Deku took a deep breath backstage as he rubbed his wrists while his opponent made her entrance. Admittedly this was probably a first for him. Going up against someone who was a freaking princess after all. Well distantly as far as his research had shown but... still.
"Hopefully she's not the obnoxious kind of princess." Deku said as he did a final check of his green and black wrestling gear, insuring that was all secure and good to go for his match. Finding everything to be ok he would nod and head to the entrance ramp, running over what he knew of his opponent to strategize a bit before hand.
"Lets see, she's tough and cunning, her recent bouts against Hagiwara san are proof of that, but she seems to have a limited amount of damage she can take and is mostly a tag competitor with her only singles matches being against Hagiwara, meaning I may have an advantage-" He continued on but his voice steadily lowered as he did so, going more into a mumble as he ran over the details he knew until feeling a tap on his shoulders. Blinking he looked up at the stage hand who gestured that it was time for him to make his entrance.
"Oh right of course." He said with a nod of appreciation as his music started up
Coming out from behind the curtain Deku was greeted with a very adequate pop, a sign that he had managed to get fairly popular with fans despite his mixed record of wins and losses. Even so it did help to make the boy feel a bit more confident as he started to come down the ramp at a measured pace before breaking out into a run towards the ring. As he did so he would leap up, between the bottom and middle rope before coming to a stop with his leg extended out before popping up and throwing a hand out for the crowd who cheered in response.
Turning to his opponent Deku would gain a small blush and a slightly nervous expression as he saw the... skimpy attire of his opponent. Not that Noelle was the first to wear something like that who he'd fought, after all he wrestled against Clara Gaster for 30 minutes wearing about the same, but he was at least mad at her for that. Gulping softly to get a hold of himself Deku would step forward and offer a handshake to the silver haired girl.
"Uh hello Noelle, or is Your Highness more appropriate? I'm sorry I'm not one hundred percent which is most appropriate." He said bashfully while scratching the back of his head, wanting to get the match off on the right foot given he knew what Noelle could do when offended or mad, and besides, he genuinely wasn't sure what the proper decorum was with someone who was, even distantly a legitimate princess.
