Mary Clairson

For the bluenette wrestler known as Mary, this was the challenge she had been waiting for. Her LAW career has had it all, incredible wins, devastating losses, new friends, new enemies, she has been through it all. But for Mary, none of this would had happen if she never saw Sakura Hagiwara wrestle for the first time. Very early on, Mary had no belief in her wrestling skill, her only purpose was to be some low level jobber who makes some other girl look good while she gets pinned easily. But seeing Sakura go through all her trials and tribulations made Mary think there was hope in her as well. While she still had this overwhelming belief that she is not good enough to win a title, maybe this night could help repel those thoughts from her brain.

After a couple of years disappearance, Sakura Hagiwara showed up again in the wrestling business, this time working for League of Anime Wrestling, the same league that Mary signed to. Seeing this happen, Mary knew she had to work hard and not disappoint cause she believed that wrestling Sakura Hagiwara could defined whether she is cut for this or not.

Mary took a deep breath while she was in her locker room, stretching her limbs, limbs that were known for putting her opponents in so much pain. As much as she did not like hearing them scream and struggle, Mary knew she had to be relentless or else she would be eaten for lunch, and Sakura was gonna get no special treatment from the Bluenette clad in her signature Blue Leotard. She knew she had to be in the best shape possible, the last thing she wanted was to disappoint anyone.

Soon enough, Mary got the call that her match was starting, and she took a deep breath, before heading out.

The arena became clad in blue light, and the crowd started to cheer loudly as Mary came down to the ring, still a little shook by how much people like her. She took another deep breath and then walked down to the ring. Now having the courage to slap hands with a few fans, Mary was ready for this.

She walked up the steel steps and underneath the middle rope before heading to her corner and taking another deep breath as her music stopped.

Here she goes, the chance to prove herself.

Ever since her return to the ring Sakura knew that there were quite a lot of people eager to step into the ring with her, young and old alike, fans of hers and people that hated her alike, it was equal parts flattering and overwhelming honestly. But among those eager to challenge her there was always one that stood out to Sakura. Mary Clarison. The blue haired beauty was exceptionally kind in any interaction they had, always respectful but earnest, very similar to Sakura herself and she'd be lying if she said she didn't feel some form of kinship with the Submission wrestlers.

As such when they finally had the chance to step in the ring together Sakura was all too quick to accept the offer and make the match official. Now that Mary had come out Sakura knew it was her turn and took a soft breath to herself as she waited at the entrance ramp, bracing herself for the dream match ahead

What better place than a dream match to debut a new entrance song? After about thirty seconds of the song playing, right as the chorus hit Sakura would come out, smiling happily getting massive cheers in response as she posed for the fans. Wearing her new ring gear and standing proudly it was hard not to see why the people loved her so much and why other wrestlers wanted to get in the ring with her.

Walking down the ramp with a smile on her face Sakura would hop up onto the apron before vaulting over the top rope and into the ring. Posing a bit more while inside Sakura would then turn and look at her opponent, smiling eagerly at her as she approached the center of the ring. "Mary! Its nice to finally meet you in person! I can't wait to finally face you!" Sakura said eagerly as she held her hand out for a handshake before their match began.

Mary's face turned a deep red. Sakura was excited to face her. That came as a complete surprise to the Bluenette, who commonly held a not so high opinion of herself despite the fact that she has proven herself to be worthy of being in LAW. This was her big moment, to wrestle her idol. She knew she could not disappoint Sakura after she complimented her like that.

So Mary took the handshake and shook Sakura's hand. Mary said with a smile "I'll be sure to not disappoint you Miss Hagiwara." before disengaging and heading to her corner. She was prepared for the wrestling match of her life.

When the bell rings, she will head to the center of the ring and motion for a Collar and Elbow Tie Up with Sakura, hoping her idol would agree to it.

Sakura knee that Mary looked up to her, even if Sakura feel she didn't deserve that adoration, but it meant the world to her regardless and she wouldn't be looking to squander it in any way, shape or form. Hence why this match felt like such a big deal to both women. For Mary it was a chance to go against her hero, and for Sakura it was a chance to prove she deserved to be seen as one.

Shaking hands and nodding to each other Sakura would smile fondly at Mary's attempt at formality. "Please Mary, call me Sakura." The idol said with a wink towards the blue haired girl before stepping backwards and waiting as the bell rang.

Once it finally did so Sakura would step forward, hands out and knees bent, ready for whatever came first. As she approached though she saw Mary signalling for a collar elbow tie up, something that made Sakura smirk as she nodded. Approaching the Quiet Beast Sakura would reach out and grasp hands with Mary, pushing against the girl as the two fought for a early lead!

It was finally time, as Mary engaged Sakura in a technical Collar and Elbow tie up. Mary needed to know where Sakura's technical game was at compared to hers, see if she can gain the advantage of turning this into a pure wrestling match. It felt like the two were just about even in strength.

As soon as she could, Mary would set her plan in motion, attempting to break the Collar and Elbow hold, and attempting to wrap Sakura's head into a quick Side Headlock. If that managed to work, Mary would attempt to throw Sakura down to the mat with a Side Headlock Takeover.

Mary knew she could not show any weakness or mercy if she wanted to win.

Engaging with Mary close up in a collar elbow tie up out of the gate Sakura would grunt slightly as she pushed against her, refusing to give in so easily. But evidently Mary was interested in turning things technical out of the gate by capturing Sakura in a side headlock. 'She definitely didn't waste any time.' Sakura thought to herself, having studied Mary's matched ahead of time and knowing that the girl was a technical beast.

But thats exactly why Sakura had prepared for such a battle. As she was thrown down to the mat Sakura would grunt but immediately dig her chin in Mary's elbow before prying it away from her face, attempting to slide out from under the Quiet Beast.

Then if successful Sakura would place her hands on Mary's back before pushing down, aiming to cartwheel over her! Should this work it would make for a smooth transition into a standing, and then running position as Sakura took off for the ropes, aiming to rebound off them and back towards Mary, looking to get a dropkick on the girl! A standard one if Mary had started to get up already, or a baseball slide version if she was still laying on the mat.

Mary had Sakura locked tight in a Side Headlock, or so she thought. Mary should had seen it coming, but she was still surprised when Sakura managed to find a way out of the Side Headlock. And before she could attempt to grapple Sakura again, she did something unexpected again.

Mary completely lost where Sakura was after she cartwheeled over her, and she was stunned for a bit. She felt as though this made the difference in experience between the two clear.

And when she finally spotted Sakura, Mary was met with a dropkick to the face, knocking the bluenette down to the canvas below, holding her head.

Mary knew she made a mistake, and she paid for it hard.

Executing some well timed gymnastic moves to escape Mary's hold Sakura would manage to show the difference in skill and experience between the two. Now after landing a drop kick on the woman Sakura would sit up, smirking at the downed Mary's body.

'Let keep this going.' Sakura thought to herself sitting up and grabbing Mary's legs by the ankles. "You like submissions right Mary?" Sakura asked rhetorically in a teasing tone as she crossed the limbs over her own before leaning back, aiming to fully lock in a figure four leg lock on the blue haired girl!

Mary was left completely docile after having her head knocked in with the Dropkick, it was something that definitely knocked the bluenette for a loop. Now left on her back, Mary could only watch as Sakura grabbed her legs.

And tied them up for a Figure Four Leglock. "AAAGH!" Mary groaned as she felt the surge of pain in her legs. And due to her having a history of leg issues stemming from an earlier match with Alizeh, it hurt even more.

Mary had to quickly turn this around. so she attempted to turn her whole body onto her stomach in a move to reverse the pain that was coming from the Figure Four Leglock. Luckily Mary does know her way out of most submissions.

Sakura knew that Mary had a issue with damage to her legs via submissions from her previous matches, and while Sakura wasn't a fan of targeting such a weakness it wasn't considered heelish to attempt. Besides considering Mary's own strengths on the mat in only made sense to weaken those limbs while she could.

Luckily she was making good progress, especially going off of Mary's cries of pains from the figure four hold being in full effect. Smirking as she jerked and twisted the limbs Sakura's eyes would soon widen when she felt Mary turning them on their sides! 'Oh no!' Sakura thought realizing too late what was happening!

"GAH!" Yelling in pain as the hold was reversed Sakura would bite her lips and immediately undo the hold, letting their legs untangle. But Sakura still had a chance, Mary would have been hurting a lot longer and thus giving Sakura the opportunity to keep things in her favor.. and as much as she hated to use it she had just the hold to do so.

Knowing Mary was still gonna be on her stomach from reversing the hold Sakura would push herself up with her arms before pushing herself backwards in order to land but first on Mary's back. If it worked than Sakura would grab Mary's legs, pulling them under her arms and leaning back, trying to lock in a boston crab!
