Annie was busy doing her standard one handed push ups before a match, because she learned that tonight she will be wrestling a heavyweight for the first time, something Annie has been waiting to do ever since she joined LAW. Her lifting and slamming a heavyweight, despite her short but decently muscular structure, was what made LAW take a look at her. And she has been grateful for every opportunity since. Annie is someone who came from nothing, and she will show her heavyweight opponent how strong and tough she can be with a smile on her face.

Soon enough, Annie got the notification from the LAW official that her match was about to begin. And soon enough, she made her way to Guerilla Position, waiting for her music to start.

And Annie bursted out onto the stage, orange light flooded the arena as Annie was waving to the LAW crowd with her hands high in the air as the crowd gave her a small ovation. She would then proceed to run down the stage and slide underneath the bottom rope, before running to the nearest turnbuckle, climbing to the second rope, and waving to the crowd.

The music stopped, and the lighting turned back to normal, as Annie waited for her opponent to appear, doing some stretches while she was at it. Gotta keep her body limber for her massive test about to come.

Darkness swallowed the heralding orange rays as though the power, no, the soul of the wrestling arena was being sucked away, leaving only phone camera flashes and an emerging red fog that spilled from the stage floor. It rapidly built into a plume, a mushroom cloud that was burbling, overflowing and spilling across the stage as a hole, over the edges and down the ramp. Crackling embers sounded from the mysterious veil. Then - the Reinhardt’s theme began.

A choir’s voice rhythmed as though they were beckoning a demon. The fog continued rising, the darkness tuning into a scarlet shade. One woman’s silhouette emerged as the fog blew - a demon who sat upon a golden throne, red leather seats and tall spires, her head visible in short spells as the fog parted, the glistening scarlet-red mane, hellish eye that looked like a pool of blood, focused and sharpened into a focused current. She sat composed, one leg crossed, holding a golden skull in one hand, her other hand’s fingers tapping away at the chair’s arm.

She stood while the surroundings were still thick, but the sight of those thigh-high black, gold and red lace-up boots were now visible, parted shoulder-width. A long, high-collar cape draped around her, a chain and skull over her chest. Alas, a leotard of the finest material.

“AHAHAHAHAHA.” Piercing laughter erupted from the silhouette, her hands folded up, fingers curled and she took the first step, swiping down on her arms that parted the fog, unveiling her full appearance. Torches in the corners where the stage and rampway met raged two tall spires of fire for a few seconds before dying out on the Reinhardt’s second step. The woman’s stride beckoned nothing short but a chilled silence. Every step was deliberate, parting her own fog underneath the boot. Her head was held high as she reached the steps, huffing out red smoke from the corners of her mouth and nose. As she walked the apron, one claw gripped the top and she leaned far back, then whipped herself over, going into a front flip and stomping down inside the ring, postured on one knee. Her cape swallowed her form, and she peered down before her head slowly rose to grant her first intent stare at Annie. She gripped the chain of her cape, undoing it so it slid off, then stood up in her full gear as the lights returned to normal, and the fog was finally dissipating entirely.

"Well-well... well... This place is a swamp for the young and sprightful to waste themselves. Hahahahaha. This contest will be my lesson on the matter! Are you prepared for that, Annie Clark?"

Annie took a deep breath, she could tell that her opponent was trying to intimidate the young country girl, judging from her entrance. If you compared the two, everyone would take Karolina as the winner, and Annie knew she wanted to take Karolina down. She knew that Karolina did not think of Annie as being on the same level as her.

"Only thing I'm prepared for is powerbombing you through the mat." Annie retorted, sounding confident. Annie had overcome huge obstacles in her life, and for all she cared, Karolina was just another one.

DING! DING!

The bell rang, and Annie immediately moved to the center of the ring, hoping that Karolina would not be too far up her own ass and give her a test of strength. Karolina was gonna be surprised at how strong Annie is.

There’s that foolhardy gusto she knew wrestlers possessed. It never failed to bring a sneer. It took a small huff to brush off, a crack of the neck to move forward, “Quite the ambition.” and the bell to bring reality afoot. The eagerness of this young wrestler was palpable, who took the ring’s heart and offered a test of strength. They had more than a ruler between them in height, not even reaching her shoulders, plus twice the height. It was like a dog stepping to a tank. How admirable, or perfectly stupid.

Karolina’s head tilted, taking a step forward. An eye squeezed and she began to laugh, “HAHAHA…. Fool.”
The invitation was declined. She took one more step, then lifted her knee and thrusted the sole of her boot towards Annie’s head in one fluid and snappy motion.

Annie was never gonna step down to anyone, no matter how much bigger they were compared to her. She knew her strength and guts would help her overcome any challenge, even if Karolina was the size of 2 Annies. So she attempted a test of strength with the much bigger redhead.

And before she could even react, thinking for sure Karolina's ego would not make her decline the test of strength, was soundly surprised when Karolina's sole met her freckled face. "AAAH!" Annie screamed as she fell down to the mat back first with a loud thud.

Holding her face in pain, Annie was but a tool for Karolina to chew on right now.

After her boot’s sole crashed into Annie’s unprotected face, Karolina lowered her boot down slowly, rolling her neck in tandem. “Never answer what one expects. Have you ever heard of strategy?” Karolina then bent over, reaching to clasp her hand over their throat. A second hand aimed for a fistful of their hair, and together, lifted Annie off the ground. But even if she got her off the ground, Karolina kept elevating, dropping the hand for their hair to suspend them by their neck, a half-curled bicep flexing for those to see. Then the arm fully flexed, and she snapped it down, aiming to chokeslam this little girl into the canvas below.

Annie's version looked blurred, she could only barely make out Karolina's red headed figure as her face felt like it was on fire. The boot felt like a semi truck going head first into a tractor. She had never meet someone who hit so hard. And hearing her taunt Annie like she did, there was sort of reaction from Annie. To her, strategy was something she never thought off, as she just relied on her pure power to get her through any solution. Tonight looked like the first night that would be challenged.

Annie could not do anything about the grip Karolina had on her throat, only that the airway she had was being slowed down, her month only able to make hacking sounds. And then Karolina grabbed her orange hair that was visible underneath her hair cloth that her mom gave to her. Luckily it seems like Karolina did not mess with it, as it is precious keepsake from her mother that she holds dearly.

And then Annie was slowly lifted off the ground, and she was able to kick around or struggle to get out of it. Karolina's grip was just too overpowering for her, her face turning into a slight blue. She was being shown around like a trophy. And there was nothing she could do about it.

And then Karolina dropped her in the least nice way possible, as Annie was chokeslammed to the mat, so hard that it felt like the mat vibrated and the crowd ooh'd in response. "AAH!" Annie yelled as she crashed to the mat. Arms and legs spread out, her eyes barely open. Annie felt like she could barely move, people would be forgiven for thinking Karolina could pin her and win right now.

Annie could not do anything, it truly felt like the first time Annie truly felt the difference in size between her and her opponent. She may be outmatched. Things feel hopeless for Annie.

Spirits are commendable— but dissonant. Understanding one’s own willpower to their capability was key to any success on a stage like this. Karolina knew both, and her children knew only one or the other. Seeing their dissonance was but a glass that now seemed shattered, sprinkled at her black boots.

Her tongue clicked, “That’s good. Just — stay there.”

True — this gangly soup of splayed out wrestler limbs did look quite staggered, dancing on a knife’s edge between conscious and dreamland. That wasn’t enough. Karolina jumped with both feet, turned horizontal, folded her arm, jutted the elbow down and aimed to stab it right onto Annie’s naval.

Annie's situation was becoming more and more dire, she could very much meet an early end for herself by Karolina's hand. Luckily for Annie, she was still conscious, Karolina's powerful slam had not knocked her out. And she was not gonna go down that easily. All that hard work won't let get knocked down a easily as a cattle.

Luckily for Annie, she heard all of Karolina's trash talk before the much larger lady sprung into the air, and attempted to drop an elbow on her. And this gave Annie enough time to just slowly attempt to roll out of the way.

Annie was gonna be a fighter no matter the odds.

No shame in quitting, tiny, fragile thing. All glass can shatter when you drop it at a height, that was the law of things. That was how it always goes. Anything, this whole resistance, was just putrid rebellion against it. Karolina was willing to chew on it, dropping the elbow before it spiked the canvas below.

“Tch.” The first tick of pain spritzed her bone. There was more discomfort in getting hit with a squirt gun, and she was quick to sit-up, almost mechanical like a wrestling war machine. She huffed, stared and was slowly making her way up. Run along, then, ant. They have earned at least a second’s solace.
