As she tightened her own gloves, standing at Skylar's side in the locker room, Cecilia rolled her eyes.
"Hoes. Really? Real original with your insults, I see." Still, she couldn't let her partner's cringeworthy rhetoric get in the way of what was important. She was ready to make her debut as one half of a tag team alongside the Brawling Puppet, after
the two of them had met during a training session at the gym. Now, it was time for LAW to see what the newly-christened Street Dogs could bring to the table, and she intended to make a strong first impression.
Of course...that would depend on Skylar being able to stick with the entrance they planned upon. And, no matter how many times the two had gone over this before, Cecilia was readily aware that teaching Skylar Jones anything was like talking to a brick wall sometimes. And tonight was no exception - when the lights came on, Cecilia was standing alone at the top of the ramp, with Skylar a good ways ahead of her. Groaning, she buried her face in her palm and shook her head.
"Goddammit, Sky..." She was quick to follow after her, trying her best to ignore the chuckles coming from the fans as she met up at Skylar's side.
"Just...just let me take care of the entrances for now," she whispered, before climbing onto the ring apron to face her opponents.
The Street Dogs wouldn't be the only team making their debut tonight - and when Cecilia set eyes on the two women opposite her, she couldn't say that she'd expected them to look like this. LAW gave its wrestlers a lot of leeway when it came to what they wanted to wear in the ring, even compared to other promotions, but this had to be the first time Cecilia saw anyone enter the ring in full medieval getup, weapons and all. She stood for a moment, blinking in confusion, before she crossed her arms and chuckled to herself with a confident smirk.
"I feel like these idiots won't need any help embarrassing themselves," she said to her partner.
Nodding to Skylar's suggestion, Cecilia stepped through the ropes, where she stared Aria down. She struck a stance, keeping her feet apart with one hand held at her side balled into a fist.
"Think the two of you might've gotten lost," she said flatly, keeping her eyes narrowed.
"The ren faire's that way," she added, pointing back over her shoulder with her thumb. Then, though, she brought her hands out in front of her, cracking her knuckles.
"But if it's a beating you're looking for...the two of us are happy to oblige."
