"Her name is Newbie!" exclaimed Deanna Duncan backstage, gesturing to the monitor showing Newbie Nuo's entrance.
"Wh-why!?"
"Presumably because she's new, Deanna," answered Cheyenne Black Rock calmly as she had her arms crossed, watching the monitor with indifference.
"But why would you call yourself that!? That's like... I don't know, calling yourself Jobber. Putting a giant kick me sign on your back--not that you can fit it anywhere because what the hell is keeping that floss outfit together even?" rambled Deanna, squinting her eyes to try inspecting Newbie's outfit further.
Cheyenne shrugged a shoulder.
"She's very brave. I'm uncertain if I could wrestle in that."
"First of all, don't sell yourself short. You're like an eleven, and there is absolutely a niche here for strong muscle babes in revealing outfits. Maybe skip the mask though, because your face is immaculate except for the Resting Chey Face," explained Duncan, tilting her head and still trying to figure out Nuo's outfit.
"Your reassurance is, as always, appreciated Deanna," replied the Native American.
"I am up next though." Black Rock would then start towards the stage while Duncan followed behind.
"Also, she has had like twenty matches at least. How is she a newbie still? Like, she's got to be an Intermediate Nuo by now, at least."
Black Rock gave Deanna a final strange look before starting out of the gorilla position.
Protect the Land - System of a Down began to play as a spotlight shined down on Cheyenne Black Rock, looking as imposing and impressive as ever. Deanna Duncan would be behind her with a big grin on her face, contrasting the stoicism of her partner as she accompanied her to the ring. Black Rock simply walked down down to the stage, nothing special, while Deanna slapped hands with various members of the crowd and slapped Cheyenne on the back, trying to hype her up. Eventually, the Chieftess would make her way to the ring steps, walking up them before stepping up and over the top rope to enter the ring.
Cheyenne looked at her opponent with a neutral expression as Deanna jogged up to the apron next to her partner when Cheyenne's music stopped. Duncan would then jump onto the middle rope, clutching the top rope with both hands as she shouted out,
"Hey! Watch out! She's not a Newbie at all! She's trying to suck you into a false sense of security!" Then, she pointed directly at Nuo and yelled,
"I see through your mind games!"
The Native American would have to do her best to refrain from laughing, simply bowing her head to make it less noticeable.
"Thank you for looking out for me," said Cheyenne.
Deanna snickered and slapped her friend on the shoulder before walking back out to the ringside area.
"You know it!" And with that, Cheyenne Black Rock would walk to the center of the ring to meet her opponent, having regained her composure.
