Enrieta had originally been expecting her LAW debut to be in an arena, in a ring, with thousands of spectators. Instead, it would be a relatively small room, on some matts surrounded by steel barricades, with a fraction of the spectators than one would get in a typical match. Not that Enrieta was perturbed. She liked the idea of making a crowd roar in her favor as she was on a role, or boo helplessly as she destroyed a crowd favourite, but what she liked most about wrestling was the fight itself. The chance to leave her opponent beaten bloodied a broken, after a consistent and cruel assault. She’d just as easily get in a fight with nobody watching. But if nothing else, her fights being visible attracted different and better competition, so while the in person crowd would be relatively small, there was technically no limit on who’d get to see her on camera. Enrieta stepped into the room and toward the mats as her theme played
Her opponent today was to be the Japanese Matsumi Saeba, the "Shooter Classic". Another Young Lioness, about her height and weight. A young, proud wrestler she'd get the oppertunity to beat some fear and doubt into. Apparently she was a skilled striker, so as good as Enrieta was on that front, something she’d definitely want her opponent to feel at some point, Enrieta would have to force her to fight another way. Not that it would be particularly easy. The nature of the venue was such that there wasn’t much space to manoeuvre and there were limits to how well Enrieta could use her extensive capacity for aerials. Apart from where they were fighting, the match was to be standard, which was fine by Enrieta. The weapons she’d find here would be limited in variety and she wasn’t interested in gouging eyes or going for crotch shots. She could do plenty of damage within
Now past the barricades and onto the mats, all that was left was for her opponent to arrive.
