishment for her ignorance.

[Faeron]

With Hangaku flattened, Irina shifted positions so that the Russian was over Hangaku's face. Irina pulled Hangaku's head off the ground to give her enough space to position it between her thighs and clamped down hard to start squeezing her opponent with a head scissors.

[dlamp]

Still catching her breath, Hangaku remained flat on the canvas, her breath slowly coming back to her as she came to. Though just as she was starting to take in air again it got cut off, Irina using Hangaku's stunned state to force her into a tight and suffocating head scissors.

"A-Aah..." Hangaku was shocked awake from the action, her hands immediately gripping at Irina's ankles and trying to pry them apart, all while trying to kick and roll about to make the scissors as hard as possible for her opponent.
