The usually tall and confident Kazue sat in a chair backstage, mulling over the events of her debut. Whilst a close call, it was difficult to get past starting here at LAW on a bad foot, especially given her dominance in foreign leagues. Perhaps she had underestimated the talent here at LAW, and paid the price in defeat. It wasn't a mistake she planned to make again, as her financials had been draining quite a bit since then. General match incentives were nice, but she needed more to make being at LAW worthwhile, and that meant winning.
Calming her mind from that, and trying to reset it for the match ahead, she was scrolling through her phone and reading away at a poetry book she just downloaded. Reading American literature had become quite a past time for her; their writing being quite different in both a stylistic sense but also visually. It captured her attention quite a bit, so much so that she barely didn't hear a member of the crew come up alongside her. Younger, Japanese with a dark ponytail, "You'll be up soon Eto, good luck!"
A bit surprised, the tower of twilight nodded back, and began to lift herself up to her abnormal 6'1 stature. She was ready to even her record and start things right again, no matter what.
