Gabi Pelletier took a deep breath, doing her best to stay calm as she prepared for another exhibition match against one of LAW's fully fledged wrestlers. She new it was part of her training, facing off against the more experienced men and women in the promotion to get a taste for the real competition, but that knowledge did not make her less nervous. She paced back and forth back stage, tugging her white and red leotard more snugly up over her short, buxom frame. The rest of her attire consisted of long red gloves and matching thigh-boots, and her long hair hung loose and glorious. Her tawny skin shone under the light, but her jittery movements betrayed her nervousness.
Her music,
Avril Lavigne - Here's to Never Growing Up came blasting from the speakers and Gabi let the lively beat instil her with much needed confidence and swelling her chest out, she stepped from the backstage area into the lights. She forced a smile onto her face, hips swaying as she strutted down the ramp, waving to the cheering fans and hoping she was carrying off the look of a seasoned pro! She gripped the bottom rope and hauled herself up into the ring with a squeak of effort, before facing her foe. She looked the punk girl up and down with a sense of apprehension, swallowing hard as she tried to keep a handle on her nerves.
"
H-hey there!" she blurted awkwardly, facing Kureiji in the centre of the ring and trying to look confident. "
Hope you're ready for a good match!"
