Mic Chick vs. Renatta "Rumble" Tyndale
Match Type:
Standard Match
Rules: The winner must pin, submit, or knock out her opponent.

The lights dimmed in the LAW arena and suddenly a wailing guitar solo played for about ten seconds before puff of pyro went off. After a moment, Joan Jett's I Love Rock & Roll starts to play and Mic Chick in her black, red, and gold outfit, smirking out at the crowd who got loud for her before she began clapping to her theme song.

Mic Chick would then begin to sing along to the song with her immaculate singing voice, taking the opportunity to take pictures with the crowd and slap hands with them as she does so without missing a beat, looking impressive the entire time while the crowd sings and claps along with her. When she got to the steps, she shouted, "LET ME HEAR YOU!" before leading them in the chorus, letting them take over as she walked up the steps and stand in the ring. On the repeat of the chorus, she joined back in to the close before it ended. She then held the microphone up, smiling happily as the crowd cheered her on loudly.

Eventually, she lowered the mic back down to her mouth and waited for the crowd to die down. The show woman then said, "Hello hello hello HELLO LAW. What's good tonight?" The crowd cheered for her and Mic looked out at them with a strange expression on her face. "No, I asked... what is good tonight?" The crowd roared a louder response and the rocker shook her head, looking disappointed and went to the rope as she stood on the bottom and middle one and shouted, "NO! I ASKED WHAT IS GOOD TONIGHT!?" And then she held out the microphone towards the crowd that got even louder, sustaining a bombastic reaction before Mic Chick nodded in approval, stepping off the ropes and backing up towards the middle of the ring.

"Now that's better," she replied before taking a deep breath. "Your girl, the most exciting superstar LAW has to offer, is now on for yet another match up. Good news for everyone, right? For you, for the person beside you, for everyone watching at home, and probably for those clip accounts on Twitter--I see you At-LAW-hyphen-Clips. Thanks for always getting my good side." Pausing, she holds a hand to the side of her face, looking over to the camera and saying in a hushed tone. "They're all good sides. I just want to make them feel good."

She winked at the camera before looking forward and continuing. "It's good news for everyone... except for my opponent. You might know her if you follow companies outside of here, and I may have seen a thing or two from her, but she's here now, and LAW, they came to me and said 'We need you to show this girl what's up?' And I said, 'Just give me a place and time and I'll be there, music performances permitting.' And luckily, it all worked out. We picked a day between wicked concerts and I'm here, in all my glory. You are welcome." Pausing to do a flourished curtsy, Mic Chick stood back up straight. "But my opponent is called Renatta Rumble, which is awesome because if anyone knows me, I like to do a little Rumblin' myself. Definitive Rumblah, standing right here. I love to Rumble. Live for it. Can't get enough."

Looking out at the stage, waving an arm towards it, Mic would then keep speaking. "Because I'm rough and tumble, ready to rumble, won't ever stumble, my name's not Honie, so I don't bumble-beeecause when I other girls get the ball against me they fumble, 'cause I just don't crumble, and you best believe when I'm in the ring I keep these ladies humble. My name is Mic Check, and I am your premium entertainment tonight, and Little Miss Rumble, come get yourself a piece, because I've got a very fashionable boot to break you in with," said Mic Chick, lifting up a foot and tapping the microphone against it before throwing it over her shoulder as the crowd roared loudly for her. Confidently, she walked to her corner, doing some last minute leg stretches as she awaited the arrival of her opponent.

"Watchya so worked up for girl? Ya know ya got this in the bag no matter who they put you up against!" Renatta chided to herself in the locker room mirror.

She couldn't remember the last time she had felt this jittery before a match. It wasn't nerves, she knew that much - Renatta Rumble, three time champion on the Jamaican indie scene didn't get nerves. But of course, she didn't say the quite part out loud: Those were matches performed in worn down gymnasiums, in front of crowds that you would barely fill a bleacher in an arena like this.

But a familiar smile soon began to creep up on Renatta's face, one that her small fanbase back home would easily recognize as a staple of the cocky Jamaican. It was pure excitement that was coursing through her veins. Of course she was always excited before a match, but never before like this. This wasn't some ragtag assembly, this was a real promotion, a real league, a real opportunity.

The silence of the locker room was broken by the gentle woosh of air as Renatta's fist pounded the open space. Soon the squeaky sound of her boots sliding against the cool tile floor accompanied the added footwork to her shadowboxing. Blood rushed into her veins, her body already working ahead of schedule to prepare itself for the fight that would forever define her introduction into the league.

The muffled roar of the arena bled into the room, signaling that her opponent for tonight was probably making her way to the ring. Renatta's punches slowly dwindled as she focused her attention onto the television mounted in the nearby corner, relaying the entrance live in all it's glory.

Renatta had barely researched her opponent beforehand, and besides from the fact that she was apparently a famous rock star, the debutant was fully aware that she would be entering the ring tonight relatively blind of her opponent's abilities. But by the time Mic Chick had finished her little boast, Rumble had already learned everything she needed to know. Brash, Bold, Boisterous - Oh yeah, she liked her, she liked her a lot. But there was nothing Renatta loved more than the idea of cutting a resident icon down to size.

The debutant flung open the locker room door with hyperbolic force, sauntering down the corridor as if she had walked these halls a thousand times before. Backstage workers instinctively got out of the way as Renatta approached the entrance to the runway with heightened enthusiasm. Roots Rock Riot pounded into the ears of thousands of arena goers, before the bright presence of Renatta entering centerstage lit up the TitanTron for the whole world to see!
Renatta Rumble
The last remnants of doubt in Renatta's mind were immediately drowned out by the welcoming roar of the crowd. Her smug look stood unwavering as she gazed upon the spectacle in all it's glory: The lights, the camera, and soon, the action. It was every bit as magical as she hoped it would be. She strut down the ramp like she owned it, pounding her chest with one hand and hyping the crowd up with the other. "That's right baby, say hello to the new bitch in town!" She belowed, high-fiving outstretched hands as she made her way down the ramp.

She lept up directly onto the ring apron, hanging onto the top rope for balance before turning back to the crowd for one more show. Her thick fingers combed through her curly mohawk, slowly making their way down the side of her neck before tracing the outlines of her sizeable cleavage. While her reception hadn't been quite as monumental as her more familiar opponent, the added sex appeal was enough to send the crowd into an elated frenzy. She leaned back even further, whipping her head around to seal her signature grin into the minds of audiences in all four directions before finally taking the plunge between the ropes and into the ring.

At her feet lay the discarded microphone Mic Chick had just used to declare her own entrance. Without a moment's hesitation, Renatta swooped up the mic and placed it to her lips, pausing for a few added seconds of suspense as she disapprovingly eyed her opponent from head to toe.

"If your wrestling skills are anywhere near as bad as your rhyming ones, this match is going to be over in a heartbeat, Mic Chick" Renatta scoffed, making sure to pronounce her opponent's name with an added hint of malice. "Now listen up girl, and listen good. You may talk the talk, but where I come from, that ain't enough. You gotta walk the walk too, and tonight, I'll be walking all over you!" The young Jamaican taunted, taking a few steps closer to her opponent.

"You call yourself a superstar? BITCH PLEASE! The only stars you'll be seeing will be the ones floating above your head after I knock your ass out!" Collective oohs and awes echoed throughout the audience as the brazen newcomer accompanied her words with a few more steps towards Mic Chick. "Watchu doin' in this ring anyhow? Shouldn't you be singin' or pounding drums or something? Cause you certainly ain't here to Rumble!... Oh wait a minute, I bet you came her to dance, huh?" The loud Jamaican women brushed aside the referee as she got right in the face of her opponent - "So whattaya waiting for then... lets dance!" Renatta spread her arms out to either side, dropping the mic to the ground as the last of her words sent a wave of excited murmurs into the crowd.

Mic Chick continued to stretch. Her arms, legs, wrists, as Renatta made her way to the ring. She watched her out of the corner of her eye, focusing mostly on making sure she was limber for the match ahead. At the very least, Renatta seemed confident. With a name like Rumble, Mic would assume she was. Renatta didn't get the rocker's full attention until she grabbed the microphone and looked at her. The disapproving gaze she felt was met with a sugar sweet one from Mic as she winked at her, holding both arms out in her direction as if to give her the floor as she reclined back in the corner.

She couldn't help but laugh when her opponent had said her name with venom, rolling her eyes and looking out at the crowd, shrugging. Chick would nonetheless keep listening, putting a hand to her chest in mock worry, accented with a gasp, when she threatened to knock her ass out. As Rumble continued to talk smack, she didn't get much from Mic until she was in her face, to which Mic just smirked at her, giving her a skeptical look, not making a move and just looking back at her.

The rock n' roller then said, "Oh, we're gonna dance, but I'm not pounding drums tonight--" The referee finally got between the both of them, guiding Rumble away from Mic Chick as she stood in her corner still, showing no fear in her eyes still as she grabbed hold of the top rope with both hands and gave a final stretch before the bell rang.

With that, she would start to circle her way into the ring, keeping her eye on Renatta Rumble with a challenging look in her eyes. Licking her lips, she hunched down, holding up a hand as she wiggled her fingers, signaling she was looking to have a test of strength with her opponent, but only the one hand at first. She gave Renatta a nod, looking to challenge her in a serious competition.

Renatta loved this part before a match: The smack-talk, the duel of words before fists. Of course the aim was to psychologically probe an opponent as early on as possible, to break down their defenses before the fight had really begun. But in this regard, Mic Chick might as well have been a brick wall. She smirked and scoffed her way through the Jamaican's goading, even daring to throw in the occasional eyeroll to signal just how little she thought of the newcomer's taunts.

A few more vulgar gibes slipped through Renatta's mind and almost out her mouth, if it weren't for the referee's commanding hand guiding her back to her corner. She jabbed her finger out at Mic Chick from afar, menacingly swiping her tongue overtop her teeth as she eagerly awaited the bell. As soon it did, Renatta pushed herself from the corner and into a crouched stance, taking large lateral strides around the center of the ring in rhythmic fashion with her opponent.

A million openings surged through the debutants head. An early rush might be enough to catch her off guard, although judging by Mic Chick's build, she seemed to be the speedy type. A straight up strike exchange would almost certainly end up in Renatta's favor, but she doubted her opponent would be bold enough to engage. But the question of how to attack first was answered by none other than her opponent herself, who raised her fingers in open challenge for a test of strength. Renatta's eyebrows perked up as she stared at the hand with hidden glee.

She closed the gap with a single stride all while maintaining her slightly crouched position. Anchoring her feet into the mat, Renatta slowly leaned forward and interlocked her fingers with Mic Chick's, exerting a sudden burst of forward pressure as she attempted to make her strength immediately known to her opponent. "So what'll it be then - Tango? Waltz? I'm more of a Rumba girl myself" Renatta snickered to herself as she slowly amped up the pressure.

Mic Chick had clasped her hand with Renatta's own. She was clearly not as strong as the newcomer was, but that didn't really give her much pause regardless. When Renatta applied pressure onto the rocker's hand, she let out a mocking gasp of pain, shaking her head in panic for a second, before cracking the faรงade and saying, "Thinking Swing tonight."

She would then wink at Rumble and then pull down Renatta's arm, stepping back in a fancy dance move before stepping forward and holding both of their arms above their heads and spinning in place. Then, Mic Chick would spin out to Rumble's side and throw her weight away from her until their arms were stretched out completely. And then Mic threw out her other arm to the side to finish off a fancy little dance number with her opponent as the crowd cheered and laughed along with her. She would then do a fancy bow before standing back upright, still holding onto that hand, and then gestured for Renatta to take a bow as well.

Being a bit of a showgirl herself, it wasn't often that Renatta fell for a guise as textbook as her opponent's...but she had to admit, Mic Chick's act was convincing. Her arms buckled under the Jamaican's impressive weight as her faced grimaced with deceptive pain. It wasn't until her opponent's retort did Renatta's own grin finally begin to wither away.

Rather than push with opposing force as was expected in a test of strength, Mic simply pulled herself in, completely catching Rumble unaware. Before she knew it, her opponent had seized control of her arm, bending it high above their heads before sending her whole body into a twirl. One second she was facing Mic's smug face, then the blur of the audience, before returning to face her opponent now two arm lengths away.

Dizzy and confused, Renatta pressed the palm of her hand against the side of her temple, before shaking it off with an annoyed grunt. Her eyes glanced towards the crowd, their collective laughter sending Renatta into a silent rage, but not nearly as much as Mic Chick's ditzy bow. Not wanting to let her opponent think she got the better of her, Rumble did her best to maintain an unimpressed expression, swiveling her neck side to side before locking eyes with Mic once more.

Hoping to take advantage of her opponent's frivolous display, Renatta launched forward into an unannounced charged! She hunched downwards, leading with her shoulder as she pounded into the mat and closed the distance. With arms spread out in front of her, it was clear to all in the arena that Renatta was attempting to seek retribution with a high-impact spear takedown!

The rocker was ever the showwoman as her impromptu dance number had hit big with the crowd. With a cheeky smirk, she had wanted Renatta Rumble to bow with her, but she had a very distinct idea that she wasn't about to play along. Just a hunch. Mic hadn't anticipated it to be quite as much of a jovial experience for the Jamaican, and she saw the dangerous look in her eye and knew she was going to take a swipe at some revenge. Scouting her, Mic Check was able to react quickly to the charge.

The Ring Rocker would then leap up high in the air, performing a split and briefly slapping her own legs as Renatta went under her! Upon landing gracefully, Mic added, "I'm good at hip hop too." She added the remark slyly as she made a full on sprint to the ropes, rebounding so she could come back towards Rumble. She loved to have fun, but it was clear that the newcomer wasn't going to play along or even humor any of it, so Chick might as well take advantage of it before she tries too much.

Rocketing right back to Renatta Rumble at full speed and leaping in the air right before she got to her, throwing her heel backwards as she went for a Jumping Calf Kick, aiming to clock her foe in the face with a flashy yet effective strike. Getting first strike here would do wonders for the pace of the rest of the match for Mic Chick, given their size difference, and for one, it would also ensure that Rumble would remain on back footing going forward.

Like a raging bull, Renatta charged forwards with her target in sight. The goal was clear, to bash her opponent into a another dimension, or perhaps more realistically, send her crashing to the floor in a winded and wheezing heap. The rest of the match would be pretty easy from there she reckoned.

...Assuming Mic Chick stayed in one spot that was, which of course, she didn't. Within a blink of an eye, Renatta's target was no longer in her war path, but rather above it. Too forgone in her streamlined rampage, Renatta was unable to change course as she crashed through open air instead of her opponent. As Mic Chick dropped yet another dance-themed pun, Renatta could only let out a loud sigh of air as she braced herself to collide against the ropes on the other side of the ring.

But Mic planned to send more than just corny jokes her way. By the time Renatta turned her head around to reconfigure her sights on her opponent, it was already too late. "Graagh!" Renatta muffled a cry as Mic Chick's leg collided square into her face! The impact drove her hurdling deep against the ropes, almost spilling over the edge, only to come flopping back face-first into the canvas with a groan.

Renatta shook her head as she tried to clear the cobwebs. Gritting her teeth, she propped herself up on her elbows, determined to make it too her feet before her energetic foe could take advantage of her downed state.

The Jumping Calf Kick hit Renatta square in her face, and the Ring Rocker landed on her knees beside her, looking at the camera and sticking out her studded tongue and winked at it. "I don't have a good joke for kicking someone in the face, but something tells me you wouldn't appreciate it anyway," remarked Mic, putting a hand on the back of Rumble's head and pushing down to help push herself up. Just another little something to tick off her dark-skinned opponent. She was good at chipping down an opponent like that, and could absolutely got for the most subtly petty things when it came to an opponent trying their best to posture or piss her off. Nobody could out-petty a rock star if they wanted. And it was clear that this Rumble chick could use a little bit of humbling from her.

As Chick popped to her feet again, she would run to the ropes behind Renatta to make sure she wouldn't have a good opportunity to see what she was up to. Mic wasted no time beating Renatta Rumble before she was fully up and then came up behind her, pressing down on her shoulders to propel herself up and over the Jamaican and land right in front of her. Then, the rocker would go for a combination. First, a mule kick to the midsection, then a rising knee to her face, and a side kick directly to Rumble's knee. She wanted to drop her back down to one knee so she could step back and finish one of her signature moves, the Check One Two by throwing a big superkick to her kneeling opponent. She had a flourish for the speedy and the kicks to back up any offense.

"Oh I appreciate a good joke, why do you think I'm fighting you after all?" Renatta snickered, but her rebuttal barely had time to land before Mic Chick shoved her face back down into the mat. Annoyed by the constant setbacks, Rumble pushed her palms flat against the canvas in an attempt to spring back up to her feet. She knew her opponent would be quick to respond, but if she could just get back up quick enough, maybe she'd be positioned well enough to stop anything too drastic from happening.

But Mic Chick was far faster than she had anticipated, already having dashed across the ring and hurdling right back before Renatta even had time to get her bearing straight. Downwards pressure pushed down on her shoulders as the Rocker leapfrogged right over her, before a mule kick to the midsection sent the air in her lungs bursting out of her with a loud gasp.

Clutching the area of impact, Renatta could only grimace as Mic Chick followed up with a brutal knee to her face "Eugh!" Renatta yelled as her neck snapped backward in respond, threatening to floor the woman entirely, but not before a stinging side kick forced her back down onto a knee. Her head lolled forward as she tried to maintain her balance, the muffled cheer of the audience bouncing around in her battered head. It was pretty clear that they were enjoying seeing this new rookie get demolished.

Before Renatta could have a chance to change their minds, Mic Chic's conclusion to her combo was already well on it's way. "HMMPF!" Renatta shrieked as her opponent's boot came crashing into her face for the signature, sending the large middleweight toppling over onto her back with a loud thud. The arena lights bore into her eyes from above, making her already blurry perception even more difficult to bear. With a pained wheeze, The Jamaican debutant attempted to peel herself off the mat, only to fall back down with loud yelp.
