Rosie Knuckles stepped out onto the stage as Skulls by Halestorm played. She had a confident smile on her face as she licked her lips, soaking in the mixed reaction she was getting from the crowd. Any noise was good noise for her, and she threw a fist up, shouting at them to get louder as she walked down the ramp, fist still held high!

The Pink-Haired Pugilist had entered the ring, rolling under the bottom ropes and stood up, jogging to the corner and stepping on the middle ropes, nodding out to the crowd. A No Holds Barred Match. A Knockout Match. A Rookie. It was a trifecta of pain in Rosie's favor and she loved the idea of it. Her opponent was a looker, at least, and she did like beating up the cute ones despite being very deceptively adorable herself. The pigtails, the pink, her facial features: if it weren't for her glare and her mean punches, she could pass for a regular soft cutie in this league.

Hopping off the middle ropes and heading to her corner, she lounged back on it briefly before she began stretching her arms and rolling her wrists, waiting for her opponent to come out to the ring so she could get a look at Miss Fallacy herself and think about how pretty she'll looked knocked the F out.

Time to make her stamp. Today was a good chance to gain some much-needed steam and propel herself to the upper-echelons of this promotion. She was certain she could do it, starting tonight with the crowd on her side and her respective opponents beneath her heels… Not that she liked to step on people. Neither was she a stickler for knocking people out, but tonight, that streak would have to be broken!

Kicking in her theme: This is It, Evelyn skipped onto the stage. Her jumps were lifted by the energy she wore, lifting a finger above her head, accompanied by the sway of her hips motioning side to side. Garnering a positive cheer, the ever-lively Evelyn started making her way down the rampway, carrying the same skip from before. She exchanged high-fives from side to side, ushering in the occasional spin before hopping up to the ring apron. Landing on a single knee, she placed a foot down, then looked back towards the crowd, waving before joining the pinkette inside the ivory square. Scaling the turnbuckle, she gave the crowd two finger guns. One by her hip, the other arm extended outward. It became a lasting thing in the little gimmick she’s been building, trying to amp up the crowd anyway she can.

She hopped down, turning around to approach her opponent. Brimming with nothing but good wishes, she extended a hand towards her adversary, tilting her head at their attire, admiring it just a little. They sure seemed like the nice type, and they were so adorable with that hair, she was certain they were harmless! In contrast, Evelyn donned the blue and red-striped cropped vest with star-spangled tops and bottoms, baring an American theme alongside her exuberantly styled pearl-white hair, that both had sass and a bit of class!

“Hey, cool hair, you little devil! It looks like you’ll be losing to me today, so let's make this a good, fair match, alright?”

Rosie kept her eye on her opponent as she came down to the ring, not looking particularly impressed by her pandering to the crowd. Instead, she began to focus on remaining limber for the match ahead of her, rolling her eyes a bit. Shaking out her limbs, she began to step forward more towards the center of the ring, pausing when Evelyn spoke to her, giving her a questionable look, then turned to outright humor. "...For real?" asked Rosie Knuckles, putting a hand on her own chest, then laughed.

"Yeah, okay. How about you compliment my hair after the match, babe, when you're done picking your teeth off the mat," said the pink-haired pugilist, stepping forward into Fallanger's personal space. "Because I'm not playing these games," she'd add, and even before the bell rang, she would go for a quick headbutt, looking to rock the newbie right at the start of the match!

Scrutiny would dictate she’d rethink her assessment. This lighthearted pink-haired was the exact opposite of what she first thought. Rude. Bold and a little ferocious! It made the prospect of knocking her Lala land a bit easier… Just a bit. Scoffing, she folded her arms over her chest, standing firm with a narrow posture, feet at shoulder-width. As an added insult, she turned her head to the side, pinching the bridge of her nose and waving the second in front of her face, then returned to their staredown.

Like Rosie had mentioned, she decided to play a little game to lighten the tone, but her opponent punished that exact thing. Thinking herself safe until the bell, she mounted no defence to that incoming headbutt, forcing her head to snap backwards. For a moment, her knees limped, almost like she was about to crumble but simmered into a stumble, followed by a short whimper. “GAH! O-oww ow..”
She held her nose again, this time out of pain than to play a petty joke on the pugilist.

“So that’s how it’s gonna be, huh?! Alright, you bubblegum little bitch, so much for being nice!”

Despite taking the blow, Evelyn swiped with her other arm, starting from her opposite hip; she swung in a diagonal arc to try and land a stinging backhand across their face.

Rosie Knuckles would connect with her stiff little headbutt right on the schnoz of her opponent, grinning broadly and satisfied with herself. She watched the girl recoil as the bell sounded, cockily standing in front of her. She then just stood there, waiting for Evelyn to make her move, and what a move she made: a spinning backfist, which Rosie didn't even attempt to block or dodge from. Instead, she got cracked with it and her head whipped to the side. Rosie, herself, staggered to the side once, and she winced, putting a hand to her cheek, which caught the brunt of the blow.

Surprisingly, the cotton candy-haired girl smiled after, licking the inside of her mouth, nodding a few times. She gave an approving nod to Evelyn, gesturing to her with her free hand. "The funny part is... that was me being nice," stated Rosie ominously. And then, she would come right at Evelyn like a bat out of hell, starting to unload a flurry of punches towards her, seeing what ones might connect. But at the end of it, she was trying to get Evelyn's guard off of what she was really after, which would be a big front kick right towards her opponent's stomach!

Perfectly thrown and executed, but Rosie didn’t seem too fazed. Apart from the stumble, she didn’t see much that indicted strife. They’d be tough. To counter that, she’d need to keep the offence up, somehow… With that in mind, Evelyn felt like she had a plan, the pain in her nose fading away as seconds passed by.

“Uh-huh, and your headbutt was just a confession of love.”

Nursing their situation with sarcasm, she bided her time to slide her right foot back, jutting forward her left shoulder. Once the barrage came, she folded up an arm and made a makeshift guard, tucking her head behind it. Any blows coming to the body, or left side passed without a hitch, causing her footing to waver and fall back once. Likely pursued, Evelyn focused on bearing the storm until her offence let up. Right before the kick, she lowered her guard, thinking this moment was her time to counter; she was horribly punished by that kick, square in the abdomen. “NGH!”

Breath shot out of her like a cannon, spitting at the ground as she bent over, arms coiling around her stomach as she started to stumble sideways - an attempt to escape any future onslaught, but everyone knew how futile that was. "Crap..."

Rosie's flurry was more timed and precise than Evelyn had probably noticed. Each placed with intent, causing her to maintain a defense. Putting her on block enough that she would want to fire back when there was an opportunity was a part of Knuckles' plan, and when she let Fallanger have a single moment to go after her, she threw that mighty kick square into her belly, blasting the air out of her.

The brawler grinned arrogantly and yelled, "Whoo! Sorry for you, but you're not my type. I don't dig soft chicks." Rosie would then wait for the precise moment as Evelyn tried to get away before running at her and leaping into the air and attempting to grab hold of Evelyn by her hair, and when she came down, she would attempt to crash her opponent's face directly into her knee as she landed with the hopes of delivering a crushing impact to her face!

Volley after volley, Rosie bombarded Evelyn’s guard with unwavering prowess. Each one stung, unmistakable bruising as her muscles swelled in protest. Outlast this. You can outlast this. She told herself. The striking prowess was admirable, but she still felt hopeful, confident in her ability to wear her somehow down. But, when she thought she had her chance, Rosie’s well-timed kick popped the balloon of that hopeful dream. It felt timed, or Rosie had the reaction speed of a Chrono wizard; she was starting to think like either was possible.

“That…” Heave, heave, “right?”
Her feet walked forward, growing a mind of their own as Rosie didn’t let up. Her head dipped down towards the mat, hearing the thumps of Rosie’s footwear barrel towards her. Unable to defend, her hands shot up to grab Rosie’s wrist, once again, failing to see the intention before it was too late. Falling forward, her face crushed against Rosie’s knee. She screamed; briefly, her hands fell from Rosie’s hands to grab her face, her frame having bounced and rolled off to the side, thumping the mat with her back. Her knees were brought up, feet planted as they stomped, shaking her head back and forth while her countenance remained concealed behind two hands, whimpering as she welded both eyes shut to bear the outcome.

"Ugh... This is my least favourite part." Mumbling to herself.

The knee drop facecrusher came and went without a hitch as Rosie cracked the face of her opponent against the hard point of her knee! Resting on one knee, Rosie had a huge smile on her face as she casually wiped it off, looking back at her hurting opponent, covering her face. Knuckles would then laugh as she was whimpering and muttering to herself. "Oh yeah, girly?" said the pink-haired babe, rising and coming over to face Evelyn again.

"Because this is my favorite part," said Rosie with a malicious tone to her voice. She would then simply walk over and then reach down, trying to grab hold of of the hand that had previously backhanded her with the intent to pin it to the mat. If successful, Knuckles would then step on Evelyn's forearm and then attempt to give a big stomp onto her hand with her other foot, hoping to seriously hurt her one hand in the process!

Being mashed by bone wasn’t an ideal way to start things. A headbutt, a kick, now a facebuster. She needed to find her footing, both literally and figuratively, lest this will be the pace of her early match-ups. Her opponent’s mockery was like knives twisting in her ears, carving up that pre-match confidence, leaving behind only frustration for both Rosie and herself. That festering frustration served as a growing motivator. To tough it out, as a professional should! Placing two brown-gloved hands against the canvas, she pushed her top half up until she was halfway to being upright. She blew hair from her face, having been splashed in the crash.

“Were you listening?! Just wait until I get up, you sadistic bi-”

Once her arm had been taken, pinned to the mat like a nail had pierced it through, a heel squeezed her forearm, Rosie’s boot’s imprint ingrained in red upon the once seamless skin. She winced, closing one eye, tugging as her legs kicked. She tried to hook her ankle over the bottom lop to gain a modicum of leverage that might free herself, but after one big swing, her brown boots met nothing but mat.

“W-Wait, wait… ”

At first, a scream. Loud and sudden. Her hips jerked, turning on her side as her hand was stomped. All those tiny bones felt like they stabbed her simultaneously, delivering a lasting throb that honed its own pulse. She couldn’t use that hand, so she reached out with her second arm, trying to latch a sort of claw-grip on Rosie’s thigh and drag it down. If this measure could serve as any surprise to relieve her arm, she’d tuck it across her chess and start to roll towards the corner, vying for more distance.
