Theodora Simmons vs. Tilde Voclain - A Great Shake-Up

Wrestling in Japan was a lot different than wrestling at the States, and it would take Theodora a while to get used to this kind of atmosphere. It had been two weeks since she arrived here in Japan, and after acclimatizing herself to this new environment, Theodora could tell that LAW was indeed the land of opportunities that many in wrestling communities claimed that it was. And Theodora herself was glad that she bothered to learn Japanese before coming here, and while she might not be able to master the language, at the very least she could converse with average Japanese people here without much hassle.

Of course, the most important thing here was for her to wrestle. Now that she had joined LAW, Theodora aimed to go big and make a name for herself. Back in the States where she still wrestled in PHW, or Power Hour Wrestling, she made sure to contribute to the promotion to keep it afloat, becoming its multi-times Power Hour Champion, though in the end, it couldn't compete with various other promotions out there as it had to close down. Theodora spent half a year being an independent wrestler, moving from one venue to another before she caught the attention of LAW. From there, she went ahead and sign a multi-years contract with the big wrestling promotion.

For her debut match, Theodora was slated to face someone named Tilde Voclain. Theodora didn't know who she was, but she was determined to be the winner regardless. Clad in her red leotard, Theodora was determined to show her skill and make it clear that she was here to make waves. Receiving her cue, Theodora made her entrance, her music playing from the loudspeakers. The crowd didn't quite recognize her, being a newcomer, though the ever excitable audience popped for her entrance. Her curvaceous figure also played a huge part in their reactions, and Theodora smirked, thinking that she would be having a great time here in LAW.

Theodora's red leotard accentuates her curves, and the cameramen didn't waste this opportunity to focus on her figure as she made her way to the ring. Soon, she arrived there, and after posing for the crowd and people at home, she climbed up the apron and entered the ring. Confident smirk could be seen on her beautiful face, and after walking around inside the ring a few times, Theodora made her way to her corner and leaned against the turnbuckle, draping her arms over the ropes as she waited for her opponent to show up. Directing her gaze at the entrance, she wanted to see what this Tilde was like.

Tilde was still not used to working on a big promotion like this, it wasn't long since her debut so it was to be expected but still she could hardly believe she made it this far. Not knowing the language was a pain, but she was learning and could at least understand the basics, and work, well here everybody used English anyway so it wasn't a problem. Now, all that mattered was doing what she was supposed to - wrestling.

Today she would be facing another woman for her debut match and to her pleasant surprise, it was a name she knew. Theodora Simmons was also a wrestler that made her way up from a smaller promotion to here. It seemed fitting that they would face each other at some point and was the timing a little different they could be both debuting. While the idea was nice a chance for that has already passed.

Tilde finished getting dressed just in time to hear her opponent's theme start. Her new outfit was nicely underlining both her curves as well as her muscles and was easy to move around in but getting it on was choir. Now she made sure her hair was in order before checking if every piece of her gear was in order just as Theodora finished her entrance. She fixed a sleeve and flexed to make sure it was sitting properly now before getting to the stairs as her music started to roll.

She rushed to the center of the stage throwing her fist up as she stopped in the middle and pointed her finger at the audience and passed it over the entire stadium. As she drew back her hand she would turn and flex both her arms and back tightly wrapped in her attire as to show every detail, then she would turn and strike a pose while standing sideways before continuing to the ring, clapping hands with fans along the way.

As she slide under the ropes to the ring she would get to the corner and climb on top of it to flex for the audience one last time. Then she would jump down and after being called over by the referee, approached the center of the ring.

"I've seen a few of your fights, you are good. Let's make it a show to remember"

One thing that Theodora noticed about her opponent was that she was much bigger than her in size and presumably heavier than her in weight. Which meant that her opponent might have a slight advantage over her in terms of weight class. Not that it mattered to Theodora, who wasn't exactly a stranger to matches where she had to face bigger opponents. And the difference between the two of them wasn't too much anyway, so Theodora thought that this wasn't exactly an unfair match-up.

Approaching the center of the ring, Theodora raised an eyebrow when her opponent, Tilde, told her that she had seen her matches before. Well, it was normal, considering that she was pretty active at the states back then before she joined LAW. "Oh? Is that so?" This would mean that this Tilde might already know her fighting style, though that wasn't really a problem for Theodora. "Well, you better hope this will go your way if you want this to be a show to remember, because I'm planning to win this..."

Getting herself ready for the match, Theodora waited for the bell to be sounded. When the referee called for the bell, the match finally started. Carefully eyeing her opponent, lowering her body, Theodora would raise her hands as she would circle her opponent, looking for the best angle to make her first move. Then, she would surge forth, looking to lock up with Tilde. She might be smaller than her in terms of body size, but Theodora was used to grappling with bigger men and women in the ring before.

The bell sounded and Tilde reflexively dropped to a grappling stance, low on her feet and with her hands up. Seeing as they matched in the opening approach she couldn't help but smile. They would circle each other for a while before they bother to move forward to lock up. While Tilde was larger and most likely stronger than Theodora grappling was more than that, technique mattered and she couldn't know if she would match her opponent on that or not. Instead of testing that she would try a bit of misdirection hoping to get her move in first.

First, she would pull down on her opponent's neck making it seem as if she would try to get her onto the mat like this but instead would let go after reaching a certain level down to try and perform a single leg takedown. If that were to work she would keep control of Theodora's leg and pull it with a sudden burst of strength hoping to toss her a small way behind her.

Theodora carefully watched Tilde as she prepared herself to lock up with her. But then, Tilde went for a misdirection instead, suddenly performing a single leg takedown after locking up with her. Of course, Theodora knew what to do in this situation as she fell down, and when she was tossed behind her, Theodora would quickly regain her bearing by performing a forward roll, quickly getting herself on her feet.

She took at least two seconds to regain her bearing before she looked at Tilde, knowing that she needed to perform a counterattack before Tilde could follow up with her move earlier. So, she would close in and try to grab her opponent from her side, securing her grip on one of her arms so that she could try twisting it, looking to subject her to a wrist lock.

Theodora was quick to both recover and come with her own attack as she would succeed in locking Tilde in a wrist lock. She would grit her teeth, taking a second to think on what she could do before shifting so that Theodora would face her side and throwing a kick at her stomach, hoping that it would force her to let go of her arm.

Securing her grip on Tilde's wrist, Theodora was looking to twist it in order to weaken her opponent, though Tilde decided to throw a kick at her stomach. "Ngh!" Theodora was forced to let go of her wrist, stepping back. Now back to square one, Theodora would get into position, observing her opponent to see what she was doing next.

Exchanging small moves would be taking this match nowhere, Tilde felt she needed to do something more impactful to get the early advantage. She would take a few steps back before launching herself forward and going low with her arm at reaching to the side so it and her shoulder would hopefully connect with Theodora's abdomen and allow Tilde to carry her forward and smash against the corner.

Theodora was expecting Tilde to continue exchanging small moves, so she didn't expect her suddenly launching herself towards her, driving her shoulder into her gut. "UGHHH!!" Theodora's eyes went wide as Tilde's shoulder impacted against her belly. She was then pushed towards the corner, her back hitting the turnbuckle. She gasped in pain and now she was exposed to whatever Tilde would try to do next.

Having Theodora dazed for a moment, Tilde wouldn't let up. After slamming her against the corner she would move to secure her opponent's neck over her shoulder while hooking her knee with the opposing hand. She would now take a large inhale of breath and try to lift Theodora, throwing her back in a fishermen suplex.

If that would succeed she would try to get up as quickly as possible to flip the other woman to her belly before grabbing her left leg and after securing it in position she would bend back for a single leg Boston crab
