Erika was walking down the backstage area, trying to get herself physically and mentally prepared for the bout that was ahead of her that night. Her road on LAW had been a bit bumpy, sure, but that wasn't so bad! She had won some and lost some, and while she would've very much preferred to go undefeated and make a name for herself as an unstoppable youngster, that kind of stuff only happened in books, really. As she walked through the halls, she stopped when her eyes stumbled upon a poster on the concrete wall...

It was a poster from We Are Law 2019, with all the big names on it. And close to the center, was the Middleweight Champion herself, Tina Armstrong, holding her prized belt in all its glory. The german wrestler kept staring at the poster for a few moments, her eyes focused on Tina exclusively, before a confident smirk formed on her face, a newly awakened flame of confidence burning bright inside of her as she spoke to herself. "Just you wait, Papa and Mama. Your precious little girl will shine the brightest she can, and all these girls here in the locker room better be carrying their sunglasses... HRUAH!" Be it from a sudden burst of energy or from being just really pumped up, Erika made the irrational decision to punch Tina's face on the poster. Which was on a concrete wall. She immediately regretted it. "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Ow ow ow! Oh God this hurts, this hurts a LOOOOOOOT!" Shine bright, shooting star...

A LAW staff member waited by the entrance tunnel in the backstage area was crossing her arms, seemingly getting impatient as she looked around. "Where is Erika? Her match is coming up and she's nowhere to be found. I seriously hope she hasn't ru-" The staff member interrupts herself as she spots Erika from the corner of her eye. "Oh, there you are. Though..." She would silently point towards the big bag of ice the german wrestler held in one hand covering her right fist. "What happen-" "I don't want to talk about it." The staff member stood still for a moment, before shrugging. "You do you. Your match is coming up, and you are going up first." Erika nodded, putting the bag of ice on the ground as she shook her right fist for a bit to numb out the pain, before giving herself slaps on the cheek to focus. She wouldn't let... That get in the way of her suddenly found good mood!

With the cue given by staff, she ran through the tunnel that connected to the arena as her theme Jaeger blasted through the speakers on the arena. She stopped at the top of the ramp, looking at the crowd with a smile on her face as she raised her right fist into the air and roared out a "HWUOOOOAH!" for some reaction from the audience. Still not much, but she was slowly getting better. As she did this, the announcer spoke on the mic. "Making her way down the ramp, standing at 5'9'' and weighing 158 pounds! Hailing from Munich, Germany... ERIKA ADELHEID BECKER! As the announcer shouted Erika ran down the ramp, sliding under the ropes and stopping at the center of the ring, where she would stand up to one knee and spread her arms wise, looking at the crowd for a bit before fully getting up, and going to her corner as she waited for her opponent to arrive, wondering what she would be like...

Hyacinth

Hyacinth was pumped. She was going up against a woman she had never heard of before and the best part? She was German. Sure it wasn't the almighty Cicilia, but from what she was hearing, she sure came very close to it. Hyacinth had been trying to get her "friend" to give her a rematch for the longest time and every time the answer was the same, a resounding NO. Hyacinth was determined though, she wanted to prove to her that she could take her on if given the chance at a fair fight. Her neck popped with a loud crack as she leaned to one side, then to the other as she heard her opponent's music begin playing. Then, her own started playing and with that, she was out from behind the ramp and smirking at the crowd. Her body glistened in the lights as the crowd cheered for her and her opponent, calling both there names and giving an even louder cheer as Hyacinth began swaying her hips, giving the audience a rather sensual belly dance as she twirled in circles before she began making her way down to the ring.

"And making her way down to the ring, weighing in at 125 lbs and standing at 5'6...she is the purple beauty...HYACINTH!" and with that last introduction, the crowd was on their feet and screaming her name. Hyacinth was used to people cheering for her, but the energy the crowd was giving off tonight put a smile on her face. She rolled her shoulders before giving out high fives and a couple autographs for the fans before she made her way over to the ring. Her music continuing to blast over the loud speakers as she climbed up onto the side of the apron and grabbed the top rope, giving her buttcheeks a quick shake for the amusement of the crowd before she slowly and sensually made her way between the top and middle rope. When she was bent over and half way inside the ring, she stopped for the briefest of seconds to shake her butt one more time for the cameras before she finally made her way inside the ring, throwing her arms in the air and parading around. When she passed by her opponent, she gave her a little wink before going to her corner, climbing up on the ropes and throwing her arms up one more time. The fans were eating this up as they continued to cheer their names before finally Hyacinth made her way back down from the post and let the little ref girl check her over for any weapons.

Erika watched as her opponent made her way down the ring and... To say she liked to show-off the gifts and goodies that Mother Nature gave to her to the whole crowd watching would be an understatement, but aside from Erika finding Hyacinth to be a bit lacking in self-shame and preservation, she didn't have any major problems with what her opponent was doing. And if the crowd seemed to buy into it and cheer her for it... Good for her! But Hyacinth shouldn't go expecting the german wrestler to do the same.

Upon looking at her and hearing the announcer saying her credentials, a small smile formed on her face. From all her matches in the middleweight division, she had noticed a common trend: She usually had both the height and weight advantage on them, which was always a relief to know, given that it allowed her to stay to her favored plan most of the time. That being, getting up close and personal so that her opponents didn't even have time to think about what had just run over them. Still, she had learned from previous matches that her opponent's agility was a deciding factor, so she would have to gauge if she could keep up with them in speed before trying to do anything too fancy.

As the ref finished the preparations and checking Hyacinth, she went towards Erika, checking the azure-haired fighter for any weapons or illegal weapons. After clearing Erika, the ref went towards the center of the ring, gave the two of them one last look, before lifting her arm and shaking it towards the bell keeper, signaling for the match to begin.

DING DING DING!!!

Hyacinth smiled at the woman that stood across from her as she finally finished dancing for the audience’s amusement, giving the woman her full undivided attention. Normally this would be the part where her opponents usually shit talk her, but not this woman, she was different. Hyacinth gave her a little wink and bit her bottom lip a little before the ref finished checking her for weapons. The girl would then approach Erika, asking her if she were ready, do the same thing for Hyacinth, and then signal for the bell. Hyacinth wasted no time and moved quickly toward the center of the ring, waiting for the German wrestler before going into a collar and elbow lock up with her. Should the blue haired wrestler accept, Hyacinth would begin pushing against her in an attempt to drive her back into her own corner before she would let her go and start ramming her shoulder into the woman’s midsection as many times as she could before the little ref girl pulled her away.

After her opponent finished her entrance and went to her corner, Erika took a bit of time to gauge her opponent. Looking at the surface, she knew that she had both the size and height advantage over Hyacinth. so if she could keep the fight close and personal, she would initially, in theory, have the advantage. Yet, that only accounted for what she could see only. Erika knew not of her opponent's fighting style or skills, so the only option she had was to assume one slip or mistake could cost her this fight. Therefore, she would have to be cautious, but not passive. Patient, but not tentative. Give Hyacinth just enough space so that she's the one to make a mistake herself, then capitalize on that and just go from there. "Simple enough." The blue-haired german muttered to herself.

Choosing to brush off the wink and lip-biting as just taunting by her opponent's part, the referee signaled for the match to start. Locking her eyes on her opponent, she slowly made her way to the center of the ring where her opponent was already waiting for her. Upon noticing that Hyacinth's intentions were to grapple with her, Erika confidently accepted, locking up with her on a collar and elbow tie-up.

Immediately after, Erika felt her opponent pushing against her, trying to drive her into her own corner. The action surprised Erika a bit since she didn't expect what was basically a test of strength from someone who was at least three inches shorter than her. Her surprise, paired with Hyacinth's power for someone of her size, made it so Erika found herself being pushed back towards her corner, much to her dismay and self-cursing for breaking the plan she came up seconds before. "Gnh...!" However, it wouldn't take long for the german to get a hold of herself and focus on what to do to handle this situation.

Composing herself. she applied enough resistance to stay her ground and stop her opponent in her tracks, yet was not pushing back Hyacinth either, forcing the two's movement to a standstill. From here, she would focus on just using enough strength to keep Hyacinth from advancing. If her opponent kept pressuring and trying to advance, it would just mean that they would be wasting their stamina faster on the offensive then what Erika would waste on the defense, which was great for her.

At the same time, trying to make use of their situation to create an opening, the hand holding Hyacinth's collar would start to push down, trying to get Hyacinth to lower her head, while the hand on Hyacinth's elbow tightened its grip, attempting to control her arm. With the situation more controlled now, Erika looked up to her opponent and spoke in a determined tone.

"Good start... But it takes more than that to drive me back. Think you can do it, Hyacinth?"

Hyacinth smirked as Erika began to move backwards, “Good, I can start taking control now.” She thought to herself, but that train of thought disappeared the second the large German was able to stop the both of them in their tracks, causing Hyacinth to give a look of concern as she felt the woman before her offering only a small amount of resistance. This annoyed Hyacinth, but she wasn’t going to let Erika toy with her, “Mmm, I’m sure that, even if I tried, I’d only find myself being pushed in the opposite direction should you apply yourself...I think I might go for something different.” She smirked and would immediately move to bring the woman down with a drop toe hold. Should she succeed, Hyacinth would jump on her immediately and try her best to clamp on a side headlock and bring the woman’s face into her chest as much as she could so she could smother her a little, but not to much so as not to seriously injure her opponent.
