Cali stepped through the curtain, this time sporting a blue and white leotard with white tape on her wrists and ankles. This was one of the rare moments where Cali would be facing someone from the lightweight division as she was set to take on Yuki Nakamura. A confident smirk curled on her painted lips as she climbed into the ring and waited for her opponents, lifting her lucky flower towards her face.

Wrestling attire

Yuki took a breath. Another federation move for her was bound to happen at some point. At the very least she didn't have to move as far to come wrestle. Pay was better, but having to redo everything again was such a chore. She dug out her old MMA attire she wore back for another big Japanese promotion, cracking her neck as she paced behind the ramp.

When her music began to hit, she took off at a jog, her bare feet slapping against the ramp as she surveyed the crowd. New faces....new start. Time to secure a win and get em talking about Yuki Nakamura. If she had to knock this girl's jaw off, then sadly it's what she would have to do. She measured her approach to the ring, taking her time and throwing a few shadow punches into the air. Hopping onto the apron she ducked under the middle rope, already showing the height and weight difference between the two, yet she stood her ground and showed the fire in her blue eyes.

Cali watched as the newcomer jogged towards the ramp, noticing the lithe figure of the fighter as she entered the ring.

"Oh I like the fire in your eyes." Cali commented with a small smirk, handing off her flowers and jacket towards the ring attendant. "I can imagine you are looking to make a grand start after your previous run in other leagues right?"

At the mention of her....less than stellar past, Yuki's eyebrow twitched in annoyance. So it appeared that Cali liked to do her homework and read up on her opponents. No wonder she would comment on her terrible jobber runs in other companies. Crossing her arms, she leaned forward, "Most people who say that end up nursing a sore jaw."

The ref slowly made her way between the pair, looking to separate them so as not to cause any pre match brawl. Yuki fought the pressure, but took a small step back so as not to incite some penalty or disqualification.

Cali's smirk turned into a smile as Yuki stepped towards her. "I took my jobs as a learning experience and I debuted with a win. I wonder if you learned your lessons?" The referee stood in between the two women, Cali obliging as she stepped backwards. Once the ref called for the bell, Cali raised her arms as she looked to tangle with Yuki.

Yuki saw the larger woman's game here. She wanted Yuki to lose it and barrage her with hits. The MMA fighter was smarter than that. In a test of strength she had no chance. She could probably suplex this woman...once? That's if the situation was picture perfect. Strikes were the way to win here. When the bell sounded, Yuki kept herself mobile, darting in and around her with a rapid series of punches to the torso, along with some kicks to the thigh to throw her off balance.

Cali expected the smaller woman to try and out run her and Yuki did just that. Quick jabs landed in her abdomen and rather stiff kicks slammed against her thick thighs. Unfortunately for Yuki, Cali was also a fan of throwing strikes -- Cali obliging with a front kick that looked to slam against Yuki's stomach.

Yuki had managed to pepper Cali with enough strikes to phase her. Not much damage was done from what she could see, but at least she felt like she was making a bit of progress. A little bit more then she could-

WHAM!

A huge bare foot slammed into her midriff, sending the girl rolling to the ropes with wide eyes and empty lungs. Hanging an arm over the middle rope, she coughed slightly, pulling herself up to her feet with a growl.

Cali walked over to Yuki, looking to wrap the younger girl's arms over the ropes. If successful, Cali would then chop Yuki's chest with an open palm

Yuki was quite keen to take a moment and regain her ability to breathe, but Cali had other ideas. Dragging the snowdrop to her feet, Yuki felt her arms being wrapped around the top rope. She began to panic, kicking her legs and yanking her bound limbs in a desperate attempt to free herself. Just as her arm managed to slip a little bit, the chop landed square across her chest.

Yuki cried out in pain, blue eyes wide as her chest seared from the sting on that chop.
