Victory Via Pinfall, Submission, DQ or KO
Isa couldn't deny it. She was nervous.
The reason for it wasn't that she would have felt weak tonight, or physically unfit to have a match. The reality was far from that - in fact, she felt well-rested, strong, and very powerful.
The reason was neither that she would have lacked in training or physical preparation. No, for the past week or so, the blonde had gone through a rigorous rehearsal and exercise program, making sure that all her skills were freshly in her memory.
So what was the problem?
Well, this was her debut in LAW. And while she had known that it was going to be coming some time soon, tonight's match had been announced to her literally a couple of hours ago.
Sure, she was all ready for a match - in theory, and physically. In practice, she had had very little opportunity to prepare mentally for tonight's match, or consider her strategy or conditions. And this was her debut...
How was the LAW ring actually going to be like? How was the arena? She had never stepped a foot into it before... How were the crowds going to be? Were they going to like her? Or were they going to be seeing her as just another newcomer to get her ass kicked? She had no idea about how they'd be reacting to her...
Those were just a couple of examples of things Isa had no idea of. But what was the worst of them all?
She had no idea who was Helena Dubois.
Spoiler
But anyone who knew Isa, also knew that she was one to hide her nervousness very well if necessary. Thus, as the Angel of Ice now began making her way down the ramp towards the unknown, she stayed cool as ice, with a gentle smile on her face, waving graciously at the crowds, who were - thankfully - appearing to receive the newcomer well to the tunes of her Anabantha entrance theme.
Sliding graciously into the ring, the statesque blonde proceeded to jump up, get seated and pose for the crowds on the top rope at each side of the ring, before calmly making her way towards her corner, settling there to wait for the arrival of her opponent - arrival of the unknown.
If Isa had had the chance to prepare herself better mentally for the match, she might have asked for a microphone and greeted the crowds for a bit. But she did not have that luxury this time, so the blonde decided not to address them this time, unless her opponent was going to be keen to grab a microphone.
