A Yakuza Meets her Match - Naomi Watanabe vs Rose Gold

A girl with bright green hair and wearing a mask sat inside the backstage of the arena, a girl with short neon green hair was preparing herself for what was probably going to be a very difficult challenge. She wanted to see her limits and test herself against one of the strongest wrestlers in the league. While she was used to fighting others, she had never fought someone of this caliber, especially after hearing about the girl's massive win streak. The girl's hand was shaking a little but she didn't know if she was excited for this fight or fearful of the beatdown she might receive from her opponent. She tightened up her glove on her hand and looked down at it for a few seconds before steeling her senses and clenching her hand into a fist. Win or lose, she will be better by the end of it.

"Naomi Watanabe, its time for your entrance."

One of the staff members peered out from around the corner and said.

"Coming." Naomi replied, standing up and ran towards the entrance of the stage to make her appearance for the second time.

Her theme music started as Naomi walked onto the stage, waving to her fans while walking calmly over to the apron of the ring and rolling underneath the ropes. She wasn't much to appealing to the fans and stopped her entrance a little short because she was so focused on who her opponent was going to be.

The sudden pounding of music brought with it lights that flared in time with the beat. The song was instantly recognizable. Music that had become synonymous with the League's Self-proclaimed Ace! Every pump of bass brought on another flicker of gold stage lighting. And with it another brief vision of the Venomous Vixen herself!

And when the beat dropped, the gold-toned lights flared fully to life! Gold confetti rained ceremoniously down from the ceiling. It refracted the light in a dazzling display of gaudy gold. And at the top of the stage stood the Lightweight Champion!

Rose Gold once again stood at the top of the ramp radiant against the dark backdrop and flickering golden lights. Her trademark golden hair was tipped with brilliant pink. Her lips were painted as black as her intentions, highlighting her alabaster skin and the soft blush upon her cheeks. Her eyes were swept with black liner, angular and sharp. It made her honey-gold orbs glitter, 24kt.

A spade-shaped hairband made of her namesake, rose gold, pulled her hair back and exposed her face. Her attire was more complex. Sleeves and Leggings were both speckled with shiny rose gold highlights. A collared top with a window that exposed the valley between her firm, perky breasts. Like her hairclip, this too was cut to the shape of a spade, though this one was inverted. Both were symbolic of her status as Ace.

The cacophonous cries of the fans mixed cheers and boos accompanied the Sinister Siren as moved towards the night's arena. She strode toward the ring with all of the regal majesty of the empress she believed herself to be. Tonight's match was meant to be a tune-up fight for her upcoming bout with the winner of the Lightweight Classic, Morgan Frey. And as Rose Gold entered the ring she gave her opponent all the respect she thought an easy win deserved. None.

"What's the matter honey, you look like you've seen a ghost." Her tone dripped with self-satisfied arrogance as she stood across the ring from her opponent. Naomi Watanabe was far from a household name. And for Rose Gold, relatively unheard of typically meant one thing. Prey.

When her opponent's theme had started, Naomi was practically blinded by the golden light that shone from the entrance, being forced to flinch and wince while raising one arm up to cover her eyes. Rose Gold's entrance was much flashier than hers. She didn't entirely understand the point of a flashy entrance when its results that decide the victor of the match which is why her entrance was usually more minimalistic.

Once the gold light dimmed, she lowered her arm and watched her opponent walk towards the ring, narrowing her eyes at her while placing her hands on her hips casually. Her free hand was still shaking a little bit but this time, Naomi did not know why exactly.

Even before Rose Gold opened her mouth, Naomi could see how little she was respected in this match. The bad tone was already settled and to make things worse, Rose Gold took notice of her hand and commented on it.

"Its nothing." The Yakuza curtly replied, clenching her previously shaking hand into a fist to stop it from shaking. She was doing her utmost when it came to keeping her emotions as hidden as humanly possible. But when you're up against an Ace, even as someone as calm and collected as Naomi had trouble containing herself. "Good luck" she would add while waiting for the bell to ring.

When it did, she would be the one to make the first move and burst forwards as fast as she could and attempt to throw out a basic roundhouse kick to test how experienced her opponent was when it came to her ability to stop attacks.

"Nothing?" She mused as she looked over the young woman. "It certainly is." Her lips twitched in a laugh that was held back. A less than sly jab. Rose Gold never really had been about subtlety though, had she?

The woman was dressed from head to toe in a guise that made her somewhat reminiscent of a ninja. Or at least a romanticized version of one. Rose Gold doubted a woman presenting herself as such was much of a powerhouse. She was likely a speed and technical type, not unlike herself. Styles make fights. So how would this newcomer with a style, by Rose Gold's estimation, like her own; influence the fight? Surely, she would simply find herself pulled under the waves of the league's strongest woman.

The bell rang. Rose Gold notably not having returned Naomi's good luck. Luck was for the desperate and the skill-less, after all. Immediately Naomi sprung into action! One of her legs shot up in a roundhouse kick! Rose Gold's body bent itself backward at the waist to dodge it. But she found herself shocked that at the last second, she had to take a step back as well! She was fast!

The step backward put her off balance, leaving her unable to counterattack and freeing her up to continue her rush!

Naomi narrowed her eyes at her opponent who had dodged the kick as she had expected. But it was in a way that left Rose open to a follow-up attack. Not something she would expect from a champion fighter. Perhaps their gap in ability wasn’t that far off? The street fighter would lower her foot and continue her momentum to spin a full one-eighty so she could return to neutral stance as fast as possible before she would continue her rush.

Her next plan of attack involved grabbing onto her opponent’s arm and pulling Rose Gold back in and positioning herself to perform a tight abdominal stretch! If she were successful she would add to the pain by using her elbow to dig into the nape of her opponent’s neck painfully and adding to the pain of the original submission hold. She needed to incapacitate Rose as fast as possible because she knew that once she gave Rose an inch of leniency, the lightweight champion would end up taking a mile.

With her balance off it was easy for Naomi to follow up! She managed to regain her balance after a single stumble. But that window allowed for Naomi to quickly take hold of her arm and pull her back to belly for an abdominal stretch! The Lightweight champion was bent at the hip, the submission pulling at the muscles in her waist. And rather than using her palms to press down on Rose Gold's neck, she used the point of her elbow!

"Ngah!" The sudden jabbing pain caused her to cry out. Once. She managed to bite back the rest of her agony, hiding it behind a mask of frustrated agony! Her teeth grit and her eyes narrowed. She couldn't see Naomi, so she fixated her hate on the referee. So much so that the official didn't even bother asking if she wanted to submit. Smart woman.

For now, Naomi had her in her clutches. Their bodies pressed against one another. Rose Gold could feel the point of the other woman's hip bones digging into her round backside. Naomi had earned her advantage with her aggression. So Rose Gold would bare it. Her paw was caught in a trap... But the moment Naomi neared her jaws, she would still attempt to bite out her throat!

With her opponent firmly within her hold, Naomi knew her opponent wouldn't be in there for long. She needed to change positions to keep Rose on her toes and overwhelm her. So hopefully before Rose could get too comfortable. "I'm not done yet." she would say while she would remove her legs from Rose and try to put one of her hands near Rose's thigh so she could try to pick the lightweight champion up with her legs spread. If she made it that far, she would pull Rose back down and try to slam her down tailbone first onto her knee.

Normally, she wouldn't try this hard against an opponent. But it was because this woman had such a reputation that she felt like her best strategy was to overwhelm her and never let her get advantage. To say that she was focused on Rose and only Rose was an understatement. She could accidentally punch the referee and not even notice.

Rose had grappled with many a wrestler who thought they could practice something one time in the gym and use it on her. Naomi was not one of those women. Her hold was technically sound. The longer she waited for her to slip up, to shift momentum in the wrong direction, the longer the hold stayed cinched in!

And worse, the woman seemed to notice her biding her time! Rose had been waiting for a small shift! But instead of something minor, Naomi transitioned fully into another maneuver! She drew the Lightweight Champion skyward, grasping her beneath her thighs and spreading her legs wide! "W-what!?" She let out a cry of surprise as the audience was treated to just how sharply cut the crotch of her attire was, and how tightly it clung to her proud, plump sex!

*CRACK!*

Rose Gold was brought down, tailbone first with an atomic drop! Naomi's knee sent a surge of pain up the tiny blonde's spine! "IYAAAH~" She cried out as she bounced off the other woman's knee! She landed off-balance, upon her heels! Her back arched backward as her hands instinctively grasped at her backside in an attempt to massage away the pain! She stumbled forward, her back still to her opponent and her head clouded with pain!

With a loud "CRACK" Naomi was able to continue her offensive against the lightweight champion by slamming the woman's tailbone against her knee! Although despite all this, Rose did not seem anywhere near close to being pinnable nor close to giving up. Of course, Naomi had her limits in terms of how many moves she could do in succession and a part of her knew that she couldn't keep up this constant offensive for much longer l.

She needed to think of another way to keep her opponent on her toes that didn't involve her running on fumes. But she didn't have enough time to think of one. The longer she thought about it, the sooner Rose was to recovering. "Tsk." she clicked her tongue while she got back up to her standing position and began to walk over to the recovering champion.

"You really live up to your name. Most people I fought would have been out for the count by now. But you should really think about giving up" . She was starting to speak with some confidence that she could win this match. But she was also showing some fatigue because through the crowd cheering her name, Rose could hear her panting breath hit her mask. But she would attempt to grab onto the blonde's hair to run her head first into the turnbuckle to keep her dazed anyways.

Momentum carried her forward as she grasped at her tailbone! Her eyes were closed in a tight squint and her teeth were grit. She'd make her pay for this... She swore she'd make her pay!

Her eyes shot open as Naomi took hold of her hair and began to monologue. She sounded confident and in control... And it made Rose Gold seethe! It came as some relief then, that she could hear the woman's breathing through her faceplate. She'd never worn a mask, it made her wonder if having something over her mouth would reduce the amount of oxygen she could take in.

"Urasai!" She barked disdainfully as Naomi drove her forward! Rose Gold's head appeared to be on a collision course with the turnbuckle!

But suddenly her right foot shot up, planting itself on the second pad! She kicked off it, her left foot planting onto the top rope on the way! Using Naomi's momentum and the ring boundary, Rose Gold took to the air with a temple run! Her body snapped upside down in a flip! And as she made her rotation, her right knee lashed out to crack against the top of Naomi's head! A sudden reversal into one of her signature maneuvers! The Crown of Gold!
