Hinoka Taiyo vs Mic Check- Rock and Awe

The redhead was backstage doing some shadow punches and kicks in preparation. Even though she lost to Agatha in her debut, Hinoka's confidence wasn't fazed at all as she was ready to return to the ring. For her second match she was set to face a newcomer to LAW named Mic Check. Hinoka did not know much about her opponent outside of her being a musician. The redhead heard a few stories about people in the entertainment industry taking up wrestling. Hinoka didn't like this as they tend to be mere promotional stunts with no effort or passion. Despite this, Hinoka wasn't going to hold back as she is someone who always gives her 100% in the squared circle She was determined to leave this match as a victor but who knows maybe she will be in for a struggle.

With no time to wait, Hinoka left backstage and walked through the curtain. She stood at the ramp with a prideful grin as the crowd awarded her with cheers. Hinoka then walked down the aisle giving a few hi fives to her fans before climbing on to the ring apron. Wanting to prove her athleticism immediately, Hinoka did a 360 backflip over the ropes making a perfect landing as her feet met the canvas. Now the applause would be even greater. Hinoka was ready. The crowd was ready. But is Mic Check ready?

As Hinoka stood in the ring, the lights dimmed and suddenly a wailing guitar solo played for about ten seconds before puff of pyro went off. After a moment, Joan Jett's I Love Rock & Roll starts to play and none other than Mic Chick herself comes walking out onto the stage in a black and red get up, glancing around at the crowd before leading them into clapping with the song.

Then, when the vocals kicked in, the famed cover artist began to sing the words in a sexy, raspy voice into a microphone as she came down the ramp. There were many die-hard fans in the crowd, and when Mic Chick saw them, she took a moment to slap their hand as she sung, not missing a single beat, sounding like a serious professional. Her debut had been greatly anticipated, and she had teased her fans of it for a while over social media, so when they were in the crowd, they got loud for the singer.

When Mic got to the steel steps, she led the crowd in a chorus, waving her arm and commanding them rather effectively to move to the beat, and when the chorus was over, she stepped into the ring and the music cut off. She looked over at her redheaded opponent and gave her a wink before taking a spot in the center of the ring, looking out at the crowd with a big smile on her face, genuinely seeming grateful for the support as they rained cheers on her.

After enough time of this, Mic Chick tapped her microphone, forcing it to feedback, but not in any sort of painful way. She had a good touch with that. Then, finally, she spoke. "LAW... Make some noise!" The crowd erupted for this and Mic let out a small laugh and then said into the microphone, "Maybe you didn't hear me... I said Make. Some. Noise!" Somehow, the audience went even louder for her and Chick grinned, glancing over at Hinoka briefly and nodding to her to make sure she knew she didn't forget about her.

"That's much better. Now I have to thank you all for the warm welcome. It really means a lot to me. I've performed a lot of shows at a lot of places, but by far the most excited I've been so far is at the LAW arena. I've worked really hard to make my debut and get good enough that I don't suck it up here, because I've never disappointed a crowd before and I don't plan on doing it tonight either." Mic Chick spoke the words with a relative calmness about them, oozing with charisma as she captivated the audience with her explanation. Then she turned to look at Hinoka, smirking. "And now... They've put me against one tough cookie in Hinoka Taiyo."

She then glanced to the crowd a smirk on her face. "I know she's tough because I saw her practicing some punches backstage. And let me tell you, if she hits me with one of those, I might be singing backwards from now on." Mic Chick then casually sauntered up to Hinoka, seemingly not very afraid of the likelihood of a sucker punch. "But look at her. I hit the jackpot being able to debut against her, because she is quite a hot little thing, isn't she everyone? Let me hear you if you think Hinoka Taiyo is one sexy little biyatch!" The crowd, again, cheered loudly in respect for Mic's opponent. She simply smiled at the girl and nodded a few times.

"They seem to think so too. So Hinoka, do you have a nickname or do I have to give you one?" asked Mic Chick in a playful tone, holding out the microphone for her to speak into.

Hinoka was a bit unsure as the lights faded before jumping in shock as the pyro went off. It is rather rare for Hinoka to feel fear nowadays. She then watched her opponent make her entrance and was interested to say the least. "She is quite the showwoman" thought the redhead feeling genuinely impressed by her opponent's charisma. But how will that translate into the squared circle?

The redhead thought she had a positive reception, but looking at her opponent it was clear who was the real star of the show. Hinoka crossed her arms and smiled from afar as she listened to Mic's speech. She was further impressed by the blonde's dedication especially the part about not wanting her debut to suck. Looks like Hinoka could be in a battle to win.

Then the rock star started talking about her opponent much to Hinoka's curiosity. Hinoka raised her chin proudly as the rock star brought up her toughness, only for her face to flush with embarrassment as the blonde complimented her looks with the audience's approval. During her youth, Hinoka did catch a few eyes due to her appearance but the high flyer was surprisingly modest when it came to looks. The redhead would be handed the microphone giving her an opportunity to talk.

Hinoka tried to keep cool after being teased as her face returned to normal colour. She took a deep breath before speaking into the microphone. "Well um Hinoka is just fine. I guess I'll call you Mic if you want" said the redhead feeling a tiny bit anxious as she didn't practice much when it came to promos. She slowly regained confidence as she continued speaking. "I have to say I am rather impressed by your entrance. One of the best I have ever seen as a matter of fact. I am sure people will remember this match for years to come...only if you give it your all facing me." said Hinoka feeling proud of her response. She held out the microphone for the rocker to take.

Mic Chick had noticed that her showboating had made her opponent a little bashful, not that it would stop her. She usually didn't factor that into anything, as she thought it would be good to let people cut loose like that. But she did give Hinoka the mic, because that would only be fair. She wanted to share the spotlight, after all. She respected her opponent enough for even getting in the ring with her. She knew her stardom was usually a bit intimidating to some people, but she was happy to treat a peer well.

When Hinoka was done speaking, the rock n' roller took the mic with some flair and twirled it around, casually sauntering to the middle of the ring again. "Rock on... Rock on..." said Mic, smiling. "I have a few things first. Number one, if you say my name, you need to say it with some flair, like..." The star bent over briefly before springing up and throwing a finger high in the air and screaming in a proper rock singing voice, "MIC CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK! OW!" The crowd popped for the vocal display and Mic winked at her opponent. "And Hinoka isn't going to cut it, baby. No... your new name, in this ring, when you're up against me... It's Red Hot!" She then playfully winced away from her opponent. "Ouch, i think I might get burned just trying to grapple with you. But you better believe I'm coming at you with everything I got. I've been holding my arms to my side and running around as a kid because I knew I could fly like a jet. I'm taking on a side gig as a driller tonight because I'm going to go right through that rock hard body of yours. And then you can call me Timberland because I'm going to be booting down the doors of LAW and show the whole world just how much ass you can kick when you rock harder than anyone else! So I hope you brought some hater shaders because I'm going to light up the sky tonight." She said her prose with the utmost confidence, enthralling the crowd before stepping right up to Hinoka, smirking and mostly looking like she was having a ball with this.

"Now let me hear my name. MIC CHICK!" she then held up her mic into the air as she looked Hinoka in the eyes and the crowd shouted 'Mic Chick' at her behest. Mic nodded satisfactorily and then lowered the mic to say one last thing. "Let's see some magic, Red Hot," she said, holding out the microphone and then performing a mic drop before stepping back to her end of the ring backwards, her arms out, looking like she was on top of the world and eager to compete. The bell was finally sounded and Mic Chick got into a nimble looking pose and motioned for Hinoka to bring it on.

Hinoka stood back and watched as Mic Check spoke into the microphone again. The blonde was certainly a woman of many words. As the rocker persuaded the crowd to say her name loudly, the redhead made a mental note to not never say Mic Check as she wanted to keep her lungs. Hinoka would continue listening to her opponent's pre-match promo. She would furrow her eyebrow in interest as the rock star called her by the nickname "Red Hot". Even though it was pointing towards Hinoka's attractiveness and that the redhead was more of a wind type of person, Hinoka actually liked the nickname Mic gave to her, for it made her sound tough.

As Mic Check continued captivating the crowd with her charisma, Hinoka tried to not laugh as the rock star made a slew of metaphors about the match. "Is she trying to kill me with laughter or trying to butter me up?" thought the redhead feeling rather amused by what she is hearing. If one thing is certain, it is that Mic Check has certainly won her opponent's appeal.

With the microphone talk brought to an end, it is finally time for the two forces to clash. Hinoka was looking forward to seeing what her opponent was capable of. She will do everything in her power to give both Mic and the crowd a show to remember. As the bell run, Hinoka went straight out of the gate sprinting towards her opponent. "Let's make this a five star match Hiyahh!!!" said the redhead proudly before raising her voice. She decided to start things off big with a spin kick. Will Mic be able to counter or is she just some one-hit wonder?

Mic Chick looked amped up to be starting the match. She had fired the crowd up too and got then ready to see an exciting match, which was always the intent. Her job as the singer for her band taught her it was very important to always get the crowd started off strong, even in wrestling.

So when she saw her opponent rushing towards her, Mic Chick went to meet her, running too. Hinoka went for the spin kick, but the rocker had some speed of her own. She ducked the attack and kept running past her redhead opponent. She rebounded off the ropes and then went to slide between Hinoka's legs to end up behind her. After that, she would pop back up and try to hit a dropkick on her, looking to start this match off with a little flash.

The match has officially Hinoka now known as "Red Hot" tried to make first contact with a side kick. The rocker was good at tracking tempo as she perfectly timed the dodge by she ducked beneath the kick and moved behind Hinoka. "Alright she is probably going to launch herself from the ropes and counterattack" thought the redhead as she immediately turned around in preparation for the rock star's next move.

Mic indeed would use the ropes to rebound as Hinoka raised her arms out ready to block an incoming attack. To Hinoka's surprise, the blonde slided in between long legs. "What the heck is she doing now?" thought the redhead feeling rather confused by Mic's approach. With her back now unguarded she got her answer in the form of a dropkick from behind causing Hinoka to fall face first onto the canvas. The crowd made a massive pop at Mic Check's impressive display. Hinoka fully realised that this won't be a cakewalk to her relief and worry at the same time. She slowly tried getting back on her feet before her opponent could capitalise.

Mic Chick had successfully nailed the dropkick and landed on her knees after the maneuver. By all accounts, it looked very crisp and impressive for somebody who just got into the sport. The blonde firecracker then briefly played a rocking air guitar before popping back up on her feet. "Whoo!" she shouted, doing an arm pump.

She waited until Hinoka got to her hands and knees and then ran right for her, but instead of attacking her outright, she vaulted off of her back and landed on the middle rope or the corner. Taking one moment to balance herself, Mic Chick then leaped up and attempted to hit a leg drop on her slow-moving opponent.

Hinoka tried to make a quick recovery by first getting on her hand and knees. Before the redhead could stand up again, she heard footsteps coming her way. "Oh god she is coming to do more" thought Hinoka feeling rather annoyed that she is being given little room to breathe. Expecting another blow, Hinoka would find herself dumbfounded as Mic instead jumped off her back. It took some time for her to process the situation as she remained on her knees. Her eyes widened as the rocker quickly descended on her and landing the leg drop. As the blonde's leg made contact, Hinoka cried out in pain causing her to roll on to her back.

If they weren't fighting, Hinoka would be admiring such a beautiful display of aerial technique. The redhead was not off to a good start as Mic Check was currently controlling this match.

The second-rope leg drop was successful and the crowd popped for the flashy maneuver from the charismatic favorite and as Hinoka rolled away in pain, Mic Chick held up her hands and started clapping to a beat, which the crowd began to replicate. She smirked and then crawled over to her redhead opponent and said, "Yo, Red Hot. You gotta be quicker. Show me something!" Chick said the words in jest, eyeing her up for a moment.

Then, she went to lock in a basic headlock on the girl, sitting beside her to try doing so. She would then stomp her foot to the beat she had introduced previously to keep the crowd into the fight. The rocker would then move her shoulders to the beat as well before speaking again. "Gotta admit, this is more fun than I thought already!" She had a huge smile on her face while she attempted to really torque on the head and neck with the headlock, mostly just to try wearing down her opponent.
