The opening riff to Takedown by Blue Stahli range out and then the blaring sound starts at HEAT Mihoko runs out onto the stage for her debut, looking as pumped up as anyone could ever be for her debut. She ran from one end of the start, rallying the crowd, then over to the other side before outright sprinting to the ring. The dove under the ring and rose, continuing a sprint and bouncing off one rope, back to the other side, then stopped in the middle, doing a spin right in the middle of the ring with an excited grin on her face, then threw a finger gun in the air, nodding her head repeatedly.

It was her debut, and Mihoko wanted to make the absolute most of it. Spending most of her time isolated in the locker room, she got herself dressed and ready for the match, and anyone backstage would have noticed she didn't seem like she even wanted to be there, let alone out in front of a crowd. But minutes before the match, she was seen backstage screaming motivation to herself and even slapping her own face, psyching herself up like none other.

The result was the highly motivated and fired up girl standing in the ring, and she was excited she couldn't contain herself as she hopped up and down in the corner, awaiting the entrance of her opponent and getting ready to fight. HEAT Mihoko was ready to brawl and show LAW what she had to offer!

It was the same pre-match ritual she had done a dozen times while in the indies, except this time Tori was doing it in the backstage locker room of one of the world's most premier wrestling organizations. She clipped on the last of her decorative feathers onto her attire, spreading out her faux wings as she admired just how well her outfit fit her flamingo gimmick. She then shadowboxed in front of the mirror, bringing her knees up to gut an invisible opponent that she imagined would then flop onto the mat in agony.

A stern knock on the locker room door alerted her to the fact that it was time to turn her dreams into reality, to grace the stage not as a small time performer but as an up-and-coming superstar worthy of respect. From what she had been told, tonight's opponent was in much the same position. A fellow debutant who would also be gracing the big leagues for the first time. In a way she sympathized with her, but sympathy wasn't going to get her the win! With a determined gaze, she burst through the entrance curtain, setting herself up for a running start down the ramp as her theme music blared through the arena speakers

Tori 'Flaming Flamingo' Martin

She greeted the cheer crowds with a confident smile, spreading her arms out once more like a bird about to take flight. As she neared the ring, she decided to opt for a theatrical entrance as opposed to the ring steps, taking three huge leaps before somersaulting through the air and landing directly on the ring apron! She gave a cheeky bow to the crowed as they cheered on the dazzling display, before she finally slipped through the ropes and entered the ring.

She hovered just a few feet from her corner, bouncing back and forth on the tips of her toes as she eyed her opponent for tonight. She was a tad bit shorter than she was, but she figured it wasn't enough to make too much of a difference in this match. Her eyes wandered up to meet the girl's face, noting the equal layers of spunk and beauty that radiated from the young fighter. When the time was right, she would meet her opponent in the center of the ring, extending a hand out for a friendly shake to formally kick things off.

"Tori Martin. I'd wish you luck, but I don't believe in it, so instead I'll say may the best rookie win!" Tori said half-jokingly with a wink.

HEAT Mihoko walk to the ring with interest as she stayed mobile with interest as she paced and hopped in place, eagerly awaiting her opponent's entrance. She was a beautiful girl with a fabulously flashy outfit, and Mihoko grinned. The bright girl was a new debut as well, and Mihoko was keenly aware she likely wanted to win as well.

Heading to the center of the ring, HEAT met with Tori, and all doubt on how much Tori wanted to win was removed. The black-haired girl glanced at Tori's hand before walking straight into her, pressing her forehead to Martin's. "Make no mistake, that best rookie is me! And there is not a chance I lose to you!" exclaimed HEAT aggressively before pushing at Martin with her chest and taking a few places back. "So let's see what you got, peacock!" she said, seemingly incredibly fired up still, waving her towards her.

Mihoko was abrasive, passionate, and ready to win, fellow rookie be damned.

Tori's lips curled into an amused grin as her opponent brushed right past her outstretched hand, choosing to instead bump heads in what was an attempt to intimate the fellow rookie. Tori didn't even flinch as Mihoko's forehead shoved up against hers, her words seeming to have pushed a few buttons in the young fighter. Tori retracted her hand with a loud scoff, curling her fingers into a fist that she instead placed ready at her side.

"Have it your way then. Just try not to cry after this flam-in-go kicks your ass in front of all these people, alright hot-shot?" Tori snickered, making sure to brush away Heat's snub by enunciating the name of her signature bird. Her tongue swiped against her teeth from beneath her lips, every fiber in her being twitching in anticipation for the fight to start. The referee exchanged worrying glances between the two pent-up fighters before finally swiping her hand between them, motioning for the opening bell to be rung and for the match to officially start!

Tori wouldn't waste any time silencing her spunky opponent. She ground one leg firmly in front of her while letting the other other one swing behind before directing it's momentum back around. She arched her leg upwards, twisting her hips in unison with the motion before bending her leg at the knee and extending it downwards at the last second, aiming to strike HEAT right in the base of her neck with a downwards roundhouse kick!

"Hot shot!?" exclaimed HEAT, looking mighty annoyed at the seemingly innocuous nickname. "You're really going to wish you didn't poke at me!"

Mihoko was determined to look at in control and ready as possible glaring at her opponent with a piercing gaze, which didn't seem to rattle Tori too much. As much as Mihoko talked loud and was a bit grating on the nerves, it seemed like it didn't rattle Martin too much.

And as soon as Tori started moving, HEAT got ready, adopting a defensive pose. She wasn't prepared for the unorthodox roundhouse kick, and when she went to dodge, the brunette actually dodged directly into where Martin wanted her to! "Ahn!" she hollered before falling directly into the mat, holding the side of her neck before pushing herself off the mat with her other hand. This was definitely not how Mihoko wanted to start this fight off.

The loud cheers from the crowd propelled Tori's leg as it found it's mark against her opponent's neck, the effect of the blow actually accentuated by Mihoko's haphazardly dodge. Her foot connected with it's target, eliciting a sharp cry of pain from her opponent as she fell onto the mat. Tori didn't use the opportunity to follow up on the attack, instead bouncing lightly on her feet with her fists still curled up by her face and a smug smile to top it off.

"Ooh something tells me you didn't like that one. Don't tell me HEAT can't take the heat!" Tori taunted, prompting with her fingers for her opponent to get back on her feet. Part of her found the whole thing amusing. After all, she had offered her hand out in friendship only to have it rebuked. If Mihoko wanted to get all foul-mouthed, then Tori was more than happy to do the same.

The Flamingo waited until her opponent was on steady ground, affording her that honor at least. But as soon as she made it up, Tori would strike again, this time in the form of a superman punch! She took a two-step hop before leaping into the air, reeling her arm backwards before unleashing her clenched fist right into her opponent's head. If the hit landed, it would be enough to send HEAT reeling back towards the ropes!

Mihoko growled in response to Tori's diss and yelled out, "Oh, I've never heard that one before!" It was a common insult for her, but HEAT certainly earned her namesake. At the very least, it seemed to always give her a more impassioned fight from her opponent. She got to her feet and then turned around, a little surprised that her opponent had given her that recovery time.

As HEAT turned, she saw Tori charging right at her, leaping into the air! Acting fast, Mihoko would duck and wheel around behind Martin's Superman Punch, sliding on a knee as she swiveled around. "Nice try!" exclaimed HEAT before grabbing for Tori under her thigh and around the back and then attempting to hoist her up in a back suplex, aiming to drop her flashy opponent on the back of her head!

As haughty as her opponent was turning out to be, Tori still felt bound by the informal rules of sportsmanship, unless her opponent gave her a reason not be. It was for this reason that she was willing to risk her opponent making a speedy recovery in return for a fair fight. As was to be expected though, delaying her attack only meant that Mihoko had more time to counter, to which she did flawlessly.

Tori's fist ended up hitting nothing but open air, her boots landing on the canvas with a dull thud as her head spun around to keep up with her whizzing opponent. Before she knew it, HEAT already had her arms locked around her waist, hoisting her entire body up into the air. Her vision turned upside as she felt herself on the descent, only to be forcefully slammed into the mat below in a devastating suplex. Luckily, Tori tucked her chin in right before impact, limiting the effect of her head rebounding off the mat, but the blow still hurt like hell.

The brunt of the blow was absorbed by the back of her head, but she still managed to sloppily summersault backwards after HEAT let go before splaying out face first on the mat. She groaned as she brought herself to her hands knees, rubbing the back of her with one had as she tried to soothe the aching pain. "Don't worry hot-head...I still got plenty more" She grumbled continuing off her previous statement, hoping to buy herself enough time to recover.

Up and down Mihoko took Tori as she dropped her in that Back Suplex and quickly wheeled back around to one knee, smirking as she surveyed her opponent. HEAT looked satisfied with her handiwork, nodding as she stood back up. "Better to be a hot head than have a busted one!" exclaimed HEAT before turning and running to the ropes with impressive speed.

On the rebound, she would come right at Martin while she was on her hands and knees and line her up perfectly. And then Mihoko would throw her feet forward, trying to hit a low dropkick directly to her colorful opponent's head!

Tori was still in a daze from the suplex, but a small part of her was actually impressed that her smaller opponent was able to pull of such a smooth reversal. However she was still on her hands and knees, struggling to get up to her feet. She perked her head up in a snicker, at first only to admire her opponent's witty remark, but when she saw what was coming her way her face quickly contorted into a surprised expression.

"GAGH!" she cried as her opponent's boots crashed into her face. The dropkick was enough to send her tumbling along the mat, knocked clean off her knees as she rolled several times until stopping just short of the ring apron. "Fuck!" Tori yelped, as she clutched her face, now seething in pain. Knowing that her opponent wasn't likely to give her any respite, Tori was left with very few options but to retreat.

The kick had sent her undeath the ropes and teetering off the ring edge, but with a shove off to her side, she purposely pushed herself out of the ring. She landed on the concreate floor on shaky feet, prompting the referee to immediately begin the count-out. She scowled, realizing that retreat had made her look weak, but she needed time to recover after such a brutal blow. She payed closed attention to her opponent still inside the ring as she herself circle outside it's edge, biding her time until felt herself fit enough to reenter.
