Hayleigh Hisashi vs. Yuki Kazikura

Unread post by DizzyKnight »

Tonight hadn't been the most eventful LAW show of all time, the schedule was mostly packed with lesser-known wrestlers and rookies, with only a handful of big names scattered here and there. A few had noticed that, rather strangely, there were only lightweight fights taking place. Quite odd given the organisation didn't hold it's smaller fighters in particularly high regard.

One of the more talked-about fights on the night's sheet featured a familiar name on an unfamiliar face, with the world-famous Asuka Hisashi's older sister Hayleigh making her LAW debut against relative newcomer Yuki Kazikura, a matchup that had managed to generate a fair bit of excitement with Hayleigh having already proven herself a decent wrestler in other promotions, and Yuki having demonstrated solid strategic skill.

Backstage, Hayleigh was just putting the finishing touches on her attire. She had done away with her traditional attire, which wasn't so exciting anyway, and had her sister design her something new and more interesting to look at. Mimicking her more famous sibling's own style, Hayleigh wore blue and yellow, though darker and more vibrant shades. Her new attire was made up of deep blue leotard, yellow knee & elbow pads, deep blue knee-high boots, and a set of white thigh-high socks.

Doing a few twirls in front of the mirror, Hayleigh was finally satisfied with how she looked, each piece having been measured half a dozen times to ensure that it fit to her small figure snug and tight. She didn't have long to admire herself though, as she could hear the announcer beginning to read out her stats over the booming arena loudspeakers, prompting the silver-haired wrestler to quickly make her way up to the ramp.

She was very used to entrances by now, having wrestled for a few years already. However, it was still something very different to appear in front of tens of thousands of people compared to a few hundred. Her name was announced, her music hit, the crowd began to cheer, and Hayleigh shook off her nerves and jogged out into the arena, down the ramp, and into the ring under the bottom rope rather plainly.

Hayleigh let her momentum carry her across the ring, bounced off the far side ropes, and then came to a stop in the center of the ring, smiling and waving to the mass of screaming fans, most of which were her sister's fans, and hadn't actually ever seen her wrestle before. Regardless, it felt encouraging, and she stood with her hands on her hips to wait for her opponent.

When the card had been announced for the night, even Yuki, as quiet a person as she normally was, had difficulty containing her excitement. A show dedicated to showcasing LAW's lesser-exposed talent, particularly in the lower weight class? It was perfect! As much as she had trained, as much as she had been ready to break into whole new grounds after her time in smaller joshi puroresu circuits, she found that it was frustratingly difficult to get scheduled, and week after week she found herself disappointed when the schedule came in. No one had much interest in seeing someone most of the audience barely knew wrestle, and her small and dainty build wasn't exactly what most people thought of when imagining a pro wrestler, even a female one. If she had to fall back on working a grocery store checkout to pay the bills, she didn't know what she would do.

But this changed everything. She was ready to get out there and make herself known. They had even put her on one of the later matches of the night, too - where the most anticipated bouts were scheduled. This was big news for her, and she knew she had to put on her best performance and give it her all. All eyes would be on her, and this was her chance to prove that she had it, that she was just as worthy of their attention as anyone. Her opponent was a name that sounded vaguely familiar for sure - Hisashi? Any relation to Asuka, she thought? In the context of wrestling, that was a name that definitely had its connotations, though this particular Hisashi wasn't someone she was as familiar with, even if it did ring a bell.

Nevertheless, Yuki knew, she couldn't let herself be intimidated when this much was on the line! She took in a breath, clenching her fists as she held them in front of her to practice her stance. She had on her usual attire - a simple yellow leotard with an attached skirt for extra flair, along with matching boots, gloves, and pads as well as white knee-high socks. It wasn't the most flashy of outfits, but it did the job for her, and that was what mattered.

At last, the girl heard her name announced as her music hit, and it was time. She walked out onto the entrance ramp and stood ready, her steely gaze fixing on Haleigh as she saw her take her place in the ring. With a determined pace she started her way down towards the ring, before breaking into a run and launching herself under the bottom rope as she came up to the ring apron before she rolled up to her feet and sprung into a stance, narrowing her eyes to examine her would-be foe more closely.

Hayleigh's hands rested gently on her hips, and a lazy smile hung across her face as the announcer read out Yuki's name and statistics, and eventually added to the applause when the young girl in yellow made her appearance. Making a change from the usual bra & briefs or miniature shorts combo that was so incredibly common among tonight's lightweight competitors, both Hayleigh and Yuki had chosen figure-squeezing leotards for their attires, covering their flat bellies yet doing nothing to hide the shape of their stunning figures.

The arena itself was only 2/3rds full, or perhaps slightly less. Lightweight matches in general struggled to sell tickets unless a big name was attached to them, so a show of exclusively lightweights wasn't going to be the most profitable venture, especially when most didn't recognise either of the main event's competitors. However, that would be later; for now a pair of small, relative newcomers to LAW were set to go head to head!

As Yuki slipped into the ring, rolled over, and then bounced upright, Hayleigh took a step forwards to put the two girls quite close by the time Yuki was standing up straight. Taking another step to stand literally toe-to-toe with her opponent, Hayleigh reached down and took her by the hands with a soft smile on her face, "Hello! I don't think we've met."

Truth be told, Yuki was a little disappointed to take in her surroundings and see that the attendance for the night wasn't so good. If she was going to make a name for herself and break into her career, she would have hoped that it would be in front of more people. The idea that her biggest night in weeks would be so casually brushed off by so much of the audience didn't do much for her confidence. All the same, the people who were there were definitely into it, and their cheers came from the heart - maybe they recognized the competitors, or maybe they didn't, but they certainly seemed excited for the action, and to see what the new talent had to offer.

Besides, Yuki reminded herself, she wasn't going to let such a distraction keep her attention from the match at hand. She was here for a reason, and that was to prove herself - she wouldn't be doing much good with that if she was more concerned with how the audience was receiving her than what her opponent was doing. She fixed her gaze on Hayleigh - finding that she had gotten up in her face in the short time she had taken to enter, which caused her to raise an eyebrow, but she didn't say too much of it. She too stepped in closer, tensing herself to be ready to act if she needed to. She didn't know what she could expect from this girl - but she didn't seem overly hostile, which caused her to let out a short breath of relief, though she didn't let down her guard. She looked up at her as she took her hand. "Ah-?" she said. "No, we haven't. This is my first time against you. Don't go easy on me, though, all right? If I'm going to be put in a match like this, I wouldn't want to bring anything but my best to it."

On the flipside, Hayleigh was quite encouraged by the number of filled seats. Even if it wasn't close to LAW's usual deafening roar, the number of people that had showed up could easily fill some of the other arenas she'd fought in twice over. A lot of the audience that had shown up were the more obssessed LAW fanboys and fangirls, who were always delighted to see new faces in the ring, especially faces as attractive as Hayleigh and Yuki's.

There was something about her opponent that Hayleigh found quite endearing, the way she seemed nervous and on-edge in the way rookies do, and the youthful somewhat humble way she responded. And, of course, one of the main reasons she puts so much effort into keeping her weight down, the flat belly and smooth features of Yuki's body. "Oh I won't, just don't get upset when you realise what 'my best' actually is." Hayleigh responded with a giggle, dragging Yuki in for a tight, squeezing hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. It was rather interesting to notice that Yuki, despite being younger, was actually a bit larger and eeever so slightly more defined than Hayleigh (As much as a lightweight can have muscle definition, at least). Weighing a good 13 lbs more and having an extra two inches on her opponent.

The referee (A tall, slightly muscular lady in tight black short-shorts and checkerboard t-shirt) finally put her phone down, climbed into the ring, and rather forcefully pushed the two apart and back to their corners. Standing in her corner opposite the young teenager, Hayleigh set her hands on her hips and lazily swayed them from side to side, looking across into Yuki's eyes with a smile.

When the bell rang, Hayleigh moved out of her corner in a pretty standard stance, circling the outside of the ring before slowly closing distance and offering a lockup.

"Just wait until you see what I can-" Yuki began in response - but she was cut off, as it was soon revealed that Hayleigh wasn't just challenging her, and instead hugged her in tight before planting a kiss on her cheek. The girl's face briefly flushed hotly, as she went a little tense. This wasn't that common - maybe among friends and teammates before a match, but an opponent? It left her a little confused. After the initial shock of the kiss, though, Yuki let out a breath, and she relaxed a little. This meant that Hayleigh respected her, she realized, and that she saw this as a friendly competition, one where no hard feelings need be had. They were both here to make their names known in the new league, and both of them were grateful for that; that was enough. That came as a reassurance to Yuki, knowing that she didn't have to stay on guard for any cheap tactics on Hayleigh's part. In her head, she started to look back through her checklist and noted how she wouldn't have to devote quite as much mental energy on watching Hayleigh for attempts to trip her up, so she could focus on what counted.

Or maybe Hayleigh had the hots for her. That was a possibility too.

Still, the referee got in, and Hayleigh set back. As she went to her corner, Yuki returned the smile to her, starting to get to a stance as she raised her hands. However, the woman's brusque manner perturbed Yuki. Couldn't she have some respect for how two rookies were meeting on some common ground? Combined with how she was keeping her attentions on her phone earlier, it didn't bode well. Did she even care?

That was neither here nor there though, as the bell soon rang, and Hayleigh got ready, getting in a stance of her own and circling around the ring. For a while, Yuki followed her lead, pacing in the opposite direction. Her gaze was locked on Hayleigh, watching everything she did in the hopes of catching the slightest hint of a weakness she could capitalize on. Soon enough, Hayleigh started to move in carefully - but Yuki thought she would try and surprise her with a display of agility this early into the match. She ducked her head down and dashed in closer to meet her opponent for the lockup, grabbing a hold of her collar and elbow and pushing to use the momentum of her speed.

Re: Hayleigh Hisashi vs. Yuki Kazikura

The two little leotard-clad rookies started their match pretty simply, circling and watching eachother at a safe distance, before slowly closing in for a lock-up. This was an opening wrestling fans had seen hundreds upon hundreds of times, but it was still entertaining to watch a pair of rather small girls enter into a contest of strength. Or in this case, it was more a test of 'who is the least weak'.

Yuki's attempt at surprise went nicely to plan, Hayleigh not being given any time at all to brace herself before her opponent slung her body into the lockup with more force than Hisashi was prepared for, knocking her off-balance and making her stagger back a few steps. With Yuki continuing to press forwards and exploiting her newfound advantage, it was not long at all before Hisashi was forced right up against the ropes, leaning back over them so far that the two girls' bodies squeezed together under Yuki's momentum.

However the referee, seeing a rope break, rather rudely stepped in and hooked her strong arms under Yuki's shoulders and locked in a full nelson! She'd lift the young rookie clean off of her feet with ease, forcing her to look down at her own feet as she carried the girl to the center of the ring and held her there until Hayleigh stepped away from the ropes, the little lightweight helpless to do anything about it!

Giving her opponent a moment to orient herself, Hayleigh circled for a couple seconds, and then rushed forwards, leaping at Yuki shoulder-first to try and spear her right in the belly!

Yuki's idea was a bit of a gamble, charging into things right away, but it worked to her advantage nonetheless as Hayleigh went stumbling back against the yellow-clad girl's weight. Taking a hold of Hayleigh and locking down as closely as she could, she began to maneuver her opponent towards the ropes; even as the elder Hisashi sister tried to fight it, Yuki had caught her off her guard. Nonetheless, the younger girl's face didn't display any over elation at this, only a steady focus and a cold determination. The match was still young, and anything could happen.

As Hayleigh's footing started to give out, sending her slumping backwards, Yuki's chest fell against hers, their bodies sliding close, as Hayleigh found herself sandwiched between Yuki's stomach and the ropes. At first the shift in balance surprised Yuki, but she held to it nonetheless, soon finding her balance. What did surprise her, though, was the ref grabbing a hold of her and scooping her up from behind! A simple call for a rope break would've sufficed, but this woman wasn't messing around. Caught by surprise, Yuki's hands slipped away from Hayleigh as she was carried back over to the center of the ring. "Hey, whoah-!" she said. She struggled out of instinct - though of course it wouldn't be enough - but for the most part she allowed this. It was within the rules, after all. The ref just could've been a bit more gentle with it.

Yuki took a moment to shake herself back out and get to her senses as Hayleigh resumed her pace, circling around her. She started to lower herself and raised her hands, getting ready to defend herself from attack. Sure enough, Hayleigh charged forward with her shoulder posed to strike, and Yuki tried to hold her fists out in front of her to block - but that wasn't enough for how rapidly Hayleigh was moving, and she ended up tackled onto her back! "G-Guh-!" she coughed, the pain in her abdomen still making itself known.

Success! Hayleigh's spear landed perfectly, and now the two lightweights were down on the canvas and forced to grapple with eachother, Hayleigh given the advantage as Yuki tried to catch her breath, and as she was on top of her opponent. She deliberately positioned herself to be as awkward as possible for Yuki to deal with, sitting on top of one leg to keep it pinned to the ground while draping the other around her waist to keep it behind her body, and making Yuki's little skirt flop upwards onto the rookie's belly.

Despite the match having only just started, Hayleigh gave a wink and complimented "You're good!".

With that, she'd lean forwards with a friendly, yet somewhat smug smirk on her face, and swing a slap downwards at Yuki's cheek! With some luck, she'd get it past the girl's arms without too much difficulty, and leave a painful sting on the rookie's cheek. Hayleigh, whether her attempt was blocked or not, would quickly sweep her ponytail back over her shoulder to keep it out of the way, and then lean in to try and grab hold of her opponent's elbows, hoping to press them tight to the canvas and get an early pin!

Re: Hayleigh Hisashi vs. Yuki Kazikura

As she ended up on the ground, Yuki stopped to collect herself, shaking some of the black hair out of her eyes to look back up at Hayleigh and what she was doing. Which was...sitting on her leg? That was a little strange. If this was some kind of hold, she had never seen it before. Nevertheless it did cause her some discomfort as Hayleigh pulled up on her other leg to keep it restrained, bending on her back and pointing her groin towards the ceiling as her leg was forced into an awkward position - as was Yuki herself, whose face flushed a little red. At least her skirt was attached to a one-piece leotard, so nothing too embarrassing would be exposed.

Still, Hayleigh didn't seem out to humiliate her, at least - she was still impressed by her performance, and it pleased Yuki to know that. She nodded to her, smiling a little. "Thank you," she said. But something was a little off, she had to admit. What was that look on her face for-?

And with that, her question was answered, as Hayleigh sent out a slap! Yuki tried to block it, but it landed too quickly for her to track, cracking her head to the side as she was left wincing from the impact. Even after the deed, it still stung. "Gah-!" she snapped, clenching her teeth to try and steady herself and ignore the pain. A moment later, Hayleigh leaned down on top of Yuki to try and hold her arms down above her head, going for a pin. The referee didn't quite seem all that invested, but even then, Yuki wasn't going to let Hayleigh's efforts work this early in the match - the last thing she needed was for anyone, herself included, to think she was weak enough to lose to that. Luckily, as Hayleigh came in closer to her, it balanced the weight she had put on Yuki's legs, and she would find that these were afforded more freedom of movement, as she tried to kick up off the ground with the leg Hayleigh was sitting on to shake the pin loose.
