Chiaki vs Azura: Lightweight Bikini Battle

Chiaki Nanami was somewhat concerned about this match, stemming from how she ended up being booked into it. Excluding things like title or event matches, the amount of control and freedom wrestlers had over what matches they got booked to fight in was roughly proportional to their financial security, since either threats or bonuses to wrestler's contract money was the main leverage LAW held when it came to their talent. Chiaki, having a steady, sizable income completely independent of LAW, was one of the lucky wrestlers who could pretty much take or turn down fights as she pleased.

But LAW wanted her for this match badly, and they were persistent. The Water Songstress Azura, beach, bikini, mercy submission match. When Chiaki looked into her opponent, Azura proved to be quite popular despite only having one pro match, a mixed mercy match, where the songstress had little of it to spare on the poor, scared opponent that she'd dominated. But what would LAW offer, if money wasn't of great interest to Chiaki?

A favor. Something LAW could get creative with. And what they finally got Chiaki with was what you might expect: video games. In exchange for taking this match, on top of a nice bonus, Chiaki would be allowed to dev test and have input on the new official LAW video game that was so early in production that it hadn't even been announced to the public yet. And so here Chiaki stood, bikini clad with warm sand beneath her feet, her music cueing her entrance.

It was another Mercy Match for Azura. After her official debut into LAW and her general conduct during the match the officials were interested in pushing her into another match with the same conditions. Sadism and cruelty selled in LAW after all, and Azura's treatment of Nicki was far from kind. It was for a nobler goal than just indulging in a desire to hurt another, but it was also hard to argue there was some pleasure in it as well. And given the quality of her last opponent she wondered what kind of person she was facing this time. Her last opponent was fresh-faced, unable to handle themselves, and was clearly a cub thrown into a lion's den, but who knew what this next foe would be like. Another beginner that needed to be shown the ropes? A weak wrestler meant to be push to the physical and mental limit by her hand? Maybe even a skill wrestler that was meant to make her taste the same humiliation she brought onto her last opponent.

And this opponent, this Chiaki girl... Azura didn't have much knowledge of them. She knew this Chiaki had a decent record of matches, but that was it. What she was like, how she fought, and if she could handle Azura or vice versa was yet to be seen. I wonder...

As her theme rang out Azura revealed herself to the crowd, her face as stoic and neutral as always. All in all, at least the setting would be interesting. A match on the beach made for a few interesting strategies to try out, as well as unique ways to force out a surrender. And as the match requested, Azura donned a bright white bikini, one that greatly highlighted her figure and body as she took in the crowd's cheers and praises.

Approaching the ring. Azura finally got a look at her opponent. A girl a little under Azura's height and with a rather blank expression on her face to match Azura's. "Hm..." Already her mind was debating on how to handle this girl. She's shorter than me, and likely lighter, so I should be able to use a few throws and other power moves at the right angles, but... Her discerning gaze softened, and she gave a nod to her opponent. "Nanami-san, correct?" Azura asked. "I'm Azura, you're opponent for this match." She gave a small bow. "I hope we'll have a good match. Please don't hold anything against me as we fight, and I won't hold a grudge in turn."

Chiaki came to the ring and met her opponent Azura face to face for the first time. The interaction threw Chiaki for a bit of a loop, as the songstress was both courteous and respectful in addressing her. It was a stark contrast to how she had handled her first opponent. It started to make more sense the more Azura talked. Her mindset seemed to be "Mercy match is a mercy match, no hard feelings either way."

"I am, yes," Chiaki said. "But Chiaki is fine. Congratulations on getting so popular so fast. LAW really knows what they want to do with you. Management gave me one heck of a bribe so they could put me in this match with you. They're looking for more of the same here, I think." Chiaki smirked has she reached out for a handshake. "But at the very least, you can count on more of a fight than you got last time Azura."

Azura seemed respectable enough to Chiaki that she trusted the bluenette to not pull anything with the handshake, and Chiaki had no ill intent herself. Once the handshake was done, and the bell rung to start the match, Chiaki would open with a quick, light jab. Regardless of whether Azura got hit, blocked, or dodged the punch, the gamer girl would try to follow up by making use of the fact that her arm was extended out near the songstress to swiftly grab Azura by the wrist and pull her forward, so that Chiaki could come around with her other arm and apply a headlock.

Azura gave a curt nod. "Chiaki-san then." Dropping honorifics was difficult for Azura, so used to being polite made most casual and informal speech feel foreign, as was the offer for a handshake. She stared at Chiaki's hand for a moment as if it was an item, the calmly took it, her neutral expression twitching at her words. It was hard to argue, Azura was indeed popular and got that popularity fast thanks to both her last match and the way she conducted herself during it. Sexual domination, a seemingly sadistic refusal to end a match she was clearly winning, both the audience and the officials loved the sight of it. It was believable that she'd be paired with another weak wrestler, but Chiaki's nearly sarcastic tone had Azura bristle. And the mention of a bribe...

"... ... ..." Did she only agree to this for a prize? Regardless, it seemed Chiaki had enough confidence to at least put up as much a fight as she could manage. That much Azura could respect, and she let the edge of her lips rise to a small smile. "In that case, I look forward to seeing your effort Chiaki-san. You may even be able to conquer me if you truly believe your claim."

With the pleasantries out of the way and the bell ringing, the fight was on. Chiaki struck out fast, her fist move right for Azura. She dipped back, narrowly dodging the punch with light steps along the sand. "Hm," Her eyes sharpened in Chiaki's direction. She was right, this was already more than her last opponent mustered, at least at the start. A quick punch wasn't much to go off of, but it was a clear sign Chiaki was going to fight. Along with her follow-up, snatching Azura wrist and starting to pull her into a head.

"Hn-!" But Azura steeled her nerves, shooting her leg low for a sharp low kick to Chiaki's leg to push her off.

Chiaki didn't particularly care about honorifics, but if Azura wanted to address Chiaki with them, than she wasn't going to bother stopping her. She noticed that she got a bit of a rise when she mentioned LAW bribing her to be here, and she responded with a chuckle and a shrug. "What can I say? Management knows me well. They knew just what to offer. It's not as if I didn't want to fight you though, it's just that mercy matches aren't something I usually do. They seem like they can get dangerous if you lose to the wrong opponent."

Once the fight started, Azura was quick enough to dodge the jab thrown by Chiaki. But she had been caught by the follow up grab, as most often were. But what really mattered was what happened after Chiaki got the grab. While having hold of her opponent's arm was certainly a good thing for Chiaki, there was still plenty that Azura could do to fight back.

Chiaki was able to get her headlock, getting her arm around Azura's bluenette head and pulling it against her side. But Azura was quick to strike back. Before Chiaki could do anything else, Azura was already busy on taking out the streamer's leg. Chiaki fell to the ground, but dragged Azura down with her into the sand. Chiaki would then scramble to try to get on top of Azura, continuing to fight for the advantage. If she could, then she would try to throw some punches at Azura's head.

The kick hit its mark, and Chiaki's balance started to slip. The lack of stability or solid footing from the sand had caused her opponent to tumble instantly afterwards, dragging Azura's body down along with her.

"Agh-!" And despite the sandy surface the landing was far from kind. Grains of sand peppered along both girls' bodies, and the light impact had Azura's front and sides throbbing a little, but there was no time to shake off the blow. Chiaki moved fast, now trying to use their downed position to get a mount on the Songstress. Immediately a fight for control and position started, Azura using her legs to kick at Chiaki's body and keep her at a distance, fighting her every step of their sandy struggle. This definitely wasn't like her last match. This was an honest fight.

While Chiaki ended up over Azura, she wasn't able to truly get on top of her. Before the gamer girl could mount the bluenette, Azura had started trying to knock Chiaki away with her legs. The match had quickly turned into a sandy scrap, with the two women trading a handful of blows, though neither landed hits that were particularly clean or strong. It was closer to limbs being thrown about in a jostle for position.

Chiaki was struggling to get past Azura's long, lithe legs. Meaning that the gamer girl couldn't get close enough to assert control over the songstress even though she was down on her back. And because of that, Azura wouldn't be down on her back much longer for Chiaki to try to take advantage of. At this point, Chiaki either had to give up her assault and allow the match to reset, or commit to something from a weaker position that she was hoping for.

Even if it wasn't to an overwhelming degree, Chiaki still working from a position of advantage, so the pinkette chose to press it. Now, instead of trying to get past Azura's legs to get to her body, Chiaki would simply go for Azura's legs instead. She would try to wrap her arms around one leg and pin it against her side while grabbing Azura's other leg with her own legs. If she succeeded, Chiaki would then drop onto her back and start pulling and cranking them apart in a banana split hold.

The fight on the ground had both Azura and the crowd primed. Messy punches and slaps from Chiaki traded with quick pokes from Azura's legs. It was a narrow battle to just get an inch of the momentum on both sides. But despite the wild melee Azura's mind remained sharp. Her kicks and shoves all moved with purposed, keeping her breathing and nerve steady as she kept Chiaki at bay. It wasn't much, but if Chiaki continued her offense the energy and stamina spent should outweigh Azura's. It'd be enough to start truly tipping things in Azura's favor. Just a little longer... Chiaki had to start showing fatigue soon, and that's when Azura would make her big move.

That was the plan... but Chiaki had other ideas. Done with trying to get a mount in, Chiaki now went for the easier target of Azura's legs, wrapping her arms around one of them as her started to slink her own legs around Azura's other. "Ah-" Azura's blinked in surprise, her eyes raised in realization. It was a daring move, but a smart one. Azura's legs were a much more viable target than fighting for a mount position. A clever tactic... However...

"Sloppy!"

The moment Azura felt Chiaki's hands along her leg Azura kicked out hard without her free leg, jerking her body to the side to try forcing Chiaki at an odd angle that'd force her to let go and have the two reset things.

Chiaki went back for the grab, but it seemed like Azura had been ready for it. The moment the gamer's arms started to close around the leg of the songstress, Azura jerked her body away and pulled her leg free. And now, there was no more advantage to push for Chiaki. Trying to attack any further from here would just be greedy, and probably an easy counter for Azura considering the escape she had just performed.

And so both women stood up, a few steps apart. Neither wrestler quite in range of the other. "You're quicker on the draw than most, I think," said Chiaki. "Most people wouldn't have realized what I was going for until I was already around both of their legs." Chiaki would let Azura take the initiative this time around. Maybe Azura would provide a more easily exploited opening if she was the one focused on attacking.

With Chiaki off her and her body free of the gamer's weight, Azura smoothly rose to her feet, running a hand through her hair and shaking out the sand in a single, flowing movement. It was tempting to shake the sand from her body as well, but she resisted. Best not to leave herself open while trying to look elegant. "Hm," Her eyes glanced over to Chiaki, noting her distance and pause in aggression. A smart one. "I'm sure you're right, Chiaki-san." She said.

"In most cases such an aggressive move would catch the opponent off guard and leave them stuck in a rather humiliation submission hold, only left to suffer or tap." Her eyes looked over Chiaki, slowly growing frigid. "But wanton attacks to my legs when I was already primed to use them was poor judgement." With that, she moved toward Chiaki, shooting her knee up as if going for a knee strike to her stomach before shooting her leg downward to trick the girl with a harsh low kick.
