Jessica Wright vs. Toshimi Minami

Jessica was standing in the staging area. Thunder Ryuko, then Toshimi Minami. Going against former Wrestle Angels was one thing, but going against some of the best women the federation had was another thing entirely. Until LAW came along, there was no doubt that Wrestle Angels was the cream of the crop. A few of them migrated over here, but Jessica thought it was interesting that they were having her fight the very best of the very best. It was a far cry from her having to face jobber women who were just in the ring to promote their careers as models.

And Jessica took that as a good sign. She had a very strong record, and she was going to do everything in her power to keep that up for as long as she could. She had her bumps in the road, of course, but every wrestler did. Her bumps just happened to be a bit harder than some other women's, but that just made her stronger. At least, that was what she told herself.

It would have to make her stronger. She was going against tough women, and she was not going to stop any time soon. The Violent Violet had warmed up, as much as she could. Blood was pumping through her body, and the fire in her purple eyes was lit. It would only be mere seconds before she went out into the arena, and from there, anything could happen.

Little sister there's blood on the tracks...

Jessica's haunting intro music played as she made her way down the ramp. There was no turning back now. She made her way down to the ramp in an easy fashion, not looking to strain herself that much. Toshimi was more than capable of that, and she wanted to be nice and loose for the litany of submissions that would inevitably come her way.

She slid under the bottom rope and backed into her corner. Let's see who submits who, thought Jessica.

Toshimi hadn't been in too many matches here in LAW so far, she'd defeated Thunder Ryuko upon her entrance in this league, though she'd come up short against Megumi Mutoh as the tenacious Combat Genius had simply refused to give in. She wasn't going to suffer that fate tonight though. She knew well enough that her opponent tonight was supposed to be a tough combatant, and while she hadn't seen much of hers nor face her before...worth of mouth was enough to let the Iron Maiden know that she wasn't going to have an easy fight tonight.

The music of the Venus of Submission started to play out of the speakers and with it the purple clad woman stepped out onto the ramp. The crowd seemed to still favor the cold ice queen of a wrestler as she walked her way down towards the ring. She'd remain rather stoic looking as she went up and climbed into the ring, she seemed at first to not pay her opponent any mind as she walked towards the her corner and turned around, looking towards Jessica. Her eyes would be fixed on the woman now for the first time and she wasn't about to let them leave anytime soon.

The referee would soon ask them to step out of the corner for the general greeting, which Toshimi would do. Walking out of her corner and stopping in the center of the squared circle.

Jessica's eyes narrowed. As much as she wanted to shit talk, she thought the moment called for silence. It could have been the way that Toshimi looked, which was beautiful. What could be said about such a woman. It could have been the way Jessica felt, which was tense. The Violent Violet prided herself in her experience and a former Wrestle Angel was one of the few who could claim to have more ring time than Jessica. It could have been what Jessica was doing, which was scanning Toshimi with her eyes. Even now, before the match had started, Jessica was looking for any weaknesses that Toshimi had for her.

"They are not going to applaud for you any more once I break your face," Jessica threatened. She turned the look on her face into one that could have been hewn from stone. The Violent Violet took a few steps forward, and tried to intimidate her opponent physically as much as she could.

Stopping in the center of the squared circle, Toshimi would watch Jessica move up towards her and then start to speak, after a moment of silence between them the two of them, which the Iron Maiden appreciated. She would hear Jessica soon speak up, a threat that the woman barked out. Toshimi would answer her with a cold but confident stare as she would keep her arms by her side.

Had she wanted to answer she would have answered with something like " Hope your bite isn't as weak as your bark." Though she had no desire to speak, it was a pointless gesture. The whole smack talk thing was lost on the cold beauty. She simply took to shrugging her shoulders a bit and letting out a sigh. Though Jessica soon decided to step even closer, practically getting right into the personal space of the raven haired fighter.

Toshimi wouldn't move, and her gaze didn't shift from staring down the Violent Violet. What happened though was the referee stepping in besides to the to try and separate them from one another so she could call for the bell and start the match.

Jessica sniggered. She had seen this act before. There was a strong silent type that gravitated to wrestling, to be sure. Women who wanted their actions to speak louder than their words. Jessica thought it would be better to both speak loudly and carry a big stick. That was what got all the cameras following you, and that is what got you into the title shots. And at the end of the day, that was the only thing in the world that the Violent Violet actually wanted.

"What, are you too dumb to fucking speak? Can't put any words together in that useless brain of yours?" Jessica moved her head side to side as she spoke, looking at her opponent from all angles. It would take a lot to intimidate her, but Jessica was a lot.

Without taking a step back, she signaled to the referee that she was ready. And it was high time to figure out if she was telling the truth or not, in that regard.

Toshimi would keep her icey stare going as she watched Jessica, the brutish nature was what she expected from an American wrestler, she had seen it in a few of them. It was all boisterous and loud, disrespectful and generally foolish. So far it seemed as if Jessica was fitting that to a perfect T. Though it was too soon to get a clear picture of the woman, but....first impressions were generally correct.

Shaking her head a bit at the way that Jessica was acting, Toshimo would simply step forward and raise her arms, getting ready for the bell to ring. The referee called for the bell and with it the Venus of Submission would step forward as she sought to go in for a lock up with the Violent Violet. Aiming to go in for a collar and elbow tie up and test out this American brute.

Jessica felt the icy glare that Toshimi gave her. It didn't faze Jessica in the slightest. There were crueler things done to her in her lifetime. Although, now that she thought about, most of those things were done by mediocre wrestlers, such as her brothers or overweight ladies in tiny singlets across the midwest. The woman staring at her now was a former Wrestle Angel, and one of the best ones at that. There were hundreds of women that she had tied up in knots, and beaten.

And Jessica was mere feet away from her now. The woman was going for a lockup, and Jessica gladly accepted. It was probably unwise to be this close to a woman who was as lethal as she was with submissions, but Jessica had a point to prove. Namely, that she was the strongest woman in the world. Which is why she started pushing as hard as she possibly could.

Watching the Violent Violet move in towards her as she offered that lock up, she would nod her head and then step forward as the two of them locked up into that collar and elbow tie up. The Venus of Submission would quickly brace against the buxom woman, holding the line as she felt the might of Jessica start to ramp up. Not that she wasn't surprised by the might that Jessica had, but she had squared off against plenty of powerful women!

She managed to hold her ground rather well...but after a few seconds Toshimi realized that this was a futile effort. She would deftly try and twist out of the lock up and grab onto one of Jessica's arms. Looking to twist in behind the back of the violet haired wrestler and try and lock her right up into a hammerlock! Trying to add upp the pressure on the arm of Jessica.

Jessica knew that Toshimi knew of her presence. She must have. There was that distinct push, the one that told Jessica that Toshimi was there to try and stop the tide, to hold the line for even a second. Their bodies were enmeshing with one another now, intertwining in a way that few other women on the face of the earth that could say that they enjoyed, or even experienced. And here Jessica was testing her mettle against a buxom, powerful wrestler.

But she wished she were in better circumstances. The hammerlock came off without a hitch, and now Jessica was at Toshimi's mercy. Jessica grimaced with pain, and tried to see if she could slip out of the hammerlock with a few deft moves and some fancy footwork.

Toshimi let out a nearly soundless grunt as she locked Jessica into the hammerlock and started to pull up on that arm of hers, looking to put as much pressure as she could on that limb of Jessica's. She was aware of the strength that the Violent Violet had behind her now and she was intent on taking that power away little by little during the course of this match, aiming to wear Jessica Wright down like she did with every proud and powerful woman that crossed paths with her.

Feeling Jessica jerk and try and footwork her way out of the hammerlock, Toshimi would simply try and keep close and keep it locked in. Seeing what Jessica was going for she would try and use her own leg to try and sweep out Jessica's legs out from under her and hope to bring the violet haired woman down onto her front with Toshimi trying to take a seat on her rear, keeping the hammerlock locked in as she tired to mount her foe.
