'Drifter' Vs Ying Tao - Love or just a Crush

Katherine Scarlett wasn't going to lie... she was nervous. She had never stood up in front of such a crowd in her life. Watching it on the Japanese TV had been one thing, but seeing the arena with your own eyes was something else. The ramp towards the ring was like a long road, with floods of people either side all staring, cheering and anticipating the arrival of their favourite superstars. Thousands of eyes and screaming lungs filled the rest of the arena in such a mass it was hard to comprehend. Kat was no superstar however, she was new to the wrestling business... even so the crowd were generous enough to give her cheers as she made her way to the ring. Probably more so as they knew the card was about to start.

"Entering the ring for the opening match of tonight's card, hailing from Kingston, Canada, weighing in at 119lbs at 5'7"... She is... 'The Drifter'!"

Hearing the announce state her nickname made it all the more real as Drifter began to walk towards the ring. Her stomach was turning like a washing machine with too large a load, but she kept a stoic and determined expression to cover up the nervousness that had taken over her core. A few young fans stretched out their open hands as far as they could through the grated sidewalk, and Drifter felt obliged to tag those hands, even managing a smile as she did so. It did little to ease her nerves however. Drifter's attire was that of a... Drifter as it were. She wore a rough green overcoat that had seen better days, clad in worn jeans with sneakers that almost looked like they had been attacked by a dog. She had her hood up, but it barely covered her face, with her beautiful features exposed as well as a few locks of her crimson and black shaded hair.

She carried a rucksack which held her belongings, which too looked like it had been half savaged by a rapid dog, but was intact enough to still function. She dumped the bag down by the ringside, before undoing her coat and flinging it on top of her bag. She wore only a white sports bra over her chest, revealing a stunning figure below, her form well defined but not overly toned, revealing that she had been working out. Over her arm was a red bandage that was spread from wrist to elbow, as she wore a single glove on the other hand. She slowly slid off her shoes, entering the ring barefoot as she did not want to diminish her sneakers anymore than they already had fallen apart. Buying sneakers was next on her agenda if she managed to save up enough money.

She hoped to buy a new pair soon, but as always money was tight... hopefully that would change with a new career as a wrestler in the LAW. Still nervous and inexperienced, Kat did not know how to act in the ring, but managed a few waves towards the watching crowd. She then found herself shifting towards her own corner, shadow boxing against the turnbuckle to try and limber up before stretching a little. She rolled her neck before turning towards the ramp as the PA system exploded with the music of her opponent, but it was not the music she was expecting.

With a frown Drifter leaned forwards against the ropes, realising that something was amiss. Tonight she was suppose to face another up and comer to the LAW, a nice simple match for two fresh faces to slowly get acquainted with the federation and wrestling in general. A lightweight match in which both the wrestlers would be well suited to each other for a fine competition. The music playing was not that of her opponent, but that of someone else completely. Soon enough... a figure emerged upon the top of the entrance ramp... or rather figures if Katherine's eyes did not mistake her.

"What the hell?!..." Drifter gasped under her breathe, pacing back towards the centre of the ring when she realised just who it was who was entering the arena.
