Emerald Souls - Alizeh vs Cassandra

Cassandra had been notified of a match against another woman, as per usual.. but today it was.. different.

LAW had requested her and she presumed her middleweight opponent, Alizeh Midori, as well to wear a costume to the fight. They didn’t specify which one, but she supposed her regular Butterfly one wouldn’t fit the mould. So, she had decided on it, and had it sent to her locker room before she even went backstage. Currently, the tanned little butterfly was bouncing through the background maze of LAW, searching for her assigned locker room.

She vaguely remembered the location, so she’d take a left, then go straight.. and come to a stop in front of identical doors.

Then she’d blink. She couldn’t remember which one was hers.. and which one, she’d presume, was for her opponent. Either way, she’d decide.. it was 50/50, so she could take a risk! Picking the door on the left, Cassie turned the handle.

“Great..!”

She’d assume it was hers, as it wasn’t locked at the very least.. and barged in, doing a cartwheel over, and crashing her butt right down onto a chair, fanning her forehead as she’d have worked up a bit of a sweat due to sprinting through the corridors.. completely unaware of who else could be in the room..

“Whew.. I’m beat..!”

Alizeh hummed softly as she sat in her dressing room, touching up the make up she'd be wearing for her match tonight. Unlike most of her other matches the LAW bookers had requested that she and her opponent alike dressed up in cosplay for this particular bout. Naturally Alizhe had no issue with this being an avid cosplayer, hell her first match in the company had been a cosplay match!

Now while she had no real information on her opponent Cassandra what with the girl being a newbie only a few months into the company, she DID hear from a backstage friend what the girl requested as a costume. So naturally Alizeh decided to play along and match the girl.

So having arrived early Alizeh had dressed up in her outfit already which was more than easy enough since it was almost the same as what she would normally wear with the exception of the colors. But what would really sell this look would be the touch ups. So Alizeh was putting some extra time into doing her makeup and making sure the blue streaks she put in her hair was ok.

"Alrighty. Hair looks good. Not black but not a big deal, and my make up looks good. Heh man I actually make a really good nessa!" Alizeh said to herself after doing the last of her touch ups and taking a good view of herself in the mirror.

However just as she was about to stand up her door was kicked in. "Huh?" Looking up in surprise Alizeh watched as another girl cartwheeled into the room and landed right on her lap! Eyes widening Alizeh was about to say something before recognizing the dark haired girl from the pictures and videos she had seen of her opponent before hand. 'Ahhhh the clueless type. How cute!'

Thinking to herself with a smile Alizeh decided to not kick the girl out, rather she'd reach up and poke her on the side of the head. "Hey there. Don't think I ordered room service but I definitely don't mind." She said in a joking and flirty tone to the girl, eager to see how she'd react.

After having quite literally flipped into the room, making a rather loud entrance, Cassandra had dropped into a chair in her haste. She’d wipe some sweat off her forehead, before softly exhaling and leaning her head back..

“I’m so..-“

She’d blink.

Wait, why did she feel something soft pressing against her. That wasn’t a cushion.. she’d look down, and realise she was sitting on someone’s lap. A chill ran down her spine as she’d feel the poke to her head, a rather flirty sentence being addressed to her. She’d squeal, shooting off Alizehs lap like a lightning bolt, turning around and bowing her head down real low, her face flushed

“SORRY!! I didn’t mean to, I.. I got the doors mixed up and was tired and in a rush so I didn’t see you!”

Cassie, as Alizeh could see, was dressed in a lovely little outfit, a Pokemon themed one as well. Instead of a newer trainer like Alizeh, Cass had picked one of the originals.. Sabrina. However, she certainly lacked the composure of her, at least here, as she’d be practically shaking from embarrassment, bowing down low with a red face.

Alizeh despite her young age of twenty one had been around the wrestling business for a long time and had grown accustomed to the various weird or random shenanigans that could happen backstage. Especially when you had your own locker room.

But that being said having her surprisingly adorable opponent randomly drop into her lap was definitely a new one. But compared to some of the ribs she had seen done it definitely wasn't a unwelcome surprise.

Even so despite Alizeh vocalizing that she didn't care much it apparently didn't register with Cass who was immediately off her lap in a frantic mess. Which you know what valid.

Sitting back and allowing Cass to get through the bulk of it the green haired girl decided to admire the dark haired woman's choice in costume which was similar to her own choice, but also oh so different. But when it appeared Cassandra had finally calmed Alizeh would smile softly to show her everything was fine before continuing.

"Heh chill its all good. It was more funny than anything and I don't mind sharing a dressing room so no stress." Getting up from her chair as she did so Alizeh turned her hands to the side, offering the seat to the younger wrestler. "Feel free. Good choice in costume by the way.

Though I probably would have went with Janine if we're talking someone from Kanto, even if she's not technically from gen 1." Offering the seat with a wink she also opened the floor to converse about their outfits. After all with how close the two had picked in terms of franchises how could she not geek out a bit?

Cassandra’s face was decidedly very red, seeing as she had sat down on someone’s lap, that someone being the very opponent she was slated to fight later that day. Her usually neat hair was messed up, and her cheeks were flushed, her face was slightly shining with a thin sheen of sweat. Positively adorable, but she was sure she looked pretty dishelved. Cassandra stood as stiffly as a startled cat, and that was a fairly solid assessment for her current state, all in all.

She’d stare up at Alizeh, taking her in properly. And wow, was she pretty.. Cassie’s cheeks were now red from another reason entirely.. and then she noticed the fact that Alizeh was dressed as Nessa. A small, nervous smile broke out onto her face, as she’d be extremely glad she picked Sabrina and not her.. other pick. Cassandra leaned down, and sat down, cross legged on the floor.

“I-i’m okay here.. and thanks..! I was gonna be Silk.. or Batgirl.. but I decided to go with Sabrina. Janine is.. uhm, nice..

But she didn’t really.. pop into my head.. would you believe it if i told you I never finished up the Kanto part of my Heartgold game?”

She’d finish bashfully, before staring up at her. She’d smile a bit, seeing the comedy in the situation..

“I like your outfit.. looks pretty..!

Alizeh chuckled to the girl as she leaned back in her chair. The offer to allow Cassandra to take the seat was declined which Alizeh supposed was fair, after all it was her dressing room. But she was a nice person and wouldn't have minded sharing with her guest. Either way this was happening and Alizeh was getting the chance to have some one on one time with her opponent, a rare occurrence in LAW. Better yet even this girl was a cosplayer like herself and had even chosen a similar costume! So naturally Alizeh was interested in this little interaction.

Looking the girl over once more Alizeh noted the quality of her outfit and how well put together it was. A sign of a good cosplayer. Hearing the girl's response to her words however Alizeh would chuckle while crossing her legs over each other.

"Haha nice. I probs would have gone wonder woman or the like if I was going comics." She said in response to what the girl said about other ideas before having to suppress a laugh at Cass's admittance of never finishing the kanto stretch of Heart Gold.

Shifting positions Alizeh would lean forward in her seat towards Cass with a smile present on her face and mirthful look in her eyes. "Well I had soul silver myself, but yeah I made it through Kanto... eventually." She said with a laugh before smiling a shade brighter at the compliment Cass threw her.

"Aw thanks yours is really great too!" She said paying the same compliment back in kind with a bright look on her face directed towards the girl.

“W-well.. you do seem like a wonderful woman..”

She’d say, albeit lamely. Was this how she flirted or just compliments? Cassandra crossed her palms over her wrist, staring up at Alizeh with a small smile, which just grew more bashful as Alizeh smiled at her. Her head tilted to the side, Cass wasn’t the most confident now, hers usually rose with time, or in the ring. She’d shrug a bit, before placing a hand to her cheek..

“I got invested in Platinum.. and so.. yeah, never finished! And thank you!”

Cassie looked around the room. Spying a water bottle, she’d purse her lips, reminded of how parched they felt right around now. She’d point at it, giving Alizeh a questioning look..

“Hey, I.. uhm, get that we’re supposed to knock each other out in around ten minutes from now, but I’m really thirsty.. could you please let me drink some water from here?”

[Bare]

Cassandra definitely was the anti social type, not unlike her choice in character to cosplay. That much was pretty obvious from all of her body language signs, not to mention just the expressions on her face, heck it looked like she wasn't even used to compliments.

But that wasn't for Alizeh to comment on, just observations to help her decide if she liked Cass. But so far things were looking good for the two.

Chuckling once more at the girl's choice in games Alizeh nodded while tossing her hair back. "Yeah ok no surprise there. Can't tell ya how many of my friends were the same way. But you totally missed out. Pokemon following you was easily one of the best features introduced and its only in heart gold and soul silver." She said in a braggy tone, missing the way Cass looked away at her smile.

But Alizeh would focus back in on Cassandra when the girl requested her water causing Alizeh to shrug. "Heh sure dude go for it. Its not like you being thirsty would help me win." Alizeh said before pausing for a moment, thinking about what she said before adding on. "Unless it was a hentai match. Then I would definitely want you going in thirsty." She said jokingly, hoping Cassandra would get the word play she used.

“I quite liked it. I started with a Totodile in Johto and a Chimchar in Sinnoh! Infernape is the best starter.. he’s a fiery monkey, reminds me of my sister here, Saori!”

If Alizeh thought Cass was anti social, she was wrong. She was only shy at first, but once she built up nerve and got going, very few things could stop this chatterbox. She’d lift a finger up..

“Well of course, she isn’t my real sister.. just my first opponent, and we call each other sisters! I totally beat her but she busted my face open with a chair.. I still have the scar, see!”

She’d point her finger at the bridge of her nose where a cute, but jagged little scar resided, Cassie having received it from a deadly Jungle Knee and chair combo. Nodding her thanks, she’d take the bottle and drink neatly but thirstily, quenching the thirst. Slowly capping it, she’d stare down at Alizeh, a tint of red approaching her features.. but she’d quash down the urge to squirm in embarrassment, replying to Alizeh with a wink instead.

”Well.. if I went in thirsty there.. I think you’d find me harder to beat. I’d drink you all up..-“

'Well this is a change.' Alizeh thought to herself at the sudden shift in demeanor from the girl. From shy and unsure to bubbly and excitable. 'Hehe maybe she just needed the right topic.' Alizeh thought to herself as she nodded.

"Reverse for me. I went with turtwig and cyndaquil respectively." She said proudly, quite happy with her initial starter picks and not willing to accept anything but them as the best!

"Fire monkeys are cool though." The green haired girl would admit at Cass's excitement before leaning forward as the girl came close to show off her scar at the expense of her 'sister.' "Hehe i see. you should treasure that battle scar. They tell a story, and its a good memento of your sis." Alizeh said, having more than her fair share of similar scars and stories and knowing how important they can be.

As Cass continued on to drink some water it appeared as if Alizeh's flirtatious joke didn't fall on deaf ears as rather than get rattled by it like she expected Cass didn't miss a beat! Smirking just a bit wider Alizeh nodded in appreciation for what the girl had said, clearly enjoying it.

Leaning back again Alizeh purposely spread her legs out and shook her hips a bit. "Oh yeah? Think you could drink me all in?" She asked playfully to the girl, wanting to see how Cass reacted to something a bit more forward.
