Stellar Smackdown! | Star Power vs Vega Nakai

The theme of tonight’s fight was ‘Stellar Smackdown’, a reference to both fighter’s star-based names. Kimiko was feeling a little nervous. Although her opponent had less matches on her record, Kim felt that Vega still had the upper hand on her. Kim knew this was going to be a tough match. Their weights were practically the same as well, but Vega had the height on her. In any case it would be a matter of Kimiko’s wit that determined whether or not she’d get her first win tonight!

"...Now entering the ring, hailing from Japan...Standing at 5'4" and weighing in at 153 lbs... She's LAW's confident cutie-rookie, it's THE STARRR POWERRRRR!!!"

Kimiko's Entrance Music

All the lights trained on Kimiko as she emerged on the stage! She greeted the audience posing on-beat to her cutesy music. She made her way down to the ring, but didn’t shy away from taking quick pictures with her fans and waving to the crowd on her approach. As she climbed the ropes, Kimiko took a moment to make some final cute poses to the crowd showing off her body in her excessively-tight outfit.

Kimiko finished her routine by doing her classic haul over the ropes, landing with a solid THUD on the mat. She walked to her side of the ring waving one last time to the audience! Kimiko waited in anticipation for her opponent to reveal herself. It was the first time she would see Vega and Kimiko was becoming excited to see her in-person for the first time!

Vega waited in the back for her time to enter the ring. She wore a tight small top in white with her name across it in navy, paired with tight pants in a similar navy hue and white boots and guards. Her long black hair rested in a loose ponytail, which she re-positioned while standing around.

Vega was curious about her opponent tonight; she knew Kimiko had accrued a bit of a following online, although Vega herself didn't really follow social media enough to really know what she was popular for. Regardless, it would be a perfect opportunity to show-out and prove that she is a force to be reckoned with in LAW. Soon, she heard her music start and she was given the signal to go, rolling back her shoulders before making her way out.

Vega could hear the crowd as she made her appearance on the stage before walking out; it felt like a mixture of cheers and boos but it didn’t really make any difference to her regardless. Victory was all that mattered tonight. The noirette wore a rather serious and expressionless face as she quickly made her way to the ring, mostly ignoring the crowd before she jumped up to grab the top rope to help propel her up to the ring. Her neutral expression slowly gave way to a small smile as she walked around the ring and bounced a bit on the ropes before it was time for the two to meet at the center of the ring.

Vega noticed her opponent for tonight; she appeared to be slightly smaller and of a curvier build but otherwise kind of reminded her of herself. A more...innocent version, perhaps? Regardless, she was ready to get the match started, stepping forward.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Vega," she said with a smile towards her opponent.

"Good luck in our match by the way," she continued before her friendly smile pivoted to a more confident grin, "you'll need it"
