Once she slipped between the ropes, Anne gave a final gesture to everyone gathering on the stands before turning her full attention towards her rival. Getting those words from THE Yutani Oshima meant a lot from her, but now it was time to start the match so Anne needed to focus on what was important.

With the bell ringing it was as if Yutani had managed to become even more imposing, her face looking like the one of a Queen ready to conquer her throne on the battlefield. Anne breathed deep to calm herself and enter in her battle focus, looking at Yutani with a determined look as she adopted a guard stance, carefully covering the distance between her and her rival. Yutani had a pretty decent size advantage on Anne, but the Phoenix had to try and see if she could overpower her rival, so her hands were raised over her head in an invitation for a test of strength.

The Shoguness was quick to take the hit without much drama and then return back on her feet just in time for Anne to face her. It showed great skill how quickly the woman recovered, and then she went for some cold words that sounded flattering at first praising Anne’s body, but they suddenly turned into a cold taunt. In some way Yutani was right though: that trick allowed the Phoenix to escape but it didn’t push her options forwards. If she wanted a win against that powerful rival Anne needed a strategy and quick.

The Phoenix’s first option would be to try and soften her rival. Yutani beckoned, pressing Anne to come at her and face her and that was just about what she was going to do. “Sure thing, Shoguness. Bring it.” This time Anne would quickly throw two darting knife edge chops at Yutani’s chest before using the moment of impact to launch a powerful sidekick at her rival’s stomach in order to affect her rival’s reaction times!

Then came the sidekick—quick, powerful, aimed at her midsection. But this time, Yutani was ready. Her hand shot out, catching Anne's ankle with a firm grip. She held her opponent's leg up by her side, a look of wicked delight spreading across her face as she gazed into Anne's eyes.

“Careful what you wish for darling” she purred, her voice dripping with a dark sensuality.

With her other hand, Yutani shot out, her fingers wrapping around Anne's throat in a vice-like grip. So tight were her clutches, Yutani could feel the young wrestler's vibrant pulse throbbing beneath her fingers, a passion beat of life and defiance the Shoguness would slowly but surely assert her complete and utter dominance over tonight. Yutani’s lips curved into a cruel smile, her eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger.

With a powerful surge, Yutani attempted to lift Anne off her feet, arching her body through the air before bringing her crashing down to the mat with a resounding chokeslam!

Anne had decided to trust in the old one-two for her first combo of the night. Knife edge chops and side kicks were like two peas in a pod, they were moves meant to be executed together in sucession. Despite being pretty basic moves they worked pretty well together and made for a perfect starter before going for more complicated movements with higher impact. The first part of the combo went great, with the Phoenix’s hands darting faster than the eye and impacting Yutani on the top part of her chest. Of course the Shoguness wasn’t fazed by the hit, but the only thing Anne needed was to distract her for enough time to make the kick land and start doing some damage. That didn’t come to pass as Yutani read the Phoenix’s movements and knew what to expect, catching Anne’s leg as she launched the kick.

The Phoenix struggled as she was in a pretty bad position. Her balance was heavily disrupted by Yutani holding her leg and the Shoguness knew that. The veteran’s words of taunt were cold, with a hint of allurement but also with a definite air of threat. From there the Shoguness could do whatever she wanted with Anne, but the redhead wasn’t expecting what was to come. “Urk!! Ggkkh...” The Phoenix gasped for air when Yutani’s powerful grip closed arount her throat! Just after that the Shoguness showed her might by lifting Anne, which only made the choking sensation even worse, before slamming her against the mat in a spectacular chokeslam!
