The Commisioner's Orders!-Grace vs Korra ft. Rita.

Standard match: Robin Mendez is the special guest enforcer. Rita is the special guest referee

This match was complete nonsense. She had no issue taking on Korra in a fight but this fight was nothing more then a big show for Celeste to throw her weight around. Robin, to be special enforcer and Rita, her assistant as the special ref? Grace would need to borderline destroy this girl before Rita was able to call for a pin. Especially if her boss was watching which given the way she was talking about this match, she knew that this would mean no she wouldnt be letting this go.

Grace came out but she wasnt smiling. She knew she had to be smart and watch out for any tricks Korra would try or she would be beaten in a matter of seconds. Grace entered the ring looking around at the crowd as if expecting someone to come out and jump her. No such thing came and she was just waiting in her corner waiting for her opponent to show up.

And this was easily the best thing that could be happening to her. She didn’t need the help beating up someone like Grace but this way she could just beat on her opponent knowing a ref wasn’t about to get involved and force her away. It was rare she got to fight with little restraints and she was looking forward to it. Korra started her march to the ring by herself, slow but for different reasons then Grace did. She was enjoying the pressure that had to be on her opponent and staring at her with such malicious intent it was scary. Her eyes never left Grace, rolling into the ring with Korra redirecting her sights to Grace and blowing a mock kiss her way. “I heard your hard to break. I really hope there’s some truth to that.”

Rita would be out next as she was dressed in an simple black and white t-shirt that was way to small for her and black shorts as she waved at the fans. As she approached the ring she would feel bad for Grace as she did not think the woman deserved what was about to happen. Since the black skinned woman was under orders to make sure Korra would win as she climbed into the ring.

Seeing both wrestlers staring at each other it was clear their they did not like the other person as she said ''alright let's go over the rules ladies.This will be an match that can be won by pinfall , submission or knock out. Secondly my word is law , and if you cross me then you will be disqualified. So do you both understand what I just said or should I dumb it down for you''as she could not help , but give Korra an look as she said dumb it down for you.

Robin followed shortly after her watching Rita enter the ring in her not very fitting ref gear, she was just in a short ref shirt and her normal shorts and unlike Rita she didn’t enter the ring instead looking at Grace and then Korra. Leaning on the ring apron she looked as serious as she could be. Korra for her part listened to Rita, her smirk noticeably turning to a scowl as she watched her direct her last comment more at her then at Grace. “Im not the one you need to worry about. You just be a good little ref and count the pinfall when I win.” she said back at her before turning to Grace and then going to her corner. Robin also noticed the way Rita was acting, and she wasn’t liking it. It would undermine Celeste if they allowed Grace to win, she would need to keep Rita on the Straight and narrow...the straight and narrow that she decided on.

Rita she was unsure of. By the looks of things she seemed to have a beef with Korra but that didnt mean she could outright defy her boss who was almost certaintly looking to humiliate her. All while considering the odds that she was going to be facing an uphill battle regardless, this Korra chick was someone that she knew she would be in trouble with in a normal match..now? This was going to be tough.

She kept on with a brave face though, nothing would benefit showing all that doubt. Nodding to Rita's rules she stepped back as well not saying anything, waiting for the bell to ring so she and Korra could get this match started.

Rita had to restrain herself from not punching Korra in her face when she talked down to her , but knew if she did that Celeste would be furious with her. As the white haired woman was just hoping that her boss would get fired from her current position sooner then later , but also knew how unlikely it was as she was at least happy Grace seem to respect her. Not that it would do any good as she knew what her job was tonight , and sadly Grace was not going to walk out of here the winner unless an miracle happened , and she somehow manage to knock Korra out.

Still it was time to get this match started as she would step back as she yelled ''ring the bell''as an moment later that would happen as this match was officially underway.

Great, seems the ref has a conscious, no matter her boss didn’t and she didn’t seem like she was going to be doing much to defy the one who wanted results. Letting the bell ring Korra would rush her, trying to flatten Grace against the corner right at the beginning. Of that connected she would start throwing punches to Grace while she was trapped in the corner.

Grace was more then ready for any foul play. And while Korra rushing her wasnt exactly foul, just aggressive she was plenty ready for that as well. Rather then panic or try to take the hit she quickly moved out of the way of the hit and try to let Korra hit the corner instead before turning to try and start throwing punches her way instead while she was in the corner.

"I dont know what your deal is but I'm not going down without a fight lady." Grace kept throwing punches to her trapped her foe looking to fight her off as best she possibly could. Knowing full well letting up would just allow Korra to strike again.

Korra expected an early lead. But it seemed her opponent had the good sense to deny her such a thing. Korra ended up hitting the corner rather then the far squishier Grace and bounced off the turnbuckle only to feel Grace trying to punch at her over and over again while she was there. Korra has little choice but to cover up and try to defend herself from the blows while she waited for a moment she could get to attack again.

Korra was a fight happy maniac. At least that was her first impression of the women, and it was something that felt more encouraged with each passing minute after the struggle continued. But she was not someone she could knock over easily. The way she covered up to protect herself showed a great deal of understanding on how to block, she lowered her body and protected the important areas leaving little for Grace to work with it she wanted to hit anything substantial. Worse she knew that she had little time with the ref likely to count her out if she kept attacking too long.

So her only option was to try and grab her and pull her away from the ropes as best she could not looking to do much else in the interim while she looked for some measure of how to break down Korra’s defenses. Though she suspected Korra would not let herself be so easily moved around. At least not when she felt she might be able to counter from here.
