When Ember Sykes had had her first couple of matches in LAW she had been understandably nervous. Being shorter, younger, and less seasoned than most of the wrestlers on the roster had left her with some self-confidence issues. Now, however, it was a different story. After several successful matches in LAW, as well as what appeared to be a growing fanbase, Ember was now convinced she deserved to stand among the rest of the LAW contenders as a force to be reckoned with! As the arena fired up Ember's entrance music the spunky purple haired fighter soon followed. Stepping out from the backstage Ember stood proud and (figuratively) tall. Clad in her unorthodox wrestling attire, the short fighter had a grin on her face as she began to make her way to the ring.

Wrestling Attire

Waving and greeting her fans on the long path down the ramp Ember soon arrived at the ring, where she would immediately climb up on the apron. Sliding herself slowly and methodically through the middle ropes, making sure everyone got a good luck at her oversized behind, Ember entered the ring in full, raising her arms above her head and taking in the applause the followed. "Man, I love this place," Ember remarked to herself bouncing on the balls of her feet before heading to the corner.

As she rested her back against the corner post Ember pondered what her opponent was going to be like, what kind of person she was and what kind of fight she was going to put up. Going into the match Ember only knew her name: Samanta Veronese...

Samanta didn t start her entry to LaW in the best way, she has fought in other federations and arenas almost everywhere, but being introduced to a new spotlight by losing isn t the best expectation, but she doesn t mind, winning or losing is part of the job and she knows that, even since her opponent was a former champion! nothing to complain about at all, in the end she also managed to have a rematch, managing to win that time against the same opponent. She had other matches as well during this period of time, managing to win them all including a tag team match, not bad for someone who's been around for more or less two months.

Samanta's attire

Samanta prepares herself behind in the backstage,getting ready, mentally preparing herself before her music turns on and the lights off; suddenly the short haired girl jumps out of the stage, blue and white lights start flashing repeatedly simulating some lightnings, fireworks crackle around as Samanta starts running up through the ramp heading toward the ring, giving the crowd on her left side a high five in the way. Once she gets to the edge of the ring, the wrestler slides from the lower rope and stands inside, continuing to greet her fans by walking around the ring, standing up on a corner and waving her hands to enliven the crowd, inviting them to get louder.
Once she has made her entrance Samanta jumps down and turns, starting to bounce lightly on her soles and warming up her arms and legs slightly, looking at her opponent in the meanwhile,she never faced her and she knows nothing about her, for sure the first thing that catches the eye are her sinuous "shapes" no doubt, but mainly her height, she s quite short, for sure Samanta has to be careful of her speed, but technically that girl's strength shouldn't be a problem, since usually short fighters point a lot on strikes and fast moves...right?

"hey there cutie... well, you have a very simple outfit there, I kinda like it- I am at your care for tonight! I m not going to hold back, you re warned." She tells to her opponent with her marked foreign accent, smiling slighty with a wink while tightening her gloves around her wrists.

Ember was really glad she made her entrance first.

The short fighter's eyes had widened when Samanta Veronese made her grand arrival onto the LAW stage accompanied by fireworks, a lightshow and some pretty kickass entrance music. When compared to Ember's own modest entrance it certainly put her to shame! It certainly got the crowd going in a way Ember has never been able to. And Samanta's outfit....it was fantastic! Not for the first time Ember was a little embarrassed that she hadn't put as much thought into her wrestling attire as people like Samanta clearly had. It wouldn't make her fight any better but sometimes she wished she had something of her very own to wear...

Ember was snapped out of her slack jawed staring when Samanta addressed her, giving the big bottomed girl a little jump. "R-Right! Hi!" she stammered out, or old nervousness returning when she addressed the Italian. Samanta seemed like such a veteran that it made Ember feel even more like a rookie. It was a tough feeling to shake off.

When the Italian mentioned her own simple outfit Ember went red with embarrassment. "Y-Yeah, I'm not very good at sewing or I'd have made up a better one," the purple head admitted sheepishly. Samanta seemed friendly enough, not sensing any malice to her comments. She even said to Ember she wasn't going to hold back on her, which caused Ember to smile. "Well, that goes double for me! You better watch out or you'll be eating canvas in no time!"

Fixing herself into her stance Ember raised her arms defensively, ready for the bell to ring and to receive whatever Samanta threw at her!

"oh do you think it's a problem? knowing how to fight doesn't mean having fancy outfits, plus....those leggings look quite nice." Samanta adds while rolling her arms and her neck, her opponent was clearly amazed by the wrestler in blue's entry, of course nothing new, it was meant exactly to give a good show for everyone! but,here people are mainly interested in one thing,beside the fancy intros or any other stuff: the match! and who is going to take it home for the end of the night!
"don't worry, I'll eat the canvas in no time? you could repeat the same sentence in front of a mirror." the girl says with a little chuckle to warm up the match, even the opponent seems quite confident and friendly too, it will be interesting,so, why not making it more interesting tauntig Ember as she can even before the match?

"aaaaand also, you're blushing quite a lot...are the lights too hot..." She murms grinning, moving her hip on a side "...or something else?" She sends a wink toward the american once more, but as soon as the bell rings one time, the match officially starts off! for now Samanta simply keeps smiling, moving out of her corner and starts circling the ring around the other wrestler, getting in a grappling stance.

Ember's smiled when Samanta complimented her yoga pants, her face turning just a little bit more red. Ember wasn't sure what to expect from Samanta, having never heard of the woman until she had a match scheduled against her. Clearly she knew what she was doing, probably having a lot more ring experience than Ember did. Still, Ember wasn't worried. She may not have a flashy entrance or an eye catching outfit, but when it came to the wrestling, that's where she was most confident. She had already proven that a few times against some pretty seasoned wrestlers. Now she just had to do it again. Then maybe ask Samanta where she got her outfit done!

The sound of the bell echoed through the arena, and Ember tensed up as the match began, keeping her baby blues glued onto Samanta for any attacks. When the Italian started circling Ember started to circle with her, both wrestlers eyeing each other up for any kind of weaknesses. Then Sanata had to go and mention Ember's eatlier blush, which of course made the smaller girl blush even more! "S-Shut up," Ember mumbled. "It's just....I don't.....you talk too much!"

Flustered by Samanta's comments Ember would wait no longer and charge right at the taller woman. Ember would move in to grapple up with Samanta in a simple elbow and collar tie up, her small but muscle packed body pressing up against that of her opponent's in a battle for dominance.

"oh you're right,I talk too much." Samanta had managed to trigger her opponent a little, very well! Ember seems slightly embarrassed by the comment and after all, she is also right, Samanta talks too much.
The girl suddenly sees her American opponent charging in, making the first move of the match, engaging and forcing Samanta into a lock up; after grabbing the back of Ember's head and her arm, she starting to push looking deeply in her eyes in a challenging way. But something is wrong, blinking a bit Samanta feels her body struggling harder than it should, which is weird, It feels like she is engaging in a tie up an opponent of her same height or even a few inches taller, murming out with her eyes still engaging Ember's "nghh... t-that's a surprise..."
Ember's strength is quite impressive and it was an unexpected surprise,it is going to be an interesting challenge Indeed, yet for now Samanta is forced to take two steps back already, but she doesn't give up, after calibrating the strength of the other wrestler, she plants her soles on the mat, and starts pushing back even more tightening her teeth, but then suddenly he get an idea.
Suddenly Samanta releases her strength, stopping pushing, her plan is to destabilize Ember, take advantage of the moment by grabbing her arm, and hip throwing her down, eventually even keeping her arm locked if she would manage to actually get her with this tactic.

Ember wasn't about to let some showboat wrestler get into her head, no matter how cool she thought she looked. Once again Ember was here to prove to Samanta and everyone else in the arena that she could compete with anyone they put in front of her. Today that was Samanta, and even though the girl seemed friendly enough, Ember had promised not to go easy on her, just as the Italian had promised her. So without fear the little fighter moved in and locked up with her taller opponent, and soon both of them were pushing against the other in a contest of strength. Ember's blue eyes would glare into Samanta's green ones as they pressed together closely.

Ember grinned when Samanta came to a surprising revelation that the purple haired girl was harder to move than she looked! Ember's small form was packed tight with muscle, making her a firm and stout opponent. Moving her would be like trying to move a tree stump. "Ghgh....it's not that surprising," Ember said through a grunt. "I told you I wasn't...ghg...holding back!" When Samanta dug in and really started to push Ember would do the same, not willing to give into this woman just yet!

It would turn out the decision would be made for her when Samanta suddenly stopped pushing. So abruptly that Ember was sent stumbling with a surprised yelp. That gave her short-haired foe the momentum she needed to hip toss Ember hard to the mat. "UGGH!!" she grunted, her back impacting the mat hard. The sudden slam stunned her, leaving her open for whatever else Samanta tried next.

Samanta had been surprised by the strength that her opponent is showing already in these first moments of their fight, but for now it's nothing that she hasn t seen already, even if, for sure, her strength is above average for a person with her size, but since she is now in a lock up, why she wouldn t use this force against her?

And in fact, Samanta manages to send her opponent down on the mat with a sudden hip throw. The counter-attack / perry succeeded as planned, the sudden release got her confused, and using the girl with the purple hair's moment of slight stun, Samanta holds her arm, staying behind her and using the other free by moving it around Ember's neck and block in under her armpit, imprisoning her in a dragon sleeper sitting on the carpet, the audience starts roaring for that action at the early stage of the match, while the ref approaches to check the submission hold that Samanta is using.

Being quite a bit lighter than her blue clad opponent it was annoyingly easy for Samanta to hip toss Ember through the air before she crashed in a heap to the mat. The impact rattled Ember, leaving her unable to stop Samanta from capitalizing on her vulnerable state. She felt her arm get seized and after that her purple head was wrapped under the armpit of the feisty Italian, trapping her in a dragon sleeper submission hold!

"Ack!" Ember gasped breathlessly as soon as the choke came down on her neck. Immediately she found it harder to breath, her face going a little red because of it. Her short legs swept the canvas as she struggled to escape. Since Samanta had already seized one of her arms, it left her with only one to try and pry at the arm choking her. Ember tugged and pulled but it would do not good; Samanta had her locked in tight.

When the ref came in she asked Ember if she wanted to submit. "N-No!" Ember spat out in response. There was no way she was going to submit when the match had only just started! At the moment, all she could do was endure this choke and come up with a plan.

Samanta had put Ember exactly where she wanted, the match started well enough for her, but obviously, she has to make sure to continue in this way, because letting her guard down would be a huge mistake, Samanta has more or less understood the strength of her opponent, but obviously a lock up is NOT enough to realize its actual danger.

When the referee approaches to check both of them, Ember struggles constantly, refusing to tap out, but obviously it was quite expected, no fighter would give up so soon, in fact Samanta is just trying to weakening the other girl's stamina, and frankly, she doesn't mind some close contact with a cute girl! especially if her struggle is quite hard to keep in control.

Samanta simply tries to keep Ember in place, holding her neck and eventually bringing forward her legs, wrapping her thighs around the violet haired girl and let her stretch with her back on Samanta's front* "you can consider taking a nap, I m quite soft-" Samanta adds smiling a bit, teasing up her opponent*
