Nashi Dragneel vs. Tina Armstrong

"Well this is something. I remember being treated like a rising star when LAW first started off." Tina said tugging on the back of her wrestling tights to make sure it covered the right about and fit perfectly. "Now I need to get rolling and Nashi is the rising star, I feel old."

"Oh you don't know anything about being old." Alaina said. "I am closing in on 50 and still wrestling but I am not going to lie the recovery time after matches is getting to be more than it used to be."

"Says the woman with gold around her waist." Tina interjected.

"You will get there again. Nashi and Yukino are WOWW Tag Champions and I believe you absolutely will win many more titles before you hang up the boots to call it a career." Alaina said

Tina and Alaina both clad in 2 piece tiger print wrestling attire left the locker room to make their way to the ring. Alaina was simply accompanying Tina to the ring, but was always ready for action in the arena just in case. Tina was struggling a bit after having lost some matches to tough opponents, and her Apex finals match to Kathleen. She was determined to get back to her winning ways again, and was very much focused on taking the fight to Nashi tonight. She didn't care that Alaina knew her dad or seemed to be friends with the new wrestler. Tina was the tigress, and she was going to take it to half of the WOWW Tag Champions. She was honestly amazed that those two got tag gold before The Thundergirls did. It seemed like as a team Alaina and Tina couldn't quite get rolling when they had to. Once they figured out how things clicked together though the entire world of womens wrestling would be on notice.

Tina's music began to play and she came out with Alaina, each one bounding their way down the ramp high fiving fans as they went. "Making her way to the ring accompanied by Alaina Sanders-Haines.... standing at 5'6'' weighing in at 149 pounds from Liverpool England....... Tigress Tina Armstrong!"

Tina pumped a fist in the air and climbed up onto the apron then through the ropes, holding her arms out basking in the loud cheers of the crowd while Alaina strut around the outside of the ring, standing on the ground near Tina's corner clapping her hands and giving her tag partner a nod as they waited for Nashi to come out.

Nashi was in the locker room getting prepared for tonight's match for her. The last time she was in the ring with Tina, it was the first tag match for the Idol Dragons and sadly left with a defeat. Now it had been almost a full year and Nashi was ready to win!Hope you're ready Yukino, because tonight is our first entrance together with our belts" She teased her friend as she went over to put hers around her waist"Trust me, knowing the Thundergirl's they wouldn't try anything dirty" She gave her friend a warm smile as it was time for them to go out.

"And her opponent....,. accompanied by Yukino Fuyumi... standing at 5'5 and in at 155 pounds from Tokyo Japan.... The Fiery Idol Nashi Dragneel!"

The Idol Dragons came out to the top ramp with a chorus of cheers. Even though this was Nashi's match, she wanted Yukino to share the spotlight as this was their entrance together as Champions. Once at the top of the ramp, they would stand back to back and strike their icon pose looking down at the Thundergirls. They would then decent to the ramp giving high fives before making to the ring"Wish me luck" She gave her friend a hug before stepping through the ropes and looking at her opponent. She wasn't done with the theatrics; she would unhook her belt and raise it proudly for all to see before turning over and giving it to Yukino to hang onto. She gestured for a microphone and said"I would like to say Tina, it is an honor to fight you again, last time i was still a rookie but now im more confident than ever! " She flexed her bicep before waiting for the bell to ring.

With that, Nashi would charge fast at Tina aiming to get their fingers interlock with a test of strength to kick things off!

Indeed, Yukino still remembered the Idol Dragons' first match against the Thundergirls. It was hard not to think about it - it was, after all, the first match they had taken part in as a team. When she thought back on it all, it was hard to believe it had been so long. But then, it was also hard to believe it had just been a little less than a year! In all the time since, a lot had changed for the Idol Dragons. They had only trained more and harder, desperate to prove that they could succeed as wrestlers just as well as they could as idols, and just as committed to proving they had it in them to succeed on their own merits. They had each come a long way in their skills, achieving success against greater and greater opponents and proving each time they could make it in the ring. They had made it all the way to Apex. And most recently of all, they had won the WOWW Tag Team Championships at We Are LAW.

But the Thundergirls had grown, too. They had also come away with a title to their name, with Alaina being the new LAW Heavyweight Champion. Tonight, neither of those titles would be on the line. Alaina wasn't in this match, and it was a singles competition. But the titles stood as a testament to how far both teams had come - and both were willing to put them on display as a reminder of that. Yukino was certainly prepared for it - she had her belt secured around her waist right now, and she gave it a pat as she flashed Nashi a grin! "That's right!" she cheered. "And I have faith in you to get out there and make us proud to be champions, okay?"

Yukino accompanied Nashi for every step of her entrance, hitting her mark just as perfectly as she had done in every one of their matches beforehand. This time, though, they both had their titles with them, and even if she wasn't in action tonight, it made Yukino feel stronger than ever to have that reminder of her accomplishments! She stood a little bit taller with a grin on her face, turning to Nashi in time for the two of them to pull each other into a hug. "You got this, Nashi - I believe in you!" she added, patting her on the back. As Nashi stepped into the ring, Yukino stayed back on the apron, where she held her belt higher over her head, drawing a few more cheers. But her gaze would soon turn to Nashi, then to Tina, and her eyes narrowed in focus. This match was in her partner's hands now, and all she could do was hope for the best.

Tina watched and Nashi stepped up looking to lock up in a grapple! Tina obliged and locked up with her pressing against Nashi. The two were close in size and Tina felt like this could go either way, but she had other ideas. She would struggle and take one step back, then a second before she fell back extending her leg into Nashi's abdomen in an attempt to monkey flip Nashi overhead for a landing on her back! Tina hoped that her ploy worked and allowed her to kick things off on the right foot.

The pair were locked in a tight lock up. Nashi was pressing forward to try and gain a lead and it seemed like she was when Tina took a step back until"AHH" She screamed as Tina went to lift her up and send her onto the mat with a monkey flip!"Ow" She groaned as the Idol stood up"Sorry, but i won't loose that easily!" She declared as she went to send a kick straight to her opponent's head!

Tina stood up and moved back in as Nashi swung her leg up. Tina managed to get her arms up in time to block but the force of the kick still made her stumble back a couple steps. Tina shook her head refusing to go on the back foot. She jumped up and aimed a dropkick right at the chest of Nashi hoping to send her back to the mat. Tina felt like she could outlast Nashi, but she had to put that thought into practice.

Even with Tina blocking the kick, the fiery idol was able to send her back a few feet. The tigress was still able to get up and charge for a dropkick to the idol. Nashi would try to move out of the way but they were too close to each other”AH!” She yelled as she got hit the gut sending her down to the mat rolling in pain. The idol stopped near the ropes and went to grab onto them to help pull her up.

Tina landed the dropkick and saw Nashi rolling towards the ropes. Nashi was rising when Tina made her way over to her fellow middleweight and grabbed hold of her head. She wrapped an arm around Nashi's head and grabbed the waist of her wrestling attire lifting her straight up! Tina wanted to show off a bit and yanked hard on Nashi's briefs before lifting her up vertically, delaying a bit before completing the vertical suplex to send Nashi crashing down to the canvas again! Tina was not messing around, and knew that taking Nashi lightly would lead to a surprise defeat at the hands on the idol.

Nashi was down trying to push herself up to a standing position. When she was, Tina quickly grabbed a hold of her and showed of an impressive feat of strength by lifting her up high in the air."WOAHHH!" She screamed as she was slammed to the ground with a powerful vertical suplex! The Idol's legs kicked in the air rolling ontop of her side as she was panting for air. The crowd would cheer in an uproar for the short haired tigress wondering what she'll do next.

Tina saw Nashi rising and she had certainly become more durable than Tina remembered seeing months ago. The tigress would run at Nashi as soon as she was standing and leap up hoping to wrap her legs around Nashi's head before leaning back to send her to the mat with a hurricanrana! If Tina was successful she would stay mounted atop Nashi to transition immediately into a pin attempt. Tina wanted to keep the momentum going knowing that these two idols could quickly build momentum of their own with hard hitting offense if given the chance.
