Ashley Lucas vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines

Alaina had a bit of a break in her matches so when she got the call tonight to face an energetic opponent in Ashley Lucas. Alaina was going to go all out and really test out the young wrestler.

As her music played she came out to a roaring crowd as she strut out in her one piece tiger print swimsuit happy to saunter to the ring g while striking a few poses. After high fiving fans she was all smiles as she climbed up onto the apron, then through the ropes. Alaina held her arms out as she basked in the cheers of the fans before settling into her corner eager for action!

Ashley Lucas was feeling some pre-match jitters tonight as she waited backstage. This was not the first time the blonde had felt nervous before a match, wrestling is a violent competition after all, but this was easily the most nervous she had felt for a match since her LAW debut. Ashley's last opponent had been a rookie who was just making their debut and looking to make a good first impression. But her opponent for tonight was the complete opposite, a woman who had not only been at LAW for longer than Ashley but was also a veteran of the sport who had been wearing gold back when Ashley was still wearing diapers.

Alaina. Freaking. Sanders.

Ashley couldn't believe her luck. First she just happened to befriend a relative of Aurora Lund who was willing to set up a meeting, and then she was scheduled to face THE Alaina Sanders soon after. The wrestling fangirl was extremely excited, it wasn't every day you got to compete against someone you literally own merchandise for, but at the same time she was afraid. What if she made a fool of herself? What if Alaina just completely steamrolled her? Ashley couldn't let that happen, no matter how much she idolised Alaina. She was gonna win, and prove what she was worth!

With those thoughts giving her courage Ashley would march out from the Gorilla Position, met with enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, she wasn't as popular as Alaina but her entrance was still given an extremely positive response. When she made it to the top of the ramp she would strike her signature pose with her hand pointing to the sky and her legs spread, holding the pose for a few seconds before making her way down to the ring.

Ashley would climb in through the ropes and walk to her corner. From here she would get her first good look at Alaina, and it was a breath-taking sight. The woman radiated strength from head to toe, and from this close Ashley was able to see how powerful and well built her body was in a way she just couldn't truly appreciate through photos and videos. Not only that but she was beautiful, she had a warmth to her that made Ashley think of her own mother. After a while Ashley realised she had been staring ever since she'd entered the ring, so she quickly turned her head to the side, trying to fake an aura of aloofness that was fooling nobody.

Realising that she was falling back into a mistake she'd been making earlier Ashley would swallow her fears and re-establish eye contact with Alaina, though this time she would start walking towards her with purpose. Assuming Alaina didn't try and stop her from getting close Ashley would approach her and give her a bashful smile "H-hi..." Ashley blinked, realising that she was going about this the wrong way. The blonde would clear her throat and start again "Hi! I'm Ashley! I-I'm a huge fan!" she would finally confess, cheeks glowing red from embarrassment. She would then shoot her hand out, offering a handshake "L-let's have a good match, alright?"

Alaina watched Ashley make her entrance and the woman certainly seemed like a youthful, energetic wrestler. Alaina had faced quite a few of these before, but she was not about to take anyone lightly. As Ashley entered the ring and spoke Alaina smiled to her and shook her hand. "It is nice to meet you and I am sure we will have a great match today! I am going to do my best once that bell rings so be ready!" Alaina said with a smile. She backed off and tugged on the ropes as the bell rang, circling Ashley a bit before trying to run in and grapple with her!

Alaina as trying to get hold of Ashley and drive her back into the corner with some force, hoping to crush her back against the turnbuckle to kick things off on a positive note for the amazon.

When Alaina returned Ashley's handshake the blonde's face lit up with a beaming smile, it was obvious just from a glance that this simple exchange had made the blonde very happy. When Alaina told her to be ready for her best Ashley would nod enthusiastically and grin "You better believe I will!" she'd declare, before returning to her own corner. Ashley would do some last minute stretches, on the outside it would look like the girl was pretty calm and collected as she prepared for the match, but in reality she was freaking out about how she'd just shaken hands with Alaina.

That being said when the bell did ring Ashley would get serious, her focus was now only on two things: Alaina, and what her next move was going to be. Ashley would slowly approach Alaina with her arms raised, she could tell that the amazon was looking to grapple and she was more than happy to oblige. Ashley didn't really expect to be able to out-grapple the much larger woman, instead she had planned to allow Alaina to grab her so that she could throw a knee at the woman's stomach. That plan fell apart almost immediately though, as Alaina pushed Ashley back with far more force than the blonde had been anticipating, before Ashley could get a chance to attack the amazon she was instead forced back.

Before the blonde could blink she felt her back being bashed against the corner post, grunting as she tried to push back against Alaina. Ashley had found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place, trapped in the corner with no way out except to force her way past Alaina. Alaina definitely had the advantage right now, the question was just what she planned to do with it.

Alaina had the smaller woman trapped and she kept hold of Ashley to ensure she stayed in place. It was the amazon now who intended to smash her knee hard into the abdomen of her opponent with as much force as she could muster!

From there Alaina wanted to atepnback and bend down, scooping Ashley up and slamming her down into the corner turnbuckle! The amazon knew establishing herself early would help her and possibly give her a mental edge against a woman who seemed a bit star struck.

As Ashley was trapped in the corner by Alaina she would try and figure out a way to escape, but such a thing would take time, time that Alaina clearly didn't plan on giving Ashley as she nailed the blonde right in the abs with a knee strike "Guoooh!!!" The Amazon had clearly put as much force as she could into the blow, Ashley was left feeling like she had been impaled with a spear as she hunched over clutching her stomach in pain. Ashley had known of course that she was the physically weaker one between the two of them, a simple glance from a casual observer would be able to tell you that much, but Alaina had taught her just how much of a gap there was with that attack.

Before Ashley was even halfway ready to keep fighting after taking that knee Alaina would scoop her up and prepare to slam her back against the turnbuckle. Ashley knew that if Alaina pulled this off she'd get a massive early lead, and with this much of a gap in power an early lead like that would likely end up with Alaina earning an easy victory over the blonde. Even though Ashley idolised Alaina, or probably because she idolised her, she refused to allow the Amazon to squash her! With this in mind Ashley would raise her arm above Alaina's head and attempt to send her elbow crashing down on top of Alaina's skull.

If Ashley was successful this would hopefully stun Alaina long enough for the blonde to hook the Amazon's head under her armpit. If Ashley was able to do this then she would throw her body back in hopes of sending Alaina's skull crashing into the very turnbuckle she was hoping to slam Ashley against with a DDT.

Alaina heft Ashley into the air and held her moving forward as the elbow hit her right in the eye! "Ungh!" Alaina groaned as the amazon wobbled still holding Ashley up but more loosely. Alaina felt Ashley then fall and grab her head smashing the amazons skull off the turnbuckle! "ARGH!" Alaina bellowed as she hobbled backward on limp legs towards the center of the ring! Her arms cradled her head and she was clearly dazed on her feet as her limp stomps made the little soft mass on her thighs and backside shake with each step.

Ashley's counter worked like a charm, stunning Alaina with an elbow strike and leaving her vulnerable long enough to lean back and smash Alaina's head into the turnbuckle. This caused Alaina to release Ashley and stumble back, leaving the blonde in a position to easily get to the top of the turnbuckle. Ashley would waste no time in jumping off the turnbuckle, wanting to strike while Alaina was still off balance from heaving her head smashed, extending her legs in mid-air in an attempt to smash them against Alaina's chest with a devastating dropkick. If her dropkick hit then it would hopefully knock Alaina down, getting an early lead against someone like Alaina would be huge!

Alaina didn't see the dropkick coming, meaning that the big powerhouse amazon had no way to brace for it. Alaina groaned and fell down on her back, rubbing her chest as she kicked the mat before sitting back up.

"Ugh...." Alaina kept running her chest with one arm, using her other one to brace herself as she sat up, intent to get her eyes on Ashley so she wasn't taken by surprise again.

With a meaty smack Ashley's boots would crash against Alaina's chest, sending the Amazon down onto the mat back-first. She wasn't down for long though, soon pulling herself up into a sitting position. As great as it felt to knock down Alaina Ashley couldn't let herself be satisfied with just that small victory, she had to keep up the pressure. After all, while it may not be honourable the easiest way to win was to beat your opponent down without giving them a chance to fight back, which was exactly what she intended to do to Alaina. With that in mind Ashley would dash forward and throw a knee at Alaina's face, hoping to stun the woman and leave her dazed.
