Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Match Type: Standard Match
Rules: Victory by submission, pinfall, or knockout
Rules: Victory by submission, pinfall, or knockout
----
It was looking like another day for Michiko where she could get into the ring and test her skills against an opponent that hopefully would stand up against her own. Truth be told, she wasn't as familiar with the woman she was told she would be facing next, who evidently was still making headway in her career in LAW. Nevertheless, Michiko hoped to be able to put her to the test. She could only hope that her opponent would be an honorable and just fighter this time. After so many tangles with ruthless heels, Michiko hoped she might be able to meet someone on even ground, someone she could respect and see eye to eye with even if they were on opposing sides of the battle.
Even if Michiko had been through this routine before, she didn't show any signs of getting tired with it. She came out to the ring with her usual energy and enthusiasm, holding a fist up to the crowd as she stood atop the entrance ramp and took in their cheers. As the lights shone down on her, Michiko got down and took off into a run towards the ring, lunging in through the ropes as she got there and rolling into its center. There, the lilac-haired woman popped back up to her feet with a cheer, ready to face whatever was ahead of her.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
It has been a while since Hinoka has stepped into the ring. A lot has happened since she attained her first victory. She attended a party with one of her past opponents and had a good time socialising. At the same time she made a few connections that helped further boost her career. Despite recent events, she was still a very driven fighter hoping to show the world that she shouldn't be taken lightly. She didn't know much about this Michiko person outside of having stepped in the ring with Agatha Svensson. Having clashed with the Scandanavian herself, Hinoka knew that she wasn't in for an easy match. Good for her. Even better if her opponent turns out to be an honourable fighter.
After being given her call, Hinoka stood up the entrance ramp smiling proudly with both arms raised high. In return she would be given her cheers and a few chants."Red Hot! Red Hot! Red Hot!" some fans repeated. The redhead tried to not roll her eyes in response to her new nickname. Her fanbase was quickly growing. She proceeded with her regular routine by walking down the ramp while taking the time to hi-five some of her fans. She climbed onto the apron and performed a 360 backflip into the ring resulting in a massive pop from the crowd. Hinoka turned around to face her opponent. Michiko's attire looked ordinary from her point of view, although her hairstyle did catch her eye. She decided to break the tension and step forward. Taking a deep breath "Hey there I'm Hinoka Taiyo. I heard you are pretty tough, so I hope you give me a decent challenge" she said trying to confident yet welcoming.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Michiko stood back as she watched her opponent enter the ring - and she had to admit, she was pretty impressed with what she saw. Despite Hinoka's relative inexperience in the ring, she seemed to really know how to get the crowd behind her, as they were already chanting for her. Michiko was someone who appreciated the value of a strong style and sense of showmanship, and this woman seemed to have it down pat. For that matter, her backflip into the ring was quite impressive in terms of her athletic skill. Placing her hands on her hips, Michiko nodded in approval of what she saw. This could well be an exciting matchup.
"Well, well," she said. "Looks like someone's excited for tonight. With hype like that, I gotta say, I am too!" Smiling to Hinoka, Michiko put out her hand to offer a handshake to her. "I'm glad to know my reputation precedes me, but I'll make sure I won't let you down!"

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Hinoka didn't see herself as a showwoman. The backflip was more like a routine thing to prove that she was 100% ready for another scuffled. Now she would be in the centre of the ring, making conversation with the fellow Japanese woman. "Excited? This is more like a normal day for me!" she responded trying to sound welcoming. At first glance her opponent seemed a honourable fighter. Being the good sport she is, Hinoka returned the handshake. "Same. There won't be any holding back from me. I am going straight to the top!" the redhead said proudly.
She returned to her corner and would do a few practice kicks to keep her energised for this likely long bout. The bell would ring shortly after thus beginning the battle of honour. Hinoka decided to watch her opponent like a hawk by constantly circling around Michiko with arms raised. She tried to find a weakness to exploit before swooping in.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Taking her opponent's hand and returning the shake, Michiko nevertheless couldn't help but smile playfully in response to the red-haired girl's admonition. Hinoka had fighting spirit in her, that much was for sure, but so did Michiko - and she was determined to meet that in her opponent as much as she could, one for one. "Easy for you to say now," she said, "but I could say the same thing about myself - and I'm gonna try my best!" She grinned wider, winking to Hinoka in a silent agreement that both women would give it their all, before she too would go back to her corner.
As soon as the bell rang, Michiko came out at her opponent with her eyes fixated on her just as much as Hinoka watched her as well. Every step she took would be measured and made with care, making sure not to show any weakness to Hinoka. When the time was right, though, it would be Michiko who would make the first move, lunging in closer to throw her weight against Hinoka in order to see if she could push her back, but also to grab a hold of her collar and elbow to lock up.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Hinoka and Michiko were alike in many ways in terms of personalities. What about their fighting styles and how will they mesh against one another? It was clear to Hinoka that she was in for a long match.
The two circled around each other like a bunch of wolves. Hinoka was willing to wait just a little long in case her opponent would slip up and leave herself wide open. However every step Michiko took was calculated not showing a single blind spot. After a few minutes of silence, Michiko lunged towards her. Luckily the redhead would be able to react in time and reached her arms out also holding her opponent in the collar-elbow tie up. "Trying to pull a fast one on me? I cannot blame you for trying." Hinoka exclaimed trying to gain an early advantage in this bout by pushing forward.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
The question of how their styles would match would certainly be an interesting one. From the looks of her entry, Michiko was dealing with an opponent who relied on agility and quick attacks, using her speed and acrobatic prowess to her advantage. This was in noticeable contrast to the lilac-haired girl, who, despite her showmanship and willingness to get the crowd excited with her flashy mannerisms, was more of a power wrestler in the ring. Nevertheless, both were committed to doing their best and giving it their all.
Michiko went in for the kill, but Hinoka was just as quick to retaliate by going to lock up with her as well. She gave a hard push, which caused Michiko to stagger a bit in her step. But despite the early slip-up, Michiko had no intentions of letting Hinoka keep any advantage for long, as she went to shove back at her just as hard in the hopes of evening out the balance between them. "You may have caught on, but I'm not out yet!"

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Hinoka had the early advantage and was able to push her opponent back a few steps. Unluckily for her this was only temporary as Michiko manage to shove back bringing the two back to the centre. Now that both wrestlers were asserting more of their upper body strength, it make to Hinoka's attention that she was actually at a disadvantage. She deduced that her opponent was someone who focused on power but did a variety of moves. This made her slightly nervous as Michiko could possibly tank everything and dish out just as much.
Gritting her teeth, Hinoka felt that she needed to separate soon or she will be on her knees in no time. With the lilac-haired girl too busy staring at her, Hinoka would try to make her lose balance by kicking her in the knee a few times. If Michiko would withdraw due to the pain, Hinoka would continue to hold before throwing her towards the ropes. Expecting a rebound, Hinoka would run to the opposite of the ring by bouncing off the other set of ropes. Upon meeting up with her opponent again, she tried clothelining her to the ground.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
Michiko let a confident grin cross her face as she kept her attention on Hinoka. She had managed to take back what could have cost her, and she was sure that if she kept this up she might be able to secure the advantage. But Hinoka also seemed to have that on her mind - and she was determined to prevent Michiko from getting away with that.
With a crack, the redhead's foot impacted Michiko's knee, causing her to stagger as her grip on Hinoka began to let up. That was soon followed by more, and before long, Michiko found herself breaking away from the lockup, as her hands went down to try and shield her leg from further damage. But Hinoka held on - and she used this handhold to whip Michiko into the ropes, sending her bouncing backward! And with Hinoka running at her at the same time, she had little chance to take cover before the impact landed, bowling Michiko off her feet and sending her onto her back.

Re: Michiko Shimizu vs. Hinoka Taiyo
With every kick, Hinoka gained more and more control of the lockup until Michiko let go of her upper body completely. "It would have been better for you to just jump back" she whispered as she threw her opponent into the ropes. Michiko had no time to make some sort of comeback so the redhead was able to make quite a followup by bringing her to the mat with a hard clothesline.
Hinoka wasn't going to end things here. She walked towards her fallen opponent and stood facing away from her. Hinoka raised her arms in preparation before backflipping attempting a sort of standing moonsault. If successful, she would try to earn an early victory by remaining on top of the other wrestler in a body pin.
