Karen was as eager as ever to get something else going for herself. And the Actress was facing off against the Wrestling Angel alumni Megumi Mutoh, someone who knew what they were doing between these ropes. A tough challenge for sure but not one she was afraid of dealing with and she certainly still felt confident enough to beat them. Coming out in her usual song and dance but her attire was new and a bit more appropriate for her job as a wrestler then her other ring gear was.

In fact it was more like the gear she wore when she was on her own show as Mindy, mostly because it had been the day she first started as the character, and while she hadn't been on the show in over a year. The character was very much still hers and judging from the positive reaction as she came down..still recognizable. Smiling she waved to the crowd before she entered the ring and stalked around the ring. Waiting for miss Mutoh to make her appearance.

Megumi Mutoh would be facing someone in a match for tonight. Already putting on her one-piece wrestling outfit, the wrestling prodigy made one last adjustment to her bow before she waited for her cue. She heard that her opponent for tonight was someone named Karen Meadows, and she was looking forward to face her in the ring to see if she could pose a challenge to Genius Mutoh.

When her music entrance, Golden Nocturne, was played, Megumi made her entrance, cheered by her fans. Raising one arm, she would then jog down the ramp, high-fiving some of the fans as she she headed over to the ring, where her opponent was waiting for her. From the look of it, this Karen seemed like a formidable opponent to be had in the ring.

Upon arrival, Megumi climbed up the apron, grabbing the ropes before entering the ring. She would go to a corner first to get the crowd behind her, earning their thunderous cheers. And then, she would look at Karen and gave her a small bow of acknowledgement.

"Give me your best shot," Megumi said, hopping on the balls of her feet for a bit as she prepared for their upcoming match. The former Wrestle Angel was ready to face her opponent for tonight, and she would show everyone why she was called the genius of wrestling.

When Megumi finally came out she looked as lively as she had seen her act pretty much everywhere. All smiles and ready to go whenever. Needless to say it was something else, watching her bounce down to the ring with the fans support behind her. No doubt due to her wrestling prowess making her pretty well known despite being technically pretty new in this area. Not that she was intimidated, just impressed she had kept so much fanfare with her in a new environment. Bowing as well when she did she was just as eager to get the match started.

"I strive to give nothing less." Karen said before backing off into her corner, staring down her opponent as she waited for the match to officially start and for the bell to ring, letting her go off. Once it had Karen started moving to the right circling towards her opponent as she started to ready herself for the intense match likely awaiting her with a lock up.

Megumi smiled upon hearing Karen's response. "Good. Glad to hear that." That was something that she wanted to hear. So, she would wait for the match to begin until the referee called for the two of them before she called for the bell, starting the match.

Looking at Karen, Megumi would also do the same, circling her before coming close to her, locking up with her for a tie up. Her boots skidded against the canvas as she would make use of her footwork to keep herself balanced while pushing against the black-haired woman before her.

As the two of them were locked up in the tie up, Megumi was looking to gain an upper hand by hooking an arm around the back of Karen's neck, planning to pull her head down so that she could put her in a side headlock, keeping her under pressure at the start of the match.

The two locked up almost immediately, looking to overpower the other and try to send her backwards while she was at it. Instead of letting it last for very long Megumi attempted to pull her into a side headlock in an effort to control the match outright. Karen growled as she was yanked down into the hold and her arms went to the girls hands and tried to break them off to get free.

Struggling in the hold for a few seconds she would look to create enough space to slip her head free and get behind her and attempt to throw an elbow into her side or back to force her backwards.

Putting Karen under her arm with the side headlock, Megumi was looking to wrench her head to keep her under pressure as well as to weaken her, but before she could transition the headlock into a neck wrench, she took an elbow into her side, causing her to grunt in pain as her hold around Karen's head loosened.

Knowing that she couldn't keep the hold for long, Megumi decided to relinquish the hold. Instead of just letting her go away, however, she would try to grab one of Karen's arms, looking to twist it around so that she could try to put her in a hammerlock, bringing said arm to the black-haired woman's back, applying pressure right on her shoulder.

Though she was able to get the shot off, she couldn't slide out of the hold or at least not in time for Megumi to just let go of it herself and try for something else, quickly turning her around and grabbing the hand she didnt use to twist it into a hammerlock! Pulling on her arm as she got behind her she was able to quickly secure a position behind her.

Grunting as she felt the pain in her locked arm, this was something she couldn't let continue. Trying to turn as much as she possibly could yo avoid the worst of the submission hold and get a bit more freedom she would attempt to try and slowly work her way out of the hold.

While Megumi might have Karen trapped in the hammerlock, she couldn't help but be impressed that the black-haired woman didn't panic from the hold as she slowly tried to work herself out of the hold. The former Wrestle Angel would follow Karen's momentum as the black-haired wrestler made her effort to escape the hold. Megumi couldn't properly lock in the hold, which allowed Karen to escape.

But, even if Karen managed to escape, Megumi would not let her go unharmed. As Karen was about to twist herself free, Megumi would try to sweep her legs from under her with her foot, looking to trip her down into the mat, landing on her back first.

Moving to free herself Karen could feel her arm slipping free and Megumi's efforts to keep the hold failing slowly. Either way it gave her more wiggle room to slowly slip out as she attempted to break apart. Finally getting her freedom when she was let go, she suddenly felt her feet being kicked out from under her before she had the chance to move and was quickly sent to the floor before she had a chance to do anything.

Hitting the mat back first Karen groaned and rolled to her side trying to get up and look for a chance to strike back and keep Megumi from going for another attack right after she got up again or else she wouldnt get a chance to fight back properly.

Right after tripping Karen down with her leg sweep, Megumi decided to press on while Karen was trying to get up. So, she would bend down so that she could yank her opponent back up, getting her back on her feet. Looking to soften her up for a bit, Megumi would hold Karen by her shoulders before she went to drive her knee into her belly three times, targeting the same spot over and over.

After that, Megumi planned to keep her in place by wrapping her arm around her head in a front headlock. She would make sure to secure her hold around her head in preparation for her next move.
