The lights dimmed in the LAW arena and suddenly a wailing guitar solo played for about ten seconds before puff of pyro went off. The song cut off after that and Mic Chick walked to the middle of the ring and then hung her head briefly, grinning. [color=
Then, when the vocals kicked in, the famed cover artist began to sing the words in a sexy, raspy voice into a microphone as she came down the ramp. There were many die-hard fans in the crowd, and when Mic Chick saw them, she took a moment to slap their hand as she sung, not missing a single beat, sounding like a serious professional. Her debut had been greatly anticipated, and she had teased her fans of it for a while over social media, so when they were in the crowd, they got loud for the singer.
When Mic got to the steel steps, she led the crowd in a chorus, waving her arm and commanding them rather effectively to move to the beat, and when the chorus was over, she stepped into the ring and the music cut off. She looked over at her redheaded opponent and gave her a wink before taking a spot in the center of the ring, looking out at the crowd with a big smile on her face, genuinely seeming grateful for the support as they rained cheers on her.
After enough time of this, Mic Chick tapped her microphone, forcing it to feedback, but not in any sort of painful way. She had a good touch with that. Then, finally, she spoke. "You guys feel that?" The rocker held up a finger, wagging it as she looked back up again. "I'm talking about feeling that electricity in this building right now, baby! Let's give it up for everyone here for keeping this place ALIVE!" She struck an adorable pose and held the mic in the air for the crowd to cheer, which they did loudly!
"That's what I like to hear! Now, do you guys know my opponent? Amaya Shizuko? Because believe it or not, but I do my research. I'm not a total idiot when it comes to this. See, I don't have any issues with Amaya. Not even one." She paused and then bobbed her head back and forth. "Buuuuut, I do have a concern. The girl doesn't know how to have fun, you know? And we like to have fun here, right?" There was a cheer in response, but Mic Chick waved a hand. "Of course we do. So all of us here, we have one goal tonight: And Amaya, I am calling you out."
With an intense look on her face, Mic walked to the ropes facing the ramp and glared at the entrance. "We're going to get you to smile--like a real smile here tonight. And I'm not talking one of those 'Doohoo! Victory is mine!' kind of smiles. I mean an 'I'm having a good time' smiles. Or hell, maybe even a 'Damn that girl who just kicked me in the head is cute' smiles. I'll take those bedroom eyes, sweetie, so long as you flash those pearly whites for me when you drop them on me!" The singer laughed and stepped back, unable to keep up the charade anymore.
"So come on down to the ring here, Lady Death Star. Mic Chick's got a little rock and roll and hustle and soul to show you. And you know I've got plenty to spare, so bring the scary face on, baby! I've got a boot it can kiss if you're feeling lucky!" Mic Chick ended by making a kissing noise into the mic and then threw it over her shoulder, walking back to the opposite end of the ring and leaning against the ropes, arms draped over the top, and reclining with a smirk on her face as the crowd went wild for her declaration. She was a showman, that was for sure. But she did feel like getting this chick to smile might be a good enough of an accomplishment for her in this match, or at least an eager challenge.
